I like to run but running does not like my feet so regular pedicures are a must for this girl!  Fab is fast and reasonable - $25 for a pedicure in about 50min.  You can call ahead to make an appointment or drop-in with wait time about ~5min.

I'm a bit of a 'germ phob' so be assured that Fab is clean and tidy!  The polish selection high quality and quite expansive but I'm picky so I bring my own.

My Fab Girl of Choice is Diane - she's Ruper friendly, fast and very detailed + she gives a great foot massage.  Ahhhh - thanks Diane!

HORRIBLE!!  

Worst pedicure ever!!   I just moved here from Washington, DC.  

I've NEVER been to a salon where I received a $27 pedicure with a bucket of water (that's right) instead of in a proper pedicure chair.

The water was barely warm to start with, was cold within a couple of minutes.  The girl BARELY touched my feet, and when she did she cut my cuticles SEVERAL times when trying to trim them.

On top of all this, she was SLOW !!!!  Almost an hour for the worst pedicure EVER and to add insult to literal injury -=== TWENTY SEVEN DOLLARS !!!!!  

STAY AWAY.   HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE

RUDE reception, cold water, bad pedicure!!!!!

The girls here are great!
This was my original Nail/ Waxing place but had to find another place more locally convenient because I moved..
I continue to go back once and a while when my schedule permits.. As mentioned by a previous reviewer, the turn over is very low.. My original  nail technician (Mona) is still there... I continue to refer business to them because they are sooo customer friendly, and always do such a great job!
The prices have increased over the years, however it's worth it!
If by chance you have the opportunity to go in, please tell Mona I said "hi"..

The meticulous staff at this unassuming strip mall nail salon take wonderful care of their clientele.  The basic mani/pedis last longer than your average chop shop and you needn't worry over cleanliness of the tools or quality of the air you breathe during your appointment.  They have plenty of space to accommodate groups and always have a hot pot of coffee ready on a cold day.  As mentioned by the other reviewer, prices are a little higher- you can find similar quality in San Francisco at a lower rate- but for the Peninsula, this place is worth the extra coin.

7/25/07:  I'm adding a star today because I have now been twice for brow waxes in addition to nail care and they continue to wow me.  The $15 brow wax here is just as quality as the $25 wax at the spa up the road.  And every time I visit, the mani/pedi is perfect.

I am surprised to be the first person reviewing this nail salon because these gals are good and the shop always packed.  


They are not cheap at $25 for a pedicuare and $15 for a manicure (which is why I didn't give 5 stars), but you get what you pay for.  They get in there and dig away at the gooky stuff under my toes and cut away all of the cuticle.  A pedicure can take an hour here because they don't miss anything.  Additionally, they quality of the polish is good so that a pedicure can last for 6 weeks.  (No using nail polish remover to thin out old thickened polish at this joint)!

The facility is nice and clean, as attested to by all of the posh Atherton ladies who frequent it.  I've been coming here for years and haven't picked up any grody nail fungus yet.

I've had them wax my brows a few times and they did a decent job.  Not the most artistically done that I've ever experienced but fine in a pinch.

I have been going to this place off and on for the past 10 years.  They will take you in almost at any time, even without an appointment, and all the girls are very good.  Their turn over is very low so you know that they have experience.  Better to go midweek if you can because it can get kind of busy on the week-ends.
