I purchased this room via priceline for less than 50 bucks so I wasn't expecting a luxury hotel. This was a typical hotel room, but since it was an extened stay it had a kitchenette attatched, cool, didn't use it though.

I have stayed at other extended Stays and the rooms have been average to a little larger and "luxurious".  The bed however, was hard like a rock.  I hate hard beds so the comfort level wasn't too good sleeping.

The night guy at the desk was super nice and helpful.  The only things I have negative to say about this place was that you could hear the metro and the socket in the bathroom didn't work, there was plently of other outlets in the room to accommodate our, straightners, blow dryer, and charger needs.

All in all It wasn't a terrible place, I've stayed in worse places.

Stayed in the area for work for a day. I got an OK price through AAA as opposed to booking through http://Hotels.com or Expedia like I usually do (92 per night + taxes). Usually I stay at the Courtyard Marriott right next door, but for the same night it would have cost me ~180.

When I got there, the girl at the front desk was very nice and she let me check in a couple hours early. Gave me a room on the fourth (top) floor and then proceeded to tell me that the elevators were down so I had to take the stairs. Great. Hauled my tired just-got-off-work ass, and bags up four floors of stairs and turned left because she told me to turn left. I guess her sense of direction got flipped because apparently I was supposed to turn right. Whatever. Walked down the smelly hall to my room. The room itself is OK, good size, had a little kitchen area and full-size refrigerator even though I didn't use them. There was a little wadded up piece of tissue on the floor though which I thought was pretty nasty. I go to turn on the lights over the workstation and see something dark on the wall. Low and behold, there's a squished mosquito on the wall-- THAT I didn't even bother to touch. Needless to say, I didn't use the workstation. No sound-proofing on the windows whatsoever. The damn train sounds like it's running right through the room.

The elevators eventually did get back up and running and when I stepped in there, I debated whether I should just take the stairs again (I opted not to though since I was too exhausted). The elevators smelled horrible and creaked & squeaked so much that I thought it would break down again with me in it. Should I also mention it's probably one of the slowest elevators I have EVER been in?

I myself have had better luck at Quality Inn about a couple miles away. But if you're planning on booking here, my recommendation is to do so ONLY if you need a kitchen that you intend to use and don't want to spend TOO much money. And be sure to bring ear plugs. And Lysol or air freshener.

Have you ever wondered what it would be like to have the sound of a train rattling through your 2am slumber? No? You like sleep? Then don't stay here.

I had relatives in town and while the Marriot was jammed packed they opted to stay next door at the Extended Stay. They were better off sleeping in their cars.

Not only did they ask for a non-smoking room, they were given a room that smelled like a smoke bong party went on before they arrived. Yeah you heard me. Smoke-Bong-Party! To add insult to injury the kitchen area was dirty, the beds were super rough, kitchen utensils were super gross and did I mention the train?!?!

Fed up with nothing being right they called Marriot and found out someone had their reservations canceled so they pulled camp and moved next door. You think we're out of the woods yet? Don't count on it. My sister accident left her camera in the room. When she phoned the front desk to notify them they were told no camera was found in the room.

Let's review:
Train wakes you up at 2am
Non smoking room really IS a smoking room
Hard beds
Nothing maintained
Employees like to steal stuff

I had no idea this chain of hotels allowed pets until I saw a little pomeranian and a shih-tzu being walked by an old lady while I stayed at another Extended Stay in Orange County.

We remembered this when we decided last minute to go southbound for NYE weekend and decided to take my bf's dog down with us.

Each room is stocked with a full sized fridge, microwave, sink, and a stove so if you decide to cook rather than eat out at the local Olive Garden or the Panda Express nearby. When we arrived, we were allowed to check in at noon rather than at 3 at no additional cost AND the front desk didn't charge us an additional fee for the dog.

Lastly, the place was pretty clean (well at least from what we were able to determine with our naked eye) and we didn't find a surprise pubic hair in between the covers which was actually quite nice.
