I stayed here for about 8 days when I first relocated to the SJC. Overall, it's in a nice residential/light office park location (not seedy) This hotel definitely has some pros and cons, however. Keep in mind that these are my opinions.

PROS:

- Competitive rates, particularly when you book online.

- Very close to Milpitas Town Center, so grocery shopping at Safeway is easy access. There are also some great coffee shops around that area, so you can hang out there.

- Close to I-680 and I-880, companies like Sandisk, Cisco, Seagate, etc.

- Ample parking in a well-lit lot.

CONS:

- Overall fit and finish is good, but the bed in my room had torn fabric on the box springs.

- Wireless Internet - they say it's "many times faster than dialup". However, I think the dialup they refer to is 9600 bps. It's slow as dirt and you have to re-authenticate every day. I had to go to nearby coffee shops to get an internet connection that wasn't totally unusable for anything other than using web-mail. My corporate VPN crawled, and the VPN server is located 3 miles away!

- Desk staff, while friendly, are absolutely awful at proper billing. They overcharged me by $150 (they didn't apply my promotion code and a coupon I had for a free night) and when I called them on it,  they had a "deer in headlights" look. I had to wait 3 hours to get a manager to fix it. I had to go from my new place in N. San Jose to their hotel to pick it up - very inconvenient.
