I was flying down for the Disneyland Half Marathon, so I needed a place for one night. I found a deal for this hotel through the Disney Travel Company. The marathon guide book said there would be no shuttle service to this hotel because it was too close to the start line. How close could it be??? It was literally right across the street from the entrance to the parks!
We got to the hotel before our room was ready, so we checked in, and they held our bags for us. We strolled over to pick up our race packets at the Disneyland hotel, and after we finished window shopping in Downtown Disney, our room was ready.
The hotel is very family oriented. The third floor had a little food/eating area where they served Pizza Hut and some other snacks. There are also microwaves available for guests to use. I microwaved my free bag of popcorn that came with my room...yummy! For the kiddies, they have a little arcade area to keep them entertained....as if Disneyland wasn't enough! They have a pool and a jacuzzi. The pool wasn't very big, but we used the jacuzzi to soak our tired feet after a long day of walking.
Our room had 2 queen beds which was great for 3 girls. The room had a mini-fridge which came in quite handy for keeping our water cold. Nothing fancy schmancy about the room. Plenty of space in the room, so we all had a little corner to throw all our junk.
Its no five star hotel, but its very cozy. I'd definitely stay here again since its super duper close to Disneyland.

It is so close to Disneyland it's insane. There's a mini fridge in the room, free wifi, temperature control, and a bunch of restaurants nearby, with a Pizza Hut and game room on one floor.
Their pool isn't amazing, and the jacuzzi isn't up to par, but for the price you're paying, who cares!
The rooms are a bit small for my liking, and the bathrooms are impossibly small. The beds don't exactly seem...clean? If that's how to describe it. Then again, my friends DID hit the ceiling a couple million times...
Why the four star rating? YOU CAN SEE THE DISNEYLAND FIREWORKS FROM THE HOTEL BALCONY. Yippee.
The best thing about Fairfield Inn is no doubt its location. It's about a 7-8 minute walk to the main gate of Disneyland (more like 10 when it's crowded though). The staff are friendly and if you go back to the hotel for a break during the late afternoon, they have staff to welcome you back with lemonade.
Pros:
~ great location
~ mini fridge in room
~ free WiFi
~ comfortable bed
~ Millie's, Mimi's, Pizza Hut Express, McDonald's located inside or next door
Cons:
~ pillows are too soft
~ the AC unit in our room was very loud, especially during the night
~ our room was very dusty (can see the dust on the coffee maker and the hangers)
~ they don't make the rooms until late afternoon which is not ideal if you like to rest in the middle of the day
The Fairfield is a great little hotel across for Disneyland. Don't get me wrong, there is no luxury here, but if you are spending all hours at the park this place is a gem. The room was clean and reasonably priced in comparison to all the hotels right next to Disney.
The walk to and from Disney takes just minutes and the proximity of Mimi's cafe and McDonalds makes it really convenient for eating outside the park.
The only negative I can say about the hotel is that they do not have key swipers on the exterior stair doors so if your room is near the stairs you still have to go all the way to the lobby to get inside - makes the walk just a little longer at the end of the day.

I have stayed here about 10 times in the last year. Right across from Disneyland. Usually about $100 per night. Rooms are clean and staff is very friendly. Small pool but it gets the job done. Free parking. STAY AWAY FROM MILLIE'S RESTUARANT IN PARKING LOT. VERY RUDE, BAD FOOD
Coming here is like going to Vegas: you're paying for primo location and yet you barely spend any time actually IN the room.
Pretty decent digs for a quickie weekend getaway to Disneyland. The bed was nice and comfortable, with fluffy pillows. The little refrigerator housed our leftover pizza. Again, the biggest draw was that the park entrance was a short 5 minute walk away. Everything was in walking distance. Walking, walking, walking.
My only gripe would be the shower...while the shower head is nice and big, the water was lukewarm at best. That and parking after dark is a challenge, but we were quick to realize that the Millie's parking lot did have a few tight-squeeze spaces left.
This would be a great place for a family stay at if they are visiting the park. We stayed here overnight as a part of our Date Night because we saw a late movie at the AMC Theater in Downtown Disney. It is one of the largest Fairfield Inn's I have seen and definitely focuses on families going to the two theme parks.
They have a Seattle's Best Coffee shop and a Pizza Hut Express on the 3rd floor. They have an ok size pool area. Parking can be a challenge. When we got back from our movie at 1 am, we had to drive around and finally ended up parking in front of the Millie's Restaurant in the same parking lot. I never would have imagined this.
The place is Disney without being officially Disney with great artwork and Disney movies in your room. The rooms are a good size and have small refrigerators, but the bathroom vanities are a bit low.
Overall a great value and super location. We plan on coming back here with our two year old for a staycation later this summer.
I only stay at the Fairfield inn. Great location, friendly staff. Have stayed at other hotels on S. harbor and they do not compare. I have stayed here 3 times this year, a trip this weekend and 1 in the beginning of Nov. Great rates. Would not think of staying anywhere else.
Room was clean and roomy. We received EXCELLENT room service. About a 5 minute walk from the Disneyland entrance. Parking at the hotel parking lot can be a challenge, but eventually you'll find a spot. My room (647) overlooked Disneyland, which also meant that my room door did not face the hallway, which leads to less people passing by. I would DEFINITELY stay there again!
It's a fine hotel for this area. It's close to Disneyland and they have a pool and Jacuzzi. The rooms are nothing fancy though, the beds are a five on a scale of 1-10. It's about a 5 min walk across the street to Disney.
Rooms were clean and quite. We were facing the pool on the second floor and noise was not a problem. They have a pizza hut and Starbucks but I didn't utilize either.
It's a Marriott so you know you're gonna get a decent room, at a decent price, if you are a AAA member or Marriott Rewards member. I saved $50 off the rate because I was a AAA member.

This place is OK, its close to Disneyland about a 5 min walk. The pizza hut and game room and the 3rd floor is awesome. The room wasn't as clean as I'm used to, the bathtub was a little dirty and the pillow cover had a stain on it which freaked me out.
Its kind of loud, I could hear kids running up and down the hallway. Its a great place to see the fireworks show outside of Disneyland.
I'd stay again but I'm going to scope out nearby hotels.
So i'm a bit of a "Disney nut" I LOVE DISNEYLAND!!! And if i can't stay in a Disney Hotel, i ALWAYS stay here. I recommend it to EVERYONE. I'll be staying here for the 5th time this December. The rooms run about $110-$130 depending on who you book through (i'd recommend expedia or orbitz)
Clean rooms, directly across the street from the park, Pizza Hut AND Starbucks on the 3rd floor (and a microwave as well), fridge in your room, washers and dryers on every single floor (don't forget quarters and detergent :), Milli's Resturant, Mimi's Cafe, and McDonald's right downstairs, and a IHop about 2 hotels over.
So, *for the price* i give this place 5 stars. What more could you ask for?! I mean BESIDES Mickey Mouse sleeping in the bed next to you.... =P
There seems to be some confusion. I found a different hotel name here on yelp, with the same address. I just came back from there and I know it said Fairfield in giant big letters on the side. It's a nice hotel, a bit loud on the freeway side. They have a Pizza Hut on the 3rd floor. Our room was clean but there was some long hair in the bathtub.
The location is amazing. You just walk across the street and you're at Disneyland. It was so easy. Our room had a small dorm fridge but no microwave. You could look out the window and see the fireworks and the Matterhorn (the mountain)
Location Location Location. Seriously a great LOCATION, a faster walk to Disney from here than it is from the actual Disneyland Hotel. Rooms are clean. Prices OK-ish ($110 on a thursday!?)....marriott means points or miles for members, many restaurants a close walk, downside is it is packed PACKED with squealing cavorting children.
If you asked, I would say this place is 'ok'. It's not fantastic, but it's clean. The walls are a lil thin. It's nice that it's a 5 minute walk to Disneyland, but you have to walk by those people that ask you if your from out of town and try to get you to go to a free dinner. Anyone ever go to that? Ping me and let me know how it was, just interested.
It's okay. For the price and the great location, it 's worth it for a family on a budget and who isn't on a tight budget right now? The room was clean but there was a dampness in the carpet. The cleaning staff and maintenance ppl were super friendly. The front desk was friendly as well. The Carousel Inn is pricier but the rooms are definitely an upgrade from the Fair Field Inn.
