Methinks not is right on the money!

WOW. Definitely a waste of money staying here. Ironically we had booked online because of the kitchen amenities in-suite (which we ended up not even using), and the affordable rates for an extended stay. At the time we stayed, average rates were $120+/night everywhere, and this was one of the "best values" going at $100/night. If I could do it over again though, I'd have paid the extra $20+ and booked elsewhere.

NO essentials provided in suite such as:
- blow dryer (good thing I packed my own)
- dish soap and sponge for the kitchen
- shampoo or conditioner in shower
- trash can (except for in bathroom)
- extra blankets or pillows
- a comfortable bed

Concierge was useless; I called to request additional pillows and blankets because the bed was hard as a rock, and I was desperate for anything to try to alleviate it. They said they had NO spare blankets or pillows. WTF, are you kidding me? What kind of hotel does not have a linen closet FULL of spare blankets or pillows? She then proceeds to ask if I would like her to put in a "word" for the morning maid to bring by fresh blankets. Uhh, NO cuz we're checking out in the morning, idiot. Take your "word" and shove it.

Tenants were seedy-looking. When we first checked in, we were greeted with the sounds of an argument between a couple and what looked to be a supervisor of some sort. From what bits and pieces I heard, I believe they had made a mess in the room and refused to pay for it.

It was conveniently located off the freeway, with a Chevron gas station, Starbucks, and M&M's Soul Food joint in the same plaza. I guess that was the only good thing I could say about it. Otherwise, it's not the best part of town and I wish we had Google-Mapped the location before we booked.
