1 review for Eva Perry Regional Library
This is one of the two best libraries in the county. It's huge, especially when you compare it to some of the other libraries in the area which amount to basically single rooms. The shelves are well stocked and feature books from genres that aren't nearly as well represented in other libraries in Wake County.
Eva Perry's main strength is in its selection--they have one of the most complete collections in the area. If you're looking for a New York Times Best Seller, chances are good that they have more than a few copies, although often new and popular books are due back in 7 or 14 days instead of the typical month plus. This can be a good thing if you're waiting for it to get back in stock, but not such a good thing if you're a slow reader.
For area libraries, the only thing that you'll find that even comes close to rivaling Eva Perry is the library at Cameron Village in Raleigh. If you're like me and don't feel like driving through the middle of the city during the day, you can head out to Apex and still find a wonderful, well stocked library that rivals anything in the city.
