Fairfax National is actually three 9-hole courses - Antietam, Wilderness, and Bull Run.  I played the Wilderness and Bull Run courses yesterday, a gorgeous day for a round of golf.  I've decided I really really like this course.  It is in great shape and the layout is interesting and challenging.  The Bull Run course seems more challenging due to the narrow tree lined fairways.  On a hot humid day, such as yesterday, I was happy that the snack cart came around as often as it did.  There are facilities for group events.  See the website for specials.  I would like to golf here again to check out the remaining 9 holes.
