I am a girl, a girl who does not play sports, a girl who watches only an occasional baseball or college football game...and I choose to listen to the Mac, Jurko and Harry show over anything else on the radio from 5-7pm.

That has to say something.

I like this station when I'm in the car and can't watch the baseball or football game.  That's about it.  But my bf is addicted to this station and it kind of drives me nuts lol  I need music in my life!

I loved it when Chicago got its first all sports radio station in 1992 (the score).  I had heard fraternity brothers from New York talk about the fan and I loved that we were getting one. I loved the score in its early days, but grew tired of its uneducated fan base and quickly gravitated towards ESPN.  Mac, Jurko and Harry is as advertised, America's last corner bar. Dan Patrick acerbic whit and Carmen DeFalco and Marc Silverman bring a perspective of a Chicago fan.  The station also seems to appreciate it fans, realizing that they need the fans to survive.

Mac, Jurko and Harry are what make this station for me. I only occasionally get to listen to the other hosts, and have mixed feelings about them. A few highlights:
Dan Patrick- if you listen to 15 minutes of his show, you've heard the whole thing because he's normally just beating one or two topics to death for the entire show. That said, I like the guy- I just can't (and don't need to) listen to more than a half hour of his show.
Steve McMichael and Chet Coppock on Sunday mornings. As much as this is bad radio in that they're all over the map and just generally disjointed, I find this to be some of the funniest and most dynamic radio out there today.
Mike & Mike: is there any good reason why we can't get local show hosts during the AM drive? Until they do, my dial stays on news or Mike North- I have no desire to listen to the Eastern Seaboard Programming Network when I can get local stuff that's more entertaining.
Jim Rome: It sucks that it's a tape delay late at night, but I fully understand- people love him or hate him, and I'm in the minority that love him. I'm not a clone, but the sarcasm has always been right up my alley.
