Very poor room to stay in.

The bed was uncomfortable - not firm and it felt cheap.

The walls were very thin.  I was woken up in the morning by a businessman who was either a) talking on the phone in his room or b) in the hallway talking on his phone.  Either way, I was surprised as to how thin the walls were.

There was no shampoo or conditioner provided like most other hotels.

The remote control for the TV didn't work.

The hotel itself is a little difficult to find - it's hidden away behind the Lazy Dog Cafe.

I believe it was 70-80 a night, which is much cheaper than the place down the road on Katella, which quoted me at 120/night.

Cheap but you get what you pay for.

I don't know why this place got bad reviews, I loved it! 1st of all it was a mile away from Disneyland The happiest place on Earth! We stayed two nights here; it is in a huge ass parking lot with movie theaters, plenty of stores, and restaurants, all in walking distance.

It was a nice spot, when we got there it was around 8pm on St Patty's day we went to this Irish Pub in the same parking lot. It was coo we got our drank on, it was a great environment, nice ass people and we had a blast. Then when it was closing time we walked back to the hotel, no drunk driving or Designated Driver for us, it was perfect.

The Hawaiian/Samoan women who checked us in was so sweet and very helpful told us everything we needed to know and some. Inside there was a microwave, refrigerator, coffee pot, sink, and desk for your laptop. It was a good size for a great price! It was only $36 a night, that's a steal and our room was clean, comfortable, and just right for us.

The air conditioner was a little loud but you can blast the TV or do something else to distract from the noise (ya feel me, hehehe). Oh and I don't think there was a blow dryer but I didn't ask either so it was all G-double-O-D (good). Anyway I liked it here and I give it 4 stars for overall service, presentation, price and area.

Now I am no stranger to cheap accommodations.  I've stayed at places without hot water, places without their own bathrooms, places with only a ceiling fan when it was unfathomably hot, etc. But I guess I should qualify that by saying that I normally stay in places like that in 3rd world countries.

I always use priceline when booking a room near Disneyland. If I was going on cost alone, $35/night during a peak travel time (between Christmas and New Years) is not bad at all... But that's where the good ends.

The room smells musty and moldy. The kitchen seems clean, but they provided no dish soap or sponges to clean the dishes with. The tap water is completely undrinkable, and even boiling the water didn't seem to help.

As for the beds, if you like hard beds, well then you might like this place, but for me, it was super uncomfortable and I woke up with a backache. The pillows are non-existent.

It's basically a half step above Motel 6. Compared to the Candlewood Suites, where priceline usually sends me, this place sucks. They could seriously use an upgrade on the linens and beds, and this place might warrant 2/2.5 stars instead of 1. But at the end of the day you get what you pay for, and again, for $35/night, it's not a bad deal, but I would definitely not stay here again or recommend this place to anyone I actually like.

The price was definitely right. That makes it a big positive. It was also immaculately clean in the kitchen and bathroom.

Here are my issues. The air conditioner was really loud. I was placed into a smoking room, though I requested a non-smoking room. To appologize, they comped me my wireless access, which was very slow.  They also put me in a bigger room.  That was a nice gesture, but I really hate being put into a smoking room, as I feel gross the next day.  The sheets and blankets in the room had a cigarette burn through them, which highlights the smoking issue. That dropped the place from being a 3 star hotel.
