Review from Ray S.

I've had a ton of work this year, including 3 crowns, and just wanted to reiterate how happy I am that Dr. Ybee is my dentist.
I've recently had a lot of gum issues that required a deep cleaning, not a pleasant process. But made tolerable by knowing I'm going to get great care. Dr. Ybee was very compassionate and didn't criticize my flossing habits (my last dentist seriously did that).
I recently sent a friend to Dr. Ybee. After her appointment, she texted me: "I love her!"
So there you go. If you don't think you could ever love your dentist, go see Dr. Ybee.1 Previous Review: Show all »

Doctor Ascough is by far the best dentist I've had. They really pamper you, their prices are good and their work is excellent. Unfortunately I have been to lots of dentists, but the experience here is definitely as good as it gets! From the movies they let you pick out and watch to all the employees personalities and kindness, really good customer service (explaining all work and their billing policies without seeming condescending). I even had trouble with my insurance company trying to deny a very large bill but Doctor A and her team (The A-team, haha) went to bat for me and we worked it out. They really went above and beyond to help me out. Highly recommended.

Terrible experience right from the beginning. Suggested about $300 in work and jaw surgery which I don't need. Don't waste your time! Their level of care was made completely clear after the dentist made some comments to me during my brief 10 minutes with her, big mistake coming here!

Dr. A is by far the best dentist in S.D. For myself I have had a lot of work done and most of it was Dr. A fixing the work of awful dentist of the past. Her office staff is always working hard and completely reliable. They have a great schedule and keep such practical hours that it's hard to not find a good time to come in.I also appreciate the honesty and upfront discussions of cost and procedures.
I have recommended Dr.A to many people only to hear the same great things I already knew. Even just waiting in the office is a pleasant experience. Do not wait!! Get an appointment, end the suffering of anxiety ridden appointments and get in with Dr.A's great practice. -

The staff, as well as Dr. Ascough, are extremely funny and nice. I had to make several visits (ate too much candy when I was younger) and the entire office was always polite and helpful.
I also like watching movies on their computer monitor during visits. -

Dr. Ybee's office is unlike any dentist's office I've been to. They are so on top of staying in touch with their patients, and everyone there you speak to seems to know something about you and be genuinely interested in what's going on in your life. It's a little weird at first but pretty cool. They have some great technology that lets you view your teeth "live" and they can show you your problem spots and cavities. Records are also all digital, and while they're cleaning you get to watch DVDs! It started with my sister in law and now we tell everyone we know to visit her.

*Forgot to mention that she has a closet full of movies that you get to choose from so that you can watch them on an overhead tv while comfortably reclined on your barcalounger/dentist chair. So far, I've started Star Wars ep IV, Devil Wears Prada and Will Ferrell's Best of SNL (tip: your mouth is gaping wide open, so maybe skip the comedies to prevent from laughing out spittle and other unsightly particulates). Dr. Ascough is so good at her job, tho, that she'll be done before you can finish the movie. Nevertheless, it's a great way to pass the time, much better than making constellations out of the holes in the ceiling tiles.
