Initially, I was annoyed by the fact that the individual answering the phone couldn't give me directions to the hotel from the I-5 fwy. Or was I more annoyed by the fact that I let my Iphone battery run down completely so that I had to call for directions in the first place? I learned that it was likely due to the fact that the hotel is located closer to the 99 than to the 5, by far.

Once we arrived, that was all in the distant past. The hotel was perfect for a weary traveler on an overnight stop. New, great room/beds that are nicely appointed, free internet, excellent workout and swimming pool facilities, and expansive breakfast bar included in the room price. There is a "Texas BBQ" restaurant across the parking lot with decent food that's very convenient for sit-down or take-out. It's worth driving to if you're on your way up/down the 99, but may not be worth driving over to if you're on the I-5.

We got a room for $100 per night.

Was here for business. Fairfields typically have nice rooms in the No. CA. This place was no exception, everything from the lobby, exercise room, indoor pool to the rooms themselves was spotless and clean. Their continental breakfast was the best, with Jimmy Dean sandwiches, full size Yoplait, an array of teas, etc. It's next to 99 fwy and there are several different restaurants, gasoline statons, market, Target, etc. nearby.
