4 reviews for Fairfield Inn & Suites by Marriott
I come down to this area frequently and this area just outside of Redwood Shores is perfect.
I agree with the other reviewers the hotel is still new and nice hasn't got to the run down stage and some hotels do.
I love the refrigerator and microwave in the room that way if you have just a few things with you. You are able to store them away and not pay $2.00 for a soda from the machine.
The breakfast daily is great. I like that you can go and help yourself and don't have to rush out to find a breakfast somewhere else.
I belong to the Marriott Rewards Club so that is definitely worth it as you can receive free nights stay with a certain number of points.
My overall experience with this hotel has been great! I'll definitely go back again.

We stayed at the Fairfield Inn a couple weeks ago this Friday as we needed another day to unpack at our new condo. The room was very clean with a roomy tub, small kitchen, big screen TV, and even a comfortable roll out. The breakfast was simply Odis Spunkmayer danish, Fiber 1 bars, and juice which was still good, even though there were no meats, hash browns, or pancakes. The staff was very nice when we called about two items that we had accidently left behind, going through lost-and-found to search for them over the phone and saving them for us to pick up the following Monday. So, for a clean, comfortable room with wonderful amenities and excellent continental breakfast at good rates, the Fairfield Inn & Suites cannot be beat. Keep up the good work guys.!

It's a Marriott, what can I say. I stay at Marriott quite a bit and I find them nothing if not consistent.
This one is very convienient to where I needed to be this week, and while it's at the airport, I'm an airplane nut and like the other review says - they're little planes.
I agree with the other review here - pretty clean, carpets haven't gotten skeevy yet. Decent internet speeds.
Service was good. Room was clean every day. My only beef would be that for this size hotel, the dining area was tiny. It's a battle to find a place to sit and eat in the mornings. It would be nice if there were something other than high-end Izzys or bottom of the barrel Burger King within walking distance but i've found some great restaurants close by.
Probably oughta call it Airfield Inn since it is practically right on the San Carlos runway. It's ok, they're just little bitty planes! Almost as new as the Towneplace Suites, another Marriott property across the airport and literally within sight, in Redwood Shores. This one is a notch more budget than Towneplace but is still probably only halfway through it's carpet lifecycle, so it's still pretty clean. Close to a Burger King, the Hiller Aviation Museum, and easily accessible to the Holly Street exit from 101, and nearly as close to Electronic Arts, Macromedia, and Oracle.
