When I think of my stay here, these words come to mind, "Mas o menos asi asi." More or less it's ok.
The location can't be beat that's for sure and we got a great deal so I'm not going to complain. However that huge cockroach that greeted us from a night of partying was very unpleasant but made the stay memorable and highly amusing, obviously more amusing the following morning. Think of screaming girls jumping on the bed at 4am holding their coveted gyros in hand watching this giant cockroach climb through luggage and up the wall. He became "our little friend" until a staff member came to dispose of him.
The beds and linens were comfy so that was a plus too and the staff were pleasant which you don't get all the time in Miami.
For what you get, free wi-fi, complimentary breakfast, cute patio, solid drinks on an easy on the wallet cost, it was definitely decent for the price but I wouldn't put this on a must stay again list.

Stayed at this hotel 3 years ago, Spring break. Loved it. Although not the nicest hotel, per se, it is affordable (or was, I should say, as the rates have probably gone up) - especially for the location. And it's got a cute little pool and a patio- great for lounging or pre-gaming before a night on the town. So close to the beach and in walking distance to all the South Beach excitement you can handle. More importantly, it's clean! That's more than I can say about the Carlton Hotel (whose rates are comparable), which sports a "WE HAVE COLOR TV" sign out front, probably because that's about all they can brag about.
May have been affordable because we piled 5 girls into a 2 person room. Yep, that was it. How quickly I forgot our can of sardines sleeping situation. It was well worth it. We were broke college students who just wanted a break from snowy Buffalo, anyway.

A fine hotel, not great, clean rooms, solid hotel bar and a helpful staff. Close to the beach & bars, and really isn't that the reason to stay in the area?
