WORST Spa experience ever. I would not even call it a spa. It is some hideous throwback to the 70's office space. I was hoping to have a nice spa experience with nice spa smells and sounds, but the whole place looked and smelled weird. I too wish I had read these reviews first!
I went for an hour massage and decided to add a 30 minute hot/cold whirlpool experience, or so I thought. The web site described this to be 30 minutes with Hawaiian music, candles, and herbal iced tea. It said the whirpool was state of the art. So when she lead me back to a BATHTUB in a weird 70's looking small bathroom I was speechless. Ok, it did have jets and she put some bubbles in it but???... My fault totally for even getting in. Plus, NO music, no candles, no tea, just a weird tub in an ugly overlit bathroom. I thought I was in some weird time warp bad dream! NOT relaxing, but I thought the hot water and jets may get me ready for a better deeper massage so I went with it and figured I would say something about missrepresentation on the web later, which I did when I came out after about 10 minutes cause I was grossed out and mad at myself for even getting in.
I hated the room that the massage table was set up in. No music, no nice spa smells, and wierd old 70's looking sheets. However, it was when I pulled back the sheets and saw some little black hairs on them that I high tailed it out of there! Maybe she was a good masseuse, but I wasn't sticking around to find out!
Oh, by the way, she had made me pay first, which I thought was weird. I have never paid before a massage before. Thank God she gave me my cash back for the massage. But, I had paid for the whirlpool/bathtub and tip with credit, so I lost that.  I did make the huge mistake of even going in, so that was my bad.
I was hoping for a nice spa day to ease my hurting back and exaustion. I left traumatized having wasted money and was now even more stressed hoping I don't catch anything from that horrible place.
THINK TWICE before even consider this place for anything spa related!!!! Or at least go check it out in person first to see if it suits you. NOT my idea of a nice spa day AT ALL!

This place has got to be the worst! I got a gift certificate to here for a Christmas gift.  I was gifted a 3 hour package, magically she was able to dwindle that down to 1 hour and 10 minutes and have the audacity to promptly kick me out after.

Besides being ripped off.. this place is not for the self-conscious.  She, the owner and masseue, walked in on me in the shower not once, not twice, but three times.

Also,  i happened to have a zit on my forehead the day I went.. big mistake going.  Apparently she was trying to sell me products however all she accomplished was insulting me multiple times about my "bad skin."

With all the options in this area, please PLEASE please take my word for it and go somewhere else.

DO NOT GO HERE!!!! HERE IS WHY:
I wish that I would have looked here before I made an appointment with Malih, the owner. I had a horrible breakout on my face due to stress and anxiety and wanted to get a glycolic facial to kill the bacteria in my skin. I only had one day off and could not get an appointment anywhere else, so I called Ethereal Spa. Malih said that she could get me in that afternoon. No wonder she had the time, she must not have many customers. When I got there, it took forever for her to come up to the front of the spa. She put me in a room that had a bed draped with old musty blankets and told me to lay down and she'd be right in. Ten minutes later she came in and in a hurry started the facial. During the treatment, she left 5-6 times juggling each room that had other other waiting customers. Once it was over, I went to the front to pay. In my insecure state of mind because my face was so broken out, she talked me into this "magic cream" that she made to help my skin heal which she charged me $50 for. When I got in my car, I opened the small container of what smelled like Crisco and perfumed lotion. I was desperate so I didn't think anything of it. After washing my face that night and applying the cream as she directed me to, I felt like my pores were being suffocated and I immediately washed my face again. I had the next morning I called Malih and explained to her that I was not satisfied with the cream and she said that I could bring it back to her for a refund or exchange for other services. I attempted to go there many times to return it to her, but she was never there. She would never return my phone calls either. I gave up after months of trying and decided to just take it as a lesson learned. I should've listened to that little voice telling me to leave as soon as I got there. I HOPE THAT THIS CAN HELP ANYONE WHO SEES THIS! MALIH IS A CON-ARTIST!!!

I agree with above. The owner is ridiculous. I went there to get my hair dyed from brown to blonde. I now have red hair with massive bleach stains where she missed when applying the hair dye. Also, my hair is not only crooked, but six different lengths. When I asked the owner for a partial refund, she refused saying that she "works for her money and I cannot come back unless I want her to fix it." She also stated that I would have to pay for the fixing of what she did! Outrageous. I would NEVER reccommend this salon to anyone.

Ok, let's just say creepy. My coworkers purchased a gift certificate for me as a going away present. Well, 18 months later and I was back in the state to use it. I booked an appointment for a friend and I to get massages. We arrive and I get escorted to another office across a courtyard and my friend stayed at the spa. My massage was great. Unfortunately, when I went back to pick up my friend she said that she felt like she should have at least gotten dinner! She said that Malih made her very uncomfortable with the way she touched her and complimented her...said she felt more like she was being caressed than massaged! I think I still owe my friend a shopping trip to Macy's after that visit. Malih was nice enough, just wouldn't recommend that experience to anyone. (Of course this was awhile ago, so maybe things have changed)
