Whoa - this place is PACKED with fabric. lots of different fabrics. I went in specifically looking for a charcoal grey decorative trim, they didn't have that, but I was impressed with the amount of lace trims (that would be ideal for unmentionables...

There were a wide range of fabrics - some beautiful silks, and if you need a ice skating outfit made, they have a large selection of sequined and novelty fabrics. Things seemed reasonably priced.

I went during the day in the middle of the week - and it was pretty busy. I can imagine the chaos that might happen on the weekends...

This place is terrifying. No one speaks English (or at least they pretend not to?), and their attitude towards their costumers is depressingly bad. They either neglect to notice you are there, or follow you like a hawk while you peruse their selection.

Although their selection is much better than a place like Jo-Anns or even Hancock, the atmosphere makes it not at all worth it. I LOVE to sew but never want to drive there because of how unpleasant it is.

It saddens me that this is the only bay area fabric store with a decent selection for lower prices.

I recommend buying clothing from Salvation Army and creating clothing from that, or taking a trip to SF to find a better store.

If you do go to this store, I STRONGLY recommend making sure they don't over charge you.. because that was a very common issue for me.

This place was fabric heaven..you could find anything in there...and i mean anything.

I even saw that they had fake Gucci fabric.....not sure how much that was though.

I bought a yard a half of this blue strechy felt fabric for my cinderella costume i'm going to attemp to make. I found everything easily and found a woman to come cut the fabric.

I don't think that she was tring to rip me off.. I saw the cut...it was fine...Some of the fabric rolls are too big to bring to the front. It was 6$ a yard...and I got 1 1/2 yards for 9$. She gave me 1$ off because one corner was botched...didn't matter though.

I didn't get 4% off even though I paid cash...I guess you have to let them know before you pay.

Everything was great except I was trying to ask for a iron adhesive...and they didn't really understand me, or care....so i decided to drop it.

in and out-quick and easy. Can't wait for my next project!!!

If you are looking for a relaxing place to look through pattern books and socialize THIS IS NOT THE PLACE!
If you are looking for quality material at a great price with LOTS to choose from THIS IS THE PLACE! I have been going to the store(s) for years for little projects and large. It can be a little overwhelming at first but once you figure out the process it is a lot of fun. I have actually seen people treated ruder at typical fabric stores than I have from the busy women who work here. My favorite is My! Once you have their attention they will do anything to find what you need and will order it if not. I finish my shopping time with a 'Sticky Bun' from the deli across the parking lot and enjoy my ride home to Gilroy.

Major culture shock! Fabrics R Us is great!!!

This little store has tons of rolls of fabric! Including some outside! Inside, the aisles are really just the spaces between the tall rolls of fabric. They have heavy carts with rolls of fabric piled 6 ft. high. They move the carts around around, so you may turn around to discover that the side of the aisle where you came in is now blocked completely. It was kind of exciting, like a forever changing maze.

Don't expect the employees to take the roll to a table and cut it. The Vietnamese woman who helped me was really nice and followed me all over the store to each roll of fabric I needed.  She told me when she reduced the prices marked on the rolls and somehow memorized all this. I tried to talk to her a bit, but she seemed embarrassed because she didn't speak too much English.

She would measure an edge, snip into the fabric a little, grab a fistful, tear it across with sharp yanks, then shove it into my arms. I was horrified the first time, but it was actually pretty cool :)

They have a lot of zippers, much cheaper than at other fabric stores, although you have to take a minute to figure out the wacky organization. I wasn't going to keep looking because the store was about to close, but they were really nice and told me to take my time and helped me find what I needed.

The employee wrote the prices out on a little piece of paper and then gave it to the cashier. They all seemed to have issues with math, but I didn't feel like I got ripped off. I have the receipts, but I didn't even bother to check, the prices seemed reasonable.

You have to tell them ahead of time if you want to pay with cash and get the 4% discount. I actually did this and then discovered that I did not in fact have enough cash (ooops!) I apologized and told them to take back the discount, but they let me keep it. Then about 4 ladies argued fast (and it seemed angrily) in Vietnamese for about 5 minutes, but it turns out they were trying to figure out the math so they could take the cash I did have and charge the rest to my credit card.

They stuffed my bunch of fabric with it's tangled nest of hanging threads into a little bag and said "See you tomorrow!"

It was quite a cultural experience! I highly recommend it. Thanks for the recommendation Yelp users!

I'm a garment seamstress and I get much of my fabric here:
- Formal Wear
- Slacks (synthetic & wool)
- Lining Fabric (an endless selection!)
- Chico's-like blouse fabrics

They are great for formal wear and costume fabric at ridiculously affordable prices. I made two elegant wedding dresses plus 5 Brides maids outfits for under 250. At a big corporate chain the amount and quality of what I bought would have been easily double that!

I left one star off only because the open market style of business and the language barrier have sometimes been frustrating, AND over the years I've grown accustomed to it - to the point that I enjoy it most of the time. This isn't a place to go if you need to ask a lot of questions about what you want or fiber content, etc.. If you have an idea though, go and feel your way through the jam-packed isles, most likely it will be matched for at least a quarter of what you'd pay anywhere else. Check out the other two stores in the strip mall there for many more tulle and upholstery fabrics.

One last NOTE/TIP...you do need to be somewhat assertive in getting someone to cut the fabric - they rarely come to you. You must seek them out and often wait next to the current person they are working with. This can be tricky if you lose sight of where the fabric is that you want but, once you get your cutter person, they will follow you around til you find it again!

Well, i'm not an avid buyer of fabrics, but this place sure has a lot to choose from! If your not Vietnamese it's kinda hard to communicate with the ladies that work there, you also have to fight for service against all the other customers. It's hard when you just want to know the simple price of different fabrics because not all are labeled clearly so your left guessing.

I got my prom dress fabric here a few years ago too, like I said if you like your choices, this is the place to go!

Fabrics R Us...a Mecca of everything you could wish for from fabrics to embellishments to everything in between.

Yes, it's a hot disorganized mess. And yes, you need to be patient while waiting for one of the workers to cut your fabrics or answer your questions for you. But it's wonderfully inexpensive...especially if I bust out the mother tongue to finagle some prices down. Heck, I have no shame, that's how this baller stays on a budget!!

Fabrics R Us is also slowly taking over this corner strip mall--now reaching over 4 different shops in one center!!!

My advice, go when you have time to peruse the stores and take cash--they give you a 4% discount when you use it. Happy Sewing!

Inexpensive vinyl (similar to marine grade), wider than Jo-ann's, cash discounts, but horrible and inaccurate services.  Will come back for more black, or red, or white vinyl.

Searched through Yelp for a good place to buy vinyl for making poker table.  Thanks to yelpers, I found this place.  Although this place only have about 3 different color that are the "stretchy" type which is good for upholstering rails for poker table, they do have it wider than the Jo-ann's stores.  It was wide enough to cover my 48"+1 1/2" + 1 1/2" extensions (51" table) which I need something at least 55-56" wide.

The bad side of my experience was that I asked for 1 1/2 yard of Vinyl, and she said okay, no problem, and she went ahead and cut 2 yards, and wanted to charge me 2 yard.  I have no use for that half a yard of scrap after I am done with that.  Typically, I would have negotiated the price down to 1 1/2 yard, but I didn't and I now regret it.  I could have walked away, and they will be stuck with 2 yard of vinyl that makes it harder to sale at full price.

Anyway, my recommendation is to take your time to make sure that they understand your requirement, and even write it down for them if necessary.  This is a must for my next return, as I would rather save the money that i paid for scrap for beer instead.

Going to the Design Center will cost me $50+ for ONE yard of fabric.

Why would I do that if I can find the same fabric for a fraction of the price at R Us? Yes, it's a pain in the butt to search high and low for the perfect fabric, but when you find it and see that it's $10 a yard, it makes it all worth while.

I love this place.

You have to come here with a good spirit and intentions. It may seem that you are delving into a pile of fabric, but as they say: one's man trash is another man's treasure. This may seem like trash, but whatever you are looking for--the treasure is to be found.

I've used this place for Halloween costumes and executed some fine, slutty outfit (2007 - "Little Red I'll Ride in Your Hood") capable of the holiday. And the fabric is priced well, that in my example--the price of that with the seamstress work equaled a normal costume in retail.

The place is Asian, so you can expect some spotty service. But this is not to say that the old ladies aren't cool and not willing to help you out if you can ask them the right way. They have expanded across three units in this plaza, with 1733A and 1733B as well. If you have fabric needs, this place is a seam going in a very good direction.

I was in search for the perfect fabric for my bridesmaid dresses and I went to several different places. I went to all the fabric places in san francisco, including every discount fabrics stores and stores on mission street. I decided to try some fabric stores in the south bay. I found this place from yelp....yay!! and came here.

This place is pretty packed with fabrics from satin to taffeta, etc. There isn't much walking room and you really have to search to find the right fabric.  I found my fabric here, iridescent taffeta and satin, and found it at cheaper places then in the city. They have ribbons as well, but the place is known for the fabric. Don't expect this to be a Joanne's or craft store ...they don't sell that much selection in buttons or flower accents etc.

If you are looking for pretty fabric for prom, weddings, bridesmaid dresses, try this place.

My Opinion/Story:
I was desperate and I needed to get fabrics for my wedding.  I used to live by Berryessa so I know this place.  It used to intimidate me from going inside because I don't know fabric but I needed some materials for my wedding and i had to brave this place.  Thank goodness my seamstress recommended this place too.  So I searched for my materials and was able to find all of them in one day.  I'm happy with my fabrics and the price I paid for them.  Quite helpful people too.

I agree, it is a bit claustrophobic... but that's half the fun! I loved getting lost in the forest of fabric... After a few minutes of unsuccessful forraging for microfiber fabric, I asked for help, and was immediately assisted by a petite Vietnamese lady, with her yardstick and scissors in hand. She measured it out for me, and I was in and out within 15 minutes.

Paid cash to take advantage of the 4% discount (strange, but not complaining) and we were off to start our project of reupholstering our dining chair cushions to a gorgeous mocha color. Cost per yard for microfiber was $8.99. Definitely comin' back for all our DIY projects!!!

4 stras if:
You're not in a hurry
You know what you want... or enjoy the thrill of the hunt
You're assertive enough to get someone's attention who is trying to ignore you
You like to save money
You get a sense of abundance and possibility from rows and rows of colors and textures

Don't come here if...
Customer service is more important to you than price
You get claustrophobic easily
You're in a hurry
You're too passive to demand to be helped
The thought of staring at endless colors and testures sends you into sensory overload

I absolutely love this place.  It is in total disarray, a little claustrophobic, but Oh I do love a challenge.  I buy a lot of fabric, 50 yards here, 75 yards there.  These people always hook it up, their prices are awesome, most of their fabric is high quality, and if you don't want to chit chat and just get your fabric and go the employees are always there with their yard stick and scissors on a string to follow you around and say "how many?"

Its definitely not your typical fabric store but I love it.  I even learned how to say Thank You in Vietnamese.

If you pay in cash you get a 4% discount, so make sure you swing by the atm on your way there.

From the outside, this place looks a little sketchy. It's in a small oriental plaza and the parking lot is pretty dingy. Lined up along the outside of the store walls are tons of fabric and the inside of the store is filled with even more. It's definitely not the most organized store I've seen and it can be overwhelming. Enter with caution or stay outside if you're claustrophobic because this store may cause you to have an anxiety attack. Don't say I didn't warn you.

Despite the chaos, I like this place. They have the best selection of fabric. No matter what you're looking for, I guarantee you'll find what you need here. Just make sure you allow yourself time to look through everything. BTW, if you pay with cash they'll give you a small discount. They accept credit cards too.

I haven't been to many fabric stores, but I know this one would not end up on my favorites' list.

I understand it's essential to have as many types of fabrics as possible, but when you can barely walk through the store without second guessing where you're going because you don't want to collide with other customers or land on your face.

I also know there's a language barrier because this is a Vietnamese owned store, but being able to understand how the employees talk about their customers while they're in the store, it's appalling.  Just because your customers do not understand you, you have no right to bad mouth them.  Some customers I've witnessed here are equally rude because they tried to bargain and take advantage of the owners for cheaper fabric and so on.  Either way, if you treat them with respect, you'll get the same in return.

Ah, I almost forgot about the fabrics themselves!  You'll find equally gorgeous ones as well as super tacky ones.  I've been trying to hunt down for a peacock blue fabric with some flowery design for my ao dai (Vietnamese dress) for a wedding so we ended up here for the afternoon.  They have a wide variety of fabrics which I noticed this fashion student was greatly intrigued coming to this store.  You'll find supplies such as colored threads, buttons, rolls of ribbons, tassels (for curtains), and so much more.  I spotted boas on the ceiling which looked kind of fun, but I hope that no one buys them and attaches it to any sort of clothing for collars, God forbid.  You might not find sturdier fabrics for furniture like they do at Jo-Ann's, but you can find material strong enough to make couch pillows and stuff like that.

I think overall, visit this store with caution if you're looking for fabrics.  It helps to be organized and have a list of what you want and bring a friend that can probably speak Vietnamese, eases up on the language barrier and the 2-sided hospitality.

this place rocks!  There is sooo much fabric... at really good prices!  All fabric to the right of the entrace into the main store is $1.99 a yard.  There usually is about 100 rolls to choose from... and that's just the outside.  This place is stuffed with fabric!.. but it just adds to the personality of the store.  If you're in a hurry, know exactly what you want and don't mind paying regular price, then you should go to Beverly's or Hancock fabrics.  This is the place where people looking for a good deal... and an adventure.

As for the service... it's not as bad as people say it is.  the ladies working really do smile!  Even though the store isn't well organized, the women know where their fabrics are... so don't be afraid to ask.

Downside... it can get really crowded.  Sometimes you might have to wait for someone to assist you.

Overall, it's worth checking out.  i don't think i've ever come here and left empty handed.

This place is awesome!  If you're more of a cutesy crafter/quilter type, it definitely isn't for you, and you won't find sterile rows of calico prints of bunnies and kittens.  This is for those who want to buy gorgeous reams of deep red silk to make floor length curtains, golden damask to cover an antique ottoman, or beautifully embroidered sheer material for a tablecloth overlay.  The possibilities are endless, and everything is cheap, cheap, cheap!  And they have an immense assortment of tassles, boas, fringe, trim, elastic, sequins, rhinestones, etc. Be prepared to dig around, but it is well worth it.

Yes the staff may seem aloof or even a little rude, but there is a language barrier, so the ladies aren't going to be chattin' it up with you about seam allowances and the best elastic to use for your 4 year old's jumper.  They are perfectly friendly, though.  I always get a smile and a hello and they always help me in a timely manner.  And I'm someone that buys 1/2 yd of 10 different fabrics all over the store.  They don't seem to mind at all! I agree with a previous poster that a smile and a kind demeanor can go a long way when you don't speak the same language.

They also have another store across the same parking lot with all of the upholstery fabric and foam.  Happy sewing!

When I first walked in the door I was like " Holy Crap!!" I have never seen so much fabric in my life all in one place. If ever you needed inspiration to make /create something this is the place to go. Seriously if you can't find the fabric in the "3" stores they own I don't think they make it!

I agree with everyone else very claustrophobic and unorganized.
Not very good customer service.

Mood from Project Runway this is not. However, if you want to get super cheap fabric this is your place.

The atmosphere: chaotic.
You know it'll be interesting inside when there are tons of bolts of fabric  laying outside against the building. (Do they bring those in each night?)

The languages: Vietnamese, Spanish, and Arabic.
The people who work there are sort of helpful if you ask where something is. They're not going to walk you to it like at JoAnn's, instead they'll just point in the general direction (and pointing in any direction is towards piles and piles of stuff so you'll still need to look a little). Just don't be afraid to ask - since everything is a mess it's hard to find things.

The prices: dirt cheap.
I needed 2 yards of silk chiffon fabric to make 5 scarves for my bridesmaids. It cost me $4 total. I believe JoAnn's sells the same amount of fabric on sale for $16.

Update: Actually, I couldn't even find anything similar to what I bought at JoAnn's today. Fabrics R Us had much more to choose from. And I still thing they're cheaper. JoAnn's didn't have any silk or fine polyester thread in my color either (light green).

I finally made a trip to Fabrics R Us thanks to another dancer friend of mine looking for fabric for new competition gowns.  A large selection of fabric spread across two store fronts in this industrial area of San Jose.  Getting there on the weekends can be a little slower as you have to pass by the crowded flea market.  Prices are good.  This is the best selection you'll find in the San Jose area.  Your other choices are heading up to SF or down to LA.  They also have a good selection of rhinestones, I believe.  I'll definitely be back.

Paying by cash provides you a 4% discount.  They also have an ATM on site that charges $1.50 or $2.00 fee.  But, the discount can sometimes make up for it.

Spools and spools of fabric galore!  There are always fairly decent discounted fabric displayed outside daily and although the place is completely draped in rolls of fabric and a bit crowded, you won't be disappointed by their deluge of varied materials.

If only it was a bit cleaner & more organized with less cantankerous workers.

***They actually have two stores in the same plaza.  The discreet one is tucked away in the corner adjacent to the main store.

EDIT: I removed my review myself, only because I can. I am in no way racist, just simply stating that being in this shop is like going to the flea market and observing what different styles of fabrics are used and to who their clientele is.

Bottom line: The service was extremely rude (which judging from other reviews I am correct in stating also) the fabrics were cheap (another statement backed by other reviewers) and trashy (my own opinion).

Its no sweat off my back cause I wont ever step foot or recommend this place to anyone. Id rather hit up the city and find service and fabric with some class.

i think i almost got eaten alive by fabric here! when i heard about this place i heard there was a lot of fabric...but WOW there was a lot of fabric... plus if one store isn't enough theres another one RIGHT ACROSS THE parking lot and another one a few doors down... that's THREE fabric stores in one parking lot.

i don't know my fabric but from what i could tell there only a slight arrangement in the order/grouping of the fabrics, so if you go you should already have an idea of what you're looking for so you (ie color or type of fabric) and be prepared to do a bit of scavenger hunting :)

the ladies are sweet and are very prompt with their service..

I absolutely love this place.  Yes their stock varies and they're sometimes a bit short staffed but the amount you pay per yard in comparison to ordering fabric or chain retailers is so much less who cares.   It's best to go on weekdays, by the weekend the staff tends to get swamped by many impatient people.  If you go often, make your presence known--say hello to the owner or his wife, have the same cutter--and you never know what bargains you may be in store for.  Haggling for a price sometimes works if you are going to buy lots of yardage or a whole bolt and I recommend it, don't expect it if you're buying less then 6 yards.

My key tips for coming here
1. Have a list and budget so you don't get distracted/overwhelmed at their mass quantities and varieties of fabrics Unless you're just looking
2. Go when you have time so if it's a day that everyone is overwhelmed you're not adding to that crankiness (just like any other wholesale business)
3. Pay in cash and get a discount (they do accept cards, but then you don't get a 4% discount)
4. Don't expect perfect English, you won't get it, but they do their best to accommodate the variety of their customers. As someone else pointed out, a smile goes a long way (and if it's a bad day for the employees it may be the only smile they get from customers).

Oh and a note on how their store(s) is/are "organized":
--in the main store (bld all by itself)- cotton blends/duct/silk/chiffon/dress blends/suiting
--in the store tucked in to the back of the complex: mainly upholstery fabrics and accessories, there is some chiffon/tule like stuff in here as well and a bit of stuff that looks like silk/raw silk
--the new store (in the middle of the two sorta) has mostly $2-3/yd print fabrics with some solids in both stretch knits and solid weave cotton blends.
Each of the stores has an assortment of lace/trims/buttons/etc
Oh in the main store they also sell gloves, fishnet and solid in various colors and lengths.

If you don't see what you're looking for--ASK either the owner or his wife (they're easy to spot, generally manning the phone or cash register)

Nice sales people...this is a little slice of LA-Garment-District right here in San Jose. As per some of the poor reviews - yes...the store is old, yes it's dirty...but FYI - clothing and fabric is filthy when it gets to the consumer no matter where you purchase it from. If you've ever worked retail, you know what I mean.

This is a great store which I found by accident. As usual, select your fabric with caution. Just like other stores, if it looks cheap, it probably is. But they have EXCELLENT garment-district prices for quality fabrics! I have been very happy with every purchase I have made there.

Wonderful selections of stretch fabric.  Some of it is trashy and some good.  If you are looking for 100% cotton quilting fabric...this is probably not the place to visit.  Need home decorating, stretch, silks, or cheap nylons - and more - this is the place.  Stop by their stores (there are two in the same location) first.  It's worth the drive.

I didn't mention the trims, tassels, and other goodies.  Everything from stretch/elastic lace to heavy drapery trim.  Wonderful selection!  Snaps on tape, elastic, rhinestones, and more!

BTW - I've been there about 6 times now and haven't had any problems with service.  Very nice (never rude to me).  Sometimes I have asked them to repeat what they were saying, but that's just because English seems to be their second language.  No problems with communication for me.

One star off because I wish they had a larger selection of natural fabics (linens, wools, etc).

As with those in the know, you too will see this as a treasure trove and a gem in the rough. Not for the newbie sewers but if you know or somewhat know what you're doing this is the place for you. Be prepared to take your time and you will have fun in the process. BE CULTURALLY SENSITIVE. A smile goes a long way and transcends all language barriers. Yes, there is a language barrier and although I had to ask 5 folks if they sold thimbles, during this process I enjoyed my adventure of going through the jungle of fabrics. BEST PRICES AROUND for silks, knits, upholstery and fabrics for the home. The bolts outside have the lowest prices and although my dream fabric was soiled, the kind attendant gave me this part for free. I also bought a remnant, where at first the attendant became suspicious as I was grabbing for my metal measuring tape (from my see through mesh tote.. I guess she thought I was grabbing scissors & has dealt with some riff raff in her days), as she grabbed my wrist to see what I had & then saw what it was, you could see her shock as she was processing her thoughts & proceeded to use it herself to measure a remnant where she offered to give me 3 out of the 6 yards for free at $3.99 per yard, where this fabric at the more high end stores goes for about $18- $24 per yard & it was totally clean (sweet!).

I was asked several times by attendants if I wanted help and even some who were smaller than me (I'm at 5ft) where grabbing bolts for me and insisted they do it.  These woman might be petite but they are mighty and they work hard. This experience reminds me of some of my shopping excursions overseas, only much cleaner and safer. Yes, some fabrics may be soiled and you will need to be careful as you would with any bargain purchase. This is one of my top two best bargain finds since I moved here from the east bay. YOU CAN'T BEAT THE PRICES!!!

good god, they have so much fabric, it's pretty much spilling out onto the street. they have such a great variety that i immediately thought of fifty million things that i could make. unfortunately, i was looking for something specific for a certain project, and they didn't have the BAM that i needed for my project. but if i wasn't watching my spending, i think i could have bought a few lotta yards.

the place is crammed with fabrics and trims and notions (awesome button selection!), so yeah, it might seem a little messy. but i seriously wish that this was my fabric studio or something. if only i could have all that stuff to use whenever i wanted...

they were pretty busy when i was there, so the workers were all preoccupied with helping people, so i couldn't find out the price for some fabrics, as i was in a rush to leave. but i definitely need to come back for my next project.

why ya gotta be so far?

HUGE selection, great fabrics, cheap prices.

...no organization whatsoever.

However, if you enjoy browsing this is the store to go to. I used to do a lot of costuming, and because of the pricing it became the only fabric store I would go to.

If you're buying a lot of fabric (or even a little fabric) bring cash. I haven't been in a while, but I know they used to give something like a 10% discount if you paid cash.

I like this place and have been to only Eddie's QB and JoAnn's before.  Yeah, a bit of a crowded place but there's a lot of stuff and the square footage belies the amount of stuff there! -- lots of useful assortments like many different zipper types, colors, buttons.  I even found backpack material that was missing from the other aforementioned stores.  The ladies are nice there -- they want to help, but their english isn't great.  Helps to have some example fabrics to better describe what you want.  Nothing stopping you from walking the whole store (takes like 5-10 minutes depending on whether you touch everything) to get a good feel of the layout. Recommended.

WOW! So many bad reviews because people have never shopped at a discount fabric store or been to the fashion district.  Sad. This place is great if you are an experienced sewer and know what you're looking for. The service is a little spotty, but the prices on the fabric are ridiculously low- you gotta make up the difference somehow. I readily shop this spot and don't mind if all the haters miss out. More for me.

Cheap cheap cheap!! It serious is fabrics galore in here. Things can get a little disorganized and messy. Minus 1 star for the really cranky staff. They're not too friendly. Minus another star for disorganization and the dark store. Otherwise, you'll probably find the random type of fabric you're looking for!

Wow, awesome assortment of almost any kind of fabric you can think of.  The store is jam packed with fabrics.  It is sometimes hard to flag down one of the ladies to come help you cut your fabric.  Yup, they have no cutting table.  I try to visit with a certain fabric in mind, otherwise I end up wandering around thinking about all the stuff I could make.

My mom bought some fabric to make a felt blanket. The fabrics are laid outside and possibly a fine film of dirt has formed over them. But it was okay if you're going to wash it when you get home. It is a cheap place to get fabric though. Don't expect to get fabric to make some prom dress.
