I don't golf. My dad does. Therefore whenever I am in a jam and need a gift for the most important man in my life, Evergreen is my saving grace.
The course, lounge, and gift shop are all landscaped beautifully and fresh and clean looking. The party room (they can hold wedding receptions as well) has an amazing view (check out the website, really).
They have a huge parking lot, and golf carts as far as the eye can see, or as dad calls them, "all the soldiers waiting for battle".
The staff is amazing, and they remember and know their avid golfers. I can call them up, order my gift card, they will look up his info and suggest what gift package to get, and mail it directly to the lakehouse for me so pops has a surprise waiting when he goes up on the weekend.
On our most recent trip we wanted to get him a "thank you" for letting me bring a gaggle of my alcoholic friends for a weekend of boating and drinking. They told me when he was coming in to golf that weekend, and set me up with a gift card for the greens fees and cart.
