I stayed here 3 years in a row. My experience has always been very good here. I usually stayed 3 weeks at a time here.
As far as service and price it is 5 stars.
The rooms were kept very clean and the area was safe.
The pricing was great. I think at the time I paid about $35 per night.
They have free high speed internet (cable plug in)
Midvale is very centrally located to many places. 35 minutes to Park City, 25 minutes to Alta/Snow bird (just 5 minutes from the Alta/Snowbird Exit)
So if you are looking for really basic accomodations that are not to far from the mountains this is the place to go.
