I've never gotten a massage at Essential Therapy Store & Spa, but I stopped by to see if they have anything in the way of birthday gifts for my Mom. The $10 neck pillow, magical silk hot/cold pouches, gift cards, and foot skin care slippers were all good possibilities. They also have giant National Geographic candles in the shape of the Buddha's head (which I though was funny), aprons, and lots of skin care and aromatherapy products. The staff was extraordinarily friendly--attentive without being pushy.
If I ever want to give or get a massage in Nashville, I'll probably come here.
I love this place. I've been a client for a few years now and I've tried other places but still go back to this one.
The atmostphere is perfect. The service is awesome. Great place to unwind and destress. Great massages and facials.
I went here with my best friend for a massage when I was in town visiting her, as she had a gift certificate from her boss that we used.
THIS IS THE BEST MASSAGE I HAVE EVER GOTTON!!! I really really love the dim lighted setting and the front desk and spa girls were very kind and helpful.
When I first met the lady who was going to give me my massage, she was an older woman and I was worried about her quality of work because she could have been my grandma's age. but WOW she pleasantly surprised me and her pressure was perfect. Ive had dozens of massages before at other top spas all around the US but this was by far the best.
Seriously, try this place.
My husband used to always get me gift certificates for massages at Essential Therapy, until I finally just decided I just don't like getting a massage. I just can't relax. But I still love this place! If there is ever a place that one could relax, it would be here. I think I'm just to ADD and high strung. The massage therapists were always wonderful and not creepy at all (a good thing). They also have a "tranquility room" that you can hang out in before or after your massage. They have a little retail shop set up outside the spa, where you can buy cute robes and slippers and all kinds of beauty products. I go once or twice a year to pick up this all natural nasal "stick" for my allergies... I used to pay more for Nasonex, but this stuff is cheaper and a great alternative to nasal spray! I haven't been able to find it anywhere else but here!
