A food oasis
At Taylor and Golden Gate
The big lunch special
-----
I was hungry and EZ Pizza delivered the goods. Who knew that I would find a heap of tasty Brazilian food just around the corner of Golden Gate and Taylor Street. The best part is that it's a great value, too. For maximum tastiness, mix together the beans and rice and enjoy your feast.
The only bad thing was that the meters in this part of town cost $3 an hour and I only had enough coins for 31 minutes, but with all the characters lurking about... Uhhh, I don't think I wanted to leave my car there any longer than that anyway. Next time I'll have a friend drive.
I'll definitely be back for some pizza @ EZ Pizza, and I'll be bringing my friends, too. -

A new pizza place that delivers to my place and doesn't charge me for said delivery? Yea! (Yes, I actually said, "yea," and for people who don't know, that's how to spell that word. "Yeah" rhymes with "bah," as in the sound that sheep make. "Yay" is not a word.)
Sorry for the spelling lesson, but seeing people misspell "yea" is almost as annoying as the fact that in the last five years people have been using "impact" when they mean "affect." In general, you shouldn't really use "impact" as a verb. OK, if you're a dentist, you should, at least if you're talking about molars impacting. Otherwise, just use "affect." Let's practice. "The poor economy has really affected me financially." You can also say, "The poor economy has had a financial impact on me," but you shouldn't say, "The poor economy has really impacted me." It makes you sound as bad as you do when you say, "Are you going to the movie with she and I?" (A lot of people use the nominative forms of pronouns because they think it makes them sound more educated, but you actually sound less educated when you use "she" when you should use "her" and "I' when you should use "me.")
In case you haven't noticed yet, I'm running out of things to say about pizza places because I've reviewed so many of them. EZ Pizza is good. The crust and ingredients are fresh. It's delicious the next day straight out of the refrigerator.Listed in: Consider the Past, Pizzas of San Francisco

While walking in my hood I noticed that someone had opened a new pizza joint. Might as well give it a try and see how it was. First I had to dodge the bums and street whores!
The place was pretty clean inside, typical unassuming pizza joint w/a giant menu hanging from the ceiling. I ordered a pepperoni slice and it was ready in about 3 minutes. The dough was pretty fresh and not too thin, the sauce had the right amount of thickness and spices, and the pepperoni's were decent. Overall pretty good for a slice in the TL and it only set me back $3.
If I get a hankering for pizza in the future I may stop in again. -

The deal is that I saw a flier at my work about EZ Pizza and their Brazilian dishes. After looking at reviews about the good Brazilian food, I ordered the Quarta special (rica, black beans, over roasted beef ribs w/ yucca, salad). My mouth had a celebration when I put the ribs in them. They were succalent, tender and delicous. The yucca was good (just like grandma's) and the rice with vegetables and beans were excellent. The salad, which was a mix of red onions, carrots and tomatos, had an olive oil dressing that was very light and refreshing.
I would definately come here again! :) -

I was exhausted after a long day of conference sessions and sightseeing that I decided to try the local flavor and order a pizza. This was a mistake I made three times in San Francisco. The last time, I ordered from EZ.
I'm used to good Chicago-style pizza. Where I'm from, it's hard to get a bad pizza. But EZ was one of the worst I ever tasted.
Let's start with the grease. Now I appreciate a good, greasy pizza as much as anyone, but the pie I ordered was slathered in it. The sauce was tasteless, the toppings uninspiring, the crust flaccid, and I couldn't eat more than one and a half slices before I gave up finding a decent pizza in SF.
Also, though EZ was only three blocks away from my hotel, it took well over an hour to to deliver to my room.
If you're looking for a good pizza, don't go to EZ. Sounds like they're better off sticking to Brazilian food. -

Had the cheese slice for $2.50. Though they add extra cheese, this was offset by oregano and other spices which gave the pizza a unique zing that I liked.

Ordered a half pepperoni half tomato pizza and tiramisu. What got delivered was a full pepperoni pizza and a HALF EATEN TIRAMISU! Called them up to ask why our tiramisu looked like half eaten poopies and they insisted that it was a "new, homemade place" they were using to get their tiramisu from. Also, they didn't seem to care that they messed up the pizza order either. TERRIBLE DELIVERY SERVICE.

Brazilian food at it's most authentic and delicious. I usually get the white rice with black beans, yucca, and whatever the meat offering is that day. The food is prepared right in front of you by the family that owns and operates the restaurant. This is home-cooking Brazilian style!
