3 reviews for Ester Lee Motel
One of Ester Lee Motel's Favorite Reviews What's This?
This is a very cool place to stay. It's a classic Motor Hotel from the old days that has been updated over time.
I've only been there once, but I will go back the next time I need a weekend get-away.
The best part is the cottages that overlook the beach, about 50 feet above it. They have kitchens, gas fireplaces, big windows, and some have hot tubs.
It's not fancy, but it's not expensive either.
Check out the web site and I hope you get a chance to spend some time there.

Okay, so the place looks a little like the hotel in Vacancy. Like others have said, somewhat like something you'd see in a Hitchcock flick. But don't let that fool you! Behind its tough exertrior lies a hidden gem on the Oregon Coast.
For a mere $63 a night (during the week in the offseason), you get an oceanview room (complete with full kitchen... BONUS), free parking, walking distance to the movie theater and some locals restaurants and bars, and a decent nights sleep. What more could you ask for? How about a DVD player in your room... I may never leave!
Oh, and did I mention the fully stocked kitchen? You can buy groceries and not leave your room for days. What more could you want in a romantic getaway? I also hear that you can bring your dogs here for a small fee. And you have pretty easy access to the beach.
So, curl up in a chair by the fire and look out one of the many windows in your room overlooking the ocean... You may never leave. :)

Excellent value - rooms have fantastic view. This is the place I like to grab my puppy and hide away... The Oregon Coast is incredibly romantic in that rocky, stormy type of way. This is the perfect place to watch - from the comfort of fireside. Keep in mind - the accommodations are very modest. Reminds me of the Early 1980s. I like to pull up 2 of the chairs to the window for a game of cards... and Outlet shopping is close by for when I get antsy and need to get out. It itsn't fancy, in fact, it's quite the opposite. For the price, you can't beat it.
Mornings are filled w/ walks (or chasing after dog) on the beach.
I miss it already.
