2 reviews for Espo's
Espo's is the place to be if you're looking for a hole in the wall that serves huge portions of delicious Italian food. What's great about this place is it feels like a real neighborhood joint. When I used to come here, years ago, I felt like I was dining in someone's kitchen. It's that homey.
All the pasta dishes are huge and come with salad and freshly baked bread. Expect to wait a little bit for your order as everything is made to order. The bar is lined with locals, so grab a brew while you wait. There also aren't too many tables so you may find yourself standing outside for your spot to open, but once it does, ho boy, get ready!
Espo's and a decent Chinese buffet are the only two places where after dining, I felt like I would puke everywhere from being way too full. With Espo's, I couldn't stop eating because it tasted so good. At the Chinese buffet, I was just trying to get my money's worth.
A little out of the way place, fantastic food and lots of it, plan on taking a doggie bag home, it is a bit cramped, but has friendly waiters. My favorite is their braccole. Spelled wrong but sounds right.
