They are also near a business center that offers:
Furnished office with phones and much more. It's at California Business Center about 3/4 miles away.
Wow. I am generously awarding this "joint" one star simply because it was a slightly better experience than sleeping in the parking lot would have been.... I think.
You can tell where you are on the pecking order in my family by whether or not you are given a place to sleep at Gram's during the annual family reunion fiasco. Apparently, I rank just below every other relative in my extremely large (they're mormons) family and just above um... well, I can't think of anything. Oh well.
Needless to say, I needed a freaking motel room- and you know I did not feel like forking out any kind of serious dough just for the fam reunion... which brings me to my review of "Extended Stay America Fairfield- Napa Valley". What a dump.
Arriving late from the freaking weanie roast and hide-and-go-seek-in-the-dark match, the lobby was locked. I had to bang on the door a few times until some broad who apparently worked there (she had been sitting on the curb chain smoking watching me bang on the damn door for three minutes before finally letting me in). They give me the key for my reserved non-smoking room. The room was smokier than a damn underground speak-easy. Upon complaining, I was given a new room. This room, relatively speaking, was much less smoky. Whatever. But the bathroom floor was incredibly sticky, the bed like lumpy rock- who knew this could even happen? And the clincher..... CRUSTY CHUNKS OF SMEARED BLOOD ALL OVER MY PILLOWCASE. gulp.
In short, I should have saved my money, swallowed my pride and slept on my Grandma's front yard... or even in my car parked at my Grandma's house.. a demonstration of sorts.
