I'd never had a tree removed before. These guys were quick to show up, fast to get the job done, and definitely seemed to know what they were talking about. I don't have a lot of trees on my property but if I did, I would be sure to use them again.
I revised my review to 5/5 because they followed up really professionally after the work. My friend was telling me about the nightmare he had with his "arborist" so I'm really impressed with Evergreen -

No stars here. I am suspicious of 1. People coming to your home door to door and trying to sell you things. I know times are tight,but I prefer to call you. 2. I am also wary of people to leave flyers with no local numbers just a 1-800 number.
So here is my story.
A few weeks ago I was schooled in all the ways arborist. No I didn't sit for the test,I found out that a person representing themselves as an arborist is not.
I called the ISA. You can too. Make sure when the person comes out they bring their card. Get the number (at the end it will have an "A")
Call the ISA and make sure!
When you have the work done on your property,make sure the certified arborist is on site. Yeah maybe not all the crew will be certified,but one person must be.
So today,someone from Evergreen Tree Care came out and tried to give/beat my quote from another tree care service.
A door salesperson assured me that a certified arborist was coming out. The man they sent was not. He told me and I quote," No I'm not certified,I do this all the time and besides the test is too hard."
I said," well,if you do this all day,the test should be easy for you"
And I bid him good day.
Then, his boss calls me and asks me why they can't do the quote and how people don't need to be certified. I was like WTF?
I told him if you really care about your business you will make sure that the representatives who come out are certified. So what, the man does this day in and day out,he thinks taking a test to be a certified arborist is "too hard". Then his supervisor danced around the issue and said something like," well the test is held in different places and its hard for people to get there."
Well its not hard for you to come out and try to bamboozle my ass!
Basically kids,he was trying to hustle and hustler and mama was not having it.
So if you really need work done,please call yourself. Make sure if someone comes out to do the work,they are certified. Ask for their card. Do a check and stop letting these folk take you.

Evergreen took care of some pine trees that needed trimming and were starting to lean toward the power lines. They stuck to their bid and got the job done. Not much more I could ask from them. It was pretty impressive watching them do the work some 30 feet in the air. Wouldn't catch me up there. I'd recommend their services if you need some tree work done.
