You see, the Executive Inn is a bar, live music venue, and hotel. Once a year this bar hosts thousands of hairdressers from all over the south. There are more girls with extreme shades of hair coloring then you could possibly count.
The rest of the year, it is a kind of redneck biker bar with a country western theme that is campy enough to be worth seeing.

Very odd place, gigantic, but dead. Huge hotel, giant rooms, cool riverview balcony rooms. Place is old, has character, but again, has a dead atmosphere. It is like a mile long from one end to the other. There is two pubs inside the place, both also kinda dead, but an experience indeed.
I stayed at this place twice over the span of two summers. We had to play baseball tournaments in Paducah, and we stayed here. The hotel is huge, for one. It was one of the biggest I had seen at the time. The staff seemed friendly, and there were several shops inside the place. The breakfast they had there was great... or maybe it was just because my teammates and I were all hungover and starving that next morning... either way it was cheap and good. Not sure about priceyness here because we didn't pay. But it was a good hotel.
