Review Highlights
Full disclosure: I have the pleasure of Dr Higuchi being one of my in-laws. I thought that might account for the exquisite level of service my wife, myself and a buddy of ours received on our first visit to Eye Gotcha, but reading other reviews it seems like everyone here is treated like family. So I feel free to gush a bit.
I'm normally a cheap bastard, so dropping money on high end glasses is out of character. But drop money I did, even though my intention upon entering the shop was simply to say hello. How did this happen? Style, first off. There's not an unstylish pair of glasses in this place. Service is the level you expect from so stylish a place: They take a careful look at the shape of your face, then show you exactly which of the stylish glasses are best suited to you. My wife was the one who actually needed a new pair, but in the midst of helping her Dr Higuchi measured my face, selected a pair of sunglasses from a case along the wall and put them on me. A quick look in the mirror and I was accepting the realization I was about to buy the most expensive pair of sunglasses I'd ever bought because I looked so badass. Thanks, Doc.
Meanwhile my buddy wandered over to an open case, tried on a couple pairs and quickly found one that, in his words made him look better with glasses than without.
By this time Dr Higuchi had sequestered my wife in a back room for an eye exam. She'd already fallen in love with a (you guessed it, unbelievably stylish) pair of frames.
That's how it happened. Walked in to say hi to an in-law, walked out stylin'. The cheap bastard in me has to point out that this is all high end stuff, and priced accordingly. Here you get what you pay for, along with equally valuable assistance in making a good choice for your look. I would never have thought to try on the sunglasses I bought, but Dr Huguchi's eye was unerring, and I look great. Thanks again, Doc.
Another awesome eye exam from Dr. Higuchi! I love the fact that the entire staff always remembers me even when I only come in every two years!
Dr. Higuchi, Aimee, Tim and the entire staff are awesome!

Dr. Gregg (Higuchi) is so awesome! Friendly, thorough and FUN! By far, the best eye exam I have… Read more »
The people who work here are great. I can't speak to the eye exam portion, just to the glasses buying side of things. The sales staff actually did things like measure the distance between my pupils, make recommendations based on facial shape. They also asked questions about how I'd be using the glasses to understand what my needs were.
Then as I looked about the store, other suggestions were brought out until I settled on an amazing pair.
I brought my daughter in a few weeks later and we had the same stellar experience, even though she was only 9 at the time. They really understood how a kid might be rough on glasses and what she might need to make certain they didn't break.
Great follow through and phone calls too!
Just had my first appointment with Dr. Philip Tawil since I last had my eyes examed 2 years ago when I was living in Hollywood. I actually had mistaken this shop with one down the street, got their names mixed up and only realized the mistake when I showed up for my exam. Thankfully they were not going to check my IQ.
The staff was very friendly. I was even running a little bit because of work, yet their offices were conveniently located so that I could ride up there from the Embacadero and be close to a MUNI station. Within my lunch hour, I was able to get up there and get the exam completed with time to spare.
Dr. Tawil was also very friendly (and easy on the eyes which never hurts). He also was a great conversationalist which made the usual boring exam seem like fun. I was nervous because I worried that an increase in blurriness for long distance vision without my glasses meant that my vision was worsening. This is a serious concern for anyone who is living with HIV, like I am, because there is some thought the HIV can affect vision over time even if someone is on meds.
Dr. Tawil, probably because he's located in the Castro, was very aware of the potential relationship between HIV status and any possible effect it can have on vision. That reassured me a great deal. Fortunately, my vision had stayed the same in the past 2 years. He carefully explained that I was probably experiencing eye strain from looking at a computer screen all day in my legal job. He also gave me some good advice on how to reduce that strain.
But because I'm getting older (yes, nearly 40, which I think causes some kind of alert to the age police in the West Hollywood ala "Logan's Run" so I'm glad I now live here), I now have to get reading classes. So I'll be back to their store after I get my eyes dialated, which you can do at a separate appointment, even later into the evenings. That's another plus to this store!
They do take VSP plans as well.
Being a contact wearer for the last 15 years or so, I decided to go back to glasses last year. I'm picky, but I finally found the perfect frames (by Paul Smith) at Eye Gotcha. I get compliments all the time and I'm completely satisfied. Eye Gotcha even replaced the lenses after a year, free of charge.
Recently, I decided to get a second pair of glasses, so I went to Eye Gotcha, picked out some frames, waited a few weeks and went back to pick up the finished glasses. From the moment I put them on, I knew something was off. The lenses almost felt like the wrong prescription, but I was told it probably had something to do with the curve of the lens and my eyes would get used to them. I tried them out over a weekend and the distorted vision and headaches didn't go away. "Great," I thought, "now I'm stuck with them." I took them back expecting store credit or a convoluted return policy, but guess what, Eye Gotcha gave me a refund in full!
Bottom line: The glasses aren't cheap, but the selection & excellent service are reason enough to keep me going back.
Just got back from City Optix on Chestnut, who basically righted the wrong that EG did to some sunglasses of mine. WOOHOO for City Optix!
Onto my review--
Back in Feb., EG tried to replace damaged lenses for me.
What EG needs to be knocked for when dealing with me:
- Losing my lenses
- Giving me lenses that were at least 50% thicker than the originals, even though the prescription was exactly the same
- Arguing with me that thinner lenses weren't possible (which was them-vs-me at that pt., since my original lenses were gone)
- Claiming above impossibility when THE ORIGINAL LENSES WERE PURCHASED FROM E.G. (!!!) And still arguing with me.
- Charging me more to fix them
- Shaving off the curvature, leaving the lenses still thick and quite ugly as the "fix"
And finally...
- Ignoring my written request to rectify this problem
On another set of glasses I got in December, I ordered a gradient tint *based exactly off a floor model*, and my glasses came back with ZERO gradient. I had to come back a week later--a trek from my apt. in Oakland. Honest mistake, but combined with the problems mentioned above, I can't help but think something's wrong.
These are expensive glasses, mind you. I feel like I took a flat tire to get fixed and got a missing wheel--and paid good money for it.
As you can see, EG has many a devout fan. I used to be one. Hugely. It took an equally huge f*ckup to damage this devoutness.
Now, I'm not one to try and put a place out of biz or severely badmouth them off of one bad visit; I've done too much customer service myself to be that heartless. My bad experience w/ EG occurred over at least 3 months, 4 visits and a couple emails. Perhaps I was a fluke! They seem to be pleasing lots of other people, and they served me well many times in the past too. But I am COMPLETELY disappointed now, and I write this review as I would pass on word-of-mouth advice to any friend or acquaintance: Beware, and I will never go to EG ever again.

Great selection of unique frames and very helpful service!
I haven't had an eye exam here yet, so I can't review that.
Really, don't go anywhere else.
The staff is fantastic, the optometrist is fantastic.
Everyone was so patient and helpful, spending SO much time to help me find the perfect frames. Go here!
I can love places and I can LOOOVE places.
When I love a place, I craft a witty review on Yelp and call it a day. When I LOOOVE a place, I craft my witty review AND tell everyone I know about my great experience and insist that they change their produce market/botox injector/hair stylist and start using mine.
Eye Gotcha is one of those places that I looove. After my first experience, I started letting people know "if you don't have an optometrist yet, you should really come here." Why? The people who work here are so chill and down-to-earth. No white coats, No stuffy atmosphere.
So many great moments. How about when I wanted to pick out frames, one of the women approached me and said "what kinda of frames do you like? conservative? fun? different?" and I said "somewhat fun and different" and she replied "okay, let me find 10 or 12 that would look good on you" and immediately ravaged the rows and brought back some awesome choices? As someone who's extremely indecisive, I loved that she made the decisions for me. I would have easily spent 30 minutes looking at frames and not even trying on a single pair.
Or how about my visits with Dr. Tiwil? He's so laid back and easy to talk to. You barely realize you're having an eye exam because you're too busy shooting the shit and joking around.
Eye Gotcha: you got me at hello.
I'm very squeamish about eye exams--as I'm sure many people are--and my most recent eye exam (most recent being probably 3 years ago) was performed by what I considered to be a less-than-stellar doctor. Suffice it to say I dread getting eye exams.
Luckily, when I reluctantly went in for an exam today, Dr. Higuchi made me feel at ease. He's got a great mix of being personable, easy to talk to, while also being completely professional and thorough. I think in a profession like his it's probably hard to strike that balance, but he does it masterfully. I left feeling like I'd gotten a completely thorough and not-rushed exam, all my random questions answered, and feeling like Dr. Higuchi is just plain rad!
One of the best selections I've seen in the city and the staff is amazing, especially that Tim...and Dr. Philip Tawil was great too. I was always a little wimpy when it came to picking out "cool" glasses, but they have cured me. You sit down and they just start bringing them to you--try this, try that. Glasses, I never thought would look good on me, ended up looking amazing. All this service doesn't come cheap though, but they do take VSP.
I just want to put Dr. Higuchi in my pocket.
I have never met a more smiley, jovial, concerned, and most importantly qualified medical professional in my life. He told me things about my eyes that in the 14 years I have been going to optometrists had never once been brought up before. He addressed my family's not so great health history and gave me the heads up on things he wanted to monitor in the future in the off chance that my parent's vision problems are passed down to me.
He was incredibly informative about every step of my examination and told me exactly what he was going to do to me and I don't think I've ever laughed as hard in an eye exam as I did with him.
Not only was Dr. Higuchi great, but his staff was fantastic as well. One of the opticians helped me pick out the perfect pair of Paul Smith glasses and spent over an hour with me making sure everything was absolutely perfect. When I finally picked the glasses up, I was given a giant stack of the best eyeglass cloths ever and was sent happily on my way.
Best. Optometrist. Ever.
I have been going to Eye Gotcha for over a dozen years and I have always found it to be a truly awesome experience. Dr. Higuchi, Karen, Tim, Aimee and the rest of the staff rock! Many of my friends go here (some of whom I have referred) and they have all been met with the same great service and are now happy patients/customers as well. Kudos to all there! Oh, and thank you!
Like they need another outstanding review, the thing is I have been going here for at least 12 years, or 3 boyfriends....current one is a keeper, anyway and never written a review.
Eye Gotcha is the best. Karen is the best. Period. Never had a better Optician Dispenser.
Great selections, amazing service, quality glasses not cheap prices. But worth every dollar.
I first visited Eye Gotcha with the MBGITW when she was looking at new frames. I have never worn glasses, but I went along to check it out. I was so impressed with how friendly and clean everything was that I made an appointment then and there.
Having never had an eye exam, I can't really compare Eye Gotcha to their peers, but as far as a check up goes, the staff was courteous and punctual and Dr. Tawil was relaxed and amiable. Apparently I could benefit from a low prescription so I picked out a pair of frames while I was there. The whole process was fun and well facilitated by the staff.
My eyes suck. I'm talking -9.5 in each eye astigmatism suck. Because of this, I haven't had good luck with eye doctors as they've been too impatient with me as they try to find the EXACT prescription that will give me perfect vision.
Dr. Philip Tawil was that patient eye doctor. Also being extremely nice, he was able to give me several different options and wasn't afraid to give his opinion on type or brand of contacts.
I finally have a brand of contacts that I think will actually be comfortable AND I can see out of them (what a concept!).
Thank you Eye Gotcha!
I've been buying glasses here for years. About 18 months ago I got a pair of mikli's here. They started having problems after about 10 months. One of the arms kept coming off. I went back to Eye Gotcha to have them repair it. They did. But it broke again a few weeks later. The cycle repeated itself 4 times. By the fourth visit I was getting exasperated, but one of the staff there told me this was "perfectly normal with this type of hinge-- if we put in permanent glue, we could never repair or adjust it again". Perhaps, but weekly visits to the store is not my idea of fun.
After a year and a half, they broke for the 5th time and i'd had enough. I went back ready to scream. But there's a happy ending.
Eva, who helped me on this go round, told me straight off this frame was defective and offered to replace it. A week later she called me to say a new replacement frame was ready. She could NOT have been nicer, and had zero attitude. She didn't have to do this-- these frames are very expensive and only guaranteed for a year. I'd been having troubles with them since before the year was up, but it was really up to me to insist on a replacement before the warranty was up, and I didn't do that. So Eye Gotcha took the hit graciously and replaced the frames without batting an eye. To my mind, that's superior customer service and will keep me as a customer as long as I continue to find great frames there (and I can tell you they have a fantastic selection, which is what drew me in there in the first place). It's one thing to offer service like this at Williams Sonoma, where they can afford it; it's another thing for a small business like this to do so.
So, Kudos to Eye Gotcha!
amazing amazing amazing service and selection
love this place
I absolutely love this place. The selection is small but very high quality and sharp. You are not going to find your run of the mill designer (prada, burberry, etc...) crap here. They buy an exceptional selection of much more interesting and individual designs. The sales people here are also exceptional at running through the inventory and picking out what will look good on you.
The downside is that these frames are not cheap. Hard to find something less than $300 and possible to spend something more like $700. Still, there is enough homogeneous crap out there and I love how great of a job this store does.
They were the end of an intense 6 stores in 48 hours all out glasses shopping event to replace my busted frames. Thankfully I can just come back here next time.
Douchey. Lame.
All the frames were reminiscent of Sprockets (the Mike Meyers SNL sketch) and the sales people were a**holes. No one even bothered to help me. I must not have looked wealthy enough. Probably true considering the average frame price was $400.
The quest for decent, reasonably priced frames continues.
I think everyone has already captured what makes Eye Gotcha so awesome, so I'll just post two stories here:
1. When the Theo frame I bought here from my glasses broke 2 years later, both the manufacturer and the Seattle Theo reseller told me to shell out $400 cash for a new pair. Even though I no longer lived in SF, Eye Gotcha *still* made special mail-in arrangements to repair them for a fraction of the cost of replacement. As I was a beginning graduate student at that point with no vision insurance, this really saved my tail.
2. When I wrote through Eye Gotcha's website asking about the possibility of buying one of the awesome cleaning cloths they'd included with my glasses (been looking EVERYWHERE for one like it), Dr. Higuchi *personally* wrote back asking for my address, refused payment, and shipped a bunch off in the mail. Karen even left a personal note apologizing that these may not be the exact same cloths (they're still great).
Eye Gotcha provides such top-tier service that the fact that my glasses and lenses were also exceptional almost feels secondary. This is one of very few companies I could recommend without hesitation for genuinely caring about their customers, rather than just caring about their wallets. I would go back here in a heartbeat.
(I couldn't recommend Theo products, though - they look cool, but their customer service is the antithesis of what make Eye Gotcha great.)
I love love love Eye Gotcha. I hated glasses and thought they made me look dorky until I found Eye Gotcha. They have a great selection of designer glasses and they work with you one-on-one to make sure you find the perfect frames. I've come in a few times to get my glasses adjusted and the staff is really friendly and helpful. The last time I was in there, I asked if they had eyeglass microfiber cloths, assuming they would charge me for them and they just handed over about 7 for free.
I'm happy with my current eye doctor, but no one has the glasses selection they have here and the good doctors get great reviews. I figured I'd make things easier on myself by getting my exams and glasses in one place. Amy called me to explain that it hadn't yet been a year since my last eye exam, but that I just had to call my insurance and ask them for an exception. Exception granted and I'll be there tomorrow for what I'm sure will be another great visit. Yay, Eye Gotcha!
(07-12-2004) 01:32 PDT San Francisco, Calif. (RJ) --
Authorities say one man sustained minor retinal damage in what appears to be another gang-related rubber band war at the workplace.
San Francisco authorities state that Monday night's shooting occurred at about 4:30PM--right before closing hours--- and that one man suffered temporary retinal damage at the scene.
Authorities state that HR Department Executives are looking for one or possibly two suspects (Matt, you jackass), who are believed to be rubber band gang members.
There have been at least two apparent rubber band gang-related shootings in the SF workplace over the past three weeks.
It was reported that the victim whose name was withheld cried like a pansy all the way to the Eye Gotcha Boutique located in the Castro.
The victim who's initials are RJ, stated that "Eye Gotcha was a positive experience...they took an embarrassing situation and made me feel
comfortable...their customer service was nonpareil...when I was able to regain my vision, I noticed that they had top notch frames here and I would definitely come back...all thanks to Dr. Higuchi..."
As of March 10, 2008 the suspects (Matt, you jackass) have not been found.
Since moving to SF in '99, I had been going to various eye doctors trying to find someone who I felt really knew their stuff, would take the time to examine me carefully, and really listened to me. Finally, a few years ago, I found Dr. Philip Tawil purely by coincidence. He is the best possible combination of knowledgeable, skillful, thoughtful, and just plain super-nice. The only bad thing about eye exams with Dr. Philip is that they only happen once a year!
Also, it's true what the other reviewers have said both about the available selection of frames AND the expert advice on what to choose. I've been wearing glasses since I was 5, and throughout my adult life have been choosing my frames myself. No one ever commented on my frames (no doubt adhering to the "if you don't have something nice to say, don't say anything at all" philosophy). Never, that is, until they helped me choose new frames last year. A pair of ic! berlin frames that cause even random people to approach me to tell me they look great.
I believe it was Karen who helped me, and it went like this: I told her what I do for a living (real estate agent, so need to look professional), she went around the store collecting frames for me (no need for me to tag along "helping"), brought about 5 back and told me that these would all look stylish but not too over-the-top. I loved that I didn't have to wander around the store on my own looking for the right pair. She just brought them all to me, narrowing my choices from like 1,000,000 pairs of glasses to 5. The choice was easy, and now everyone thinks my glasses look great.
So now I know that I must leave things to the professionals and let the folks at Eye Gotcha help me select my frames. For both eye exams and frames, there's simply no reason to go anywhere else in SF. Fantastic!
I visited another optometrist and she proclaimed I had perfect vision.
I was still getting headaches while reading and falling asleep. Dr Tawil did a much more thorough eye examination which resulted in me getting reading glasses.
DOPE reading glasses. I absolutely love my frames.
They fit my face perfectly.
I felt very nurtured and now I feel super book-smart and sexy while I'm lounging around the house headache-free reading my latest harlequin romance ;)
Yay for healthy eyes, stylish frames and wonderful service/healthcare/selection.
Incredibly friendly, fast and helpful staff, really cool lights in the ceiling, cozy atmosphere, and service with a smile. Store always looks good from the street, which is nice. It's the cool place on Castro Street to get your eyeglasses. I love the decor.
I've been a patient of Greg for longer than i can recall seems like at least ten years.
In addition to providing excellent and friendly service i find everyone there helpful whenever i have a small emergency, or need a pair of frames adjusted.
The best part is that the store is only as big as you need - and still has enough things in it that when the time comes for new frames, there are too many choices.
Way to go.
if this seems like a copy of another review, it is because it hit on every one of the details of my experience with all the named individuals. For me its been ten years of consistently genuine approach to directing people thru the entire process.
" It's one of the best Optometric places I've had the chance to deal with, and I've worn glasses all of my life. They have a great assortment of frames and the staff (I love Eva!) really takes a lot of time with you and assists you in your decision making. And last but not least, Dr. Gregg Higuchi is SO nice, SO funny, and SO sexy! I could stare into HIS eyes all day long! Try them out, you won't regret it!"
I am healing now thanks to the proper medical attention I received @ EYE GOTCHA. My precious eye is lacerated due to the overuse of contact lenses, lack of hydration and oversight.
Sometimes you don't realize how sacred your health is. We bombard and abuse our organs without even knowing the consequences. What would the world do without doctors?
DR. HIGUCHI YOU ROCK!!! THANK YOU FOR TAKING CARE OF ME.
Always,
Lea
P.S.
Now I get to garden, play, and cuddle with my kitties for 5 days...YAY =)!!!

A friend of mine swears by this place for the best eye glass selection. I like my eye doctor but didn't love the glasses I got last year so when it was time for a replacement I went here.
At first i didn't see any glasses as I was wandering around but they sat down with me, looked at my face and started bringing out frames that fit. Definitely a good place for women's frames, too. I have a small and really hard to fit face and they found two pairs that fit. And they are COOL. One of 'em is steel and virtually unbreakable. really great staff, really friendly and really helpful. Definitely recommend!
EYE don't even NEED glasses ... Mom & Dad blessed me with perfect vision ... but Eye Gotcha has such great frames and such great customer service (Karen has a great eye for what looks good) that even EYE got sucked in for a pair of Paul Smith spectacles in the coolest case ever.
(EYE always wondered, can an employee subscribe to their employer's Vision Plan and purchase frames through the plan if (s)he has perfect vision??? EYE didn't think that far ahead, so EYE paid full price for my glasses, but most people get coverage through their Vision Plans.)
Kudos, too, to the leather dude who was there when EYE picked up my clear-optical-quality-glass-lenses in the oh-so-cool nerdy frames. He kept looking at the ticket, trying to find the prescription numbers. Then he looked through the glasses, looked straight at me, and said, "WHY did you get these?" EYE cocked my head suggestively and looked back at him, "Because EYE like glasses. EYE'm going for the librarian look." He checked and adjusted the frames, jokingly asked if EYE could read a store sign across the street, and then gave me directions to the Castro library. The LIBRARY!!! Now, if that isn't great customer service!
I love this store!
I've been a happy customer since 1998. The frame selection is awesomely hip and staff is very helpful. They try to find the right frames to fit your face and I've been pleased with their recommendations. I really enjoy talking with Rik and Karen. They can tell you everything about their eyewear and throw in a witty joke for good measure. In addition, Dr. Higuchi is a true professional.
I always recommend this place to my friends and go back for new frames whenever possible.
I was stoked about this place when I found out they take VSP. Then I went to their store, and their prices even without insurance were lower than any other store that carries high-end brands. So big ups to Eye Gotcha for competitive pricing for an independent store.
More big ups because when I walked in, this lady looked at me and said, "I really like your glasses. Cool frames! I'm on my way out but Eva here will help you." Now, you have to understand that I've gone to a lot of frame stores in the past month or so, and no one has EVER complimented my current pair of frames (even though they are pretty fabulously super-hip). Am I being a sucker? Yes, but I don't care: friendly should count for something.
So I sit down, and Eva picks out two frames right away, one of which I love (a Mykita metal frame). She picked out about 15 more after that, but she really had it right the first time. So more props for having salespeople with a good eye. Also, she was nice when I explained that my insurance wouldn't cover new frames until January 1: she went behind the counter and wrote down all the info on the frames so I could come back in the new year (which I probably will). This seems like a simple thing, but a lot of places are shady about it because they don't want you finding the frames cheaper over the internet (which, BTW, I tried to do but couldn't because Eye Gotcha has good prices. See how it pays to just have reasonable prices in the first place?).
The one thing I don't like about this place is the setup; all the glasses are locked up which makes it look more sterile than it already does (the decor is kind of TOO colorful, which ends up making it sort of look like an awkward cross of funhouse-y and museum-y), and the picnic benches you're supposed to sit on are kind of weird. But whatever, 5 stars anyway for a great value, friendly and helpful staff, and stylish selection.
Oh la la!
An amazing selection of glasses (ic! berlin & Mykita, just to name a few), super friendly and knowledgeable staff (they manage to remember my name every time I walk in, lord knows how) and Dr. Gregg is thorough and very personable during exams.
I've purchased two pairs of glasses from them over the years - I sometimes bring them in for adjustment and cleaning, with never a hesitation from the staff.
My vision plan isn't accepted here (I blame my work), but I'm still willing to shell out the extra $$ to come here for eye exams.
Bravo!
Best collection of Alain Miklis in the city.
Need I say more?
I've been coming to Eye Gotcha for my optical needs and eye exams for over 10 years now and I haven't been disappointed.
Dr. Higuchi and the rest of the staff are wonderful and do a great job with helping picking out the most awesome frames that are stylish and timeless as well as fit well and appropriately for my face shape.
Yes - the frames can cost a lot but they last so much longer and you'll be happier. :) They have a good range of frames to choose from.
I've been buying glasses here for more than 10 years. Dr. Gregg is personable and thorough. The staff (Karen, Tim, Eva and others) is friendly, attentive and helpful. The selection of frames is way cool. I've been known to buy glasses here that I don't really need.
If you can, have Karen help you pick your frames -- she has a great eye for what looks good and won't hesitate to tell you if a look doesn't work for you (sort of the optical equivalent of answering the question "do these jeans make my a** look big?").
Love it. I get compliments on my frames all the time from random strangers. One or two big sales a year. Great selection and maybe something you like will be on sale when you stop in especially if you're a lady cuz they don't get so many of the ladies in here. Dr. H. will eval your eyes with a smile.
Super helpful staff and there's no need to ever go anywhere else for glasses. That would be a big waste of time.
I've been wearing glasses since I was 5, and I've never left an eye exam smiling... 'til today. It's something I've just done annually and am grateful it's nothing like the dentist. My past optometrists have mostly shared that opinion and raced though exams like my cat to her feeder. But Dr. Higuchi actually seemed to enjoy his job-- it was a shocking experience. Like everything I've believed was suddenly brought into question (...maybe pork really isn't the other white meat?...) He was friendly, patient (because after awhile, #1, #5, and #6 really do all look the same...), and answered every question I could summon. So 5 stars just based on the exam.
Then Karen showed me every pair of glasses in the store, but alas, I couldn't find any suitable frames. So she then suggested I try elsewhere and recommended a few places. Too bad. If glasses weren't so expensive and critical to my daily well-being (and wardrobe), I would've bought something there just to support their business. So go! and bring all your male friends. I think their frames cater to male customers, surprise surprise.
I think this is the best eye exam I've ever had! Dr. Philip is very thorough and proffessional but also very personable and warm. The staff is also friendly and helpful which makes the expereince that much better.
I would highly recommend this office to anyone who is looking for friendly, helpful service...with a smile.
