  I have worked with Dr. Escobedo for about a year, he and his staff are extremely professional, knowledgeable, and caring.. which is what I look for in a doctor. I find the work he does to improve what we think isn't  "perfect" about our bodies to be jaw-droppingly amazing. The brazilian butt-lift, and lipo suction in particular. I'm looking forward to getting my teeth whitened soon at such an awesome price! Apparently there isn't much  Escobedo Esthetics can't do!

  This review is from a patient who had sought treatment approximately three years ago.  This said patient has continuously written about improper dermal filler injections from the product Evolence.

  "About Evolence
  Evolence is an advanced collagen-based structural dermal filler that provides long-lasting treatment of moderate to deep facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. The results of treatment with Evolence are immediate, with little to no downtime post-treatment and clinically proven to last through six months. Additional data for 12-month duration approval is being filed with the FDA.
  Unlike other dermal fillers that use hyaluronic acid (HA), which absorb water to create their effect, Evolence is a true structural agent due to its three-dimensional collagen matrix. This collagen structure benefits patients as it is directly linked to the minimal bruising and swelling that might result. Evolence does not use chemicals for cross-linking like many other products do, but instead uses natural sugar to improve durability. Evolence collagen is cross-linked through its patented Glymatrix Technology using the natural sugar, D-Ribose. The Glymatrix process is designed to:
  * Mimic naturally occurring collagen in the skin by creating a true structural framework with natural, durable cross-links to ensure filler longevity
  * Provide consistent and predictable results
  * Use natural ingredients for natural-looking results
  The naturally sourced porcine collagen used in Evolence is the most genetically similar to human collagen and has been used safely and effectively for decades in various medical applications, including heart valve replacement.
  This new generation collagen filler is intended for injection into the mid-to-deep dermis for the correction of moderate to deep facial wrinkles and folds, such as nasolabial folds. The most common side effects of Evolence injections are usually injection-site related and include mild swelling, redness, and pain. Other rare side effects include the development of small areas of firmness under the skin at the treated sites that may be noticed when the areas are pressed upon.

  This patient has expressed great distraught from a said effect of bumps caused by the filler.  Like most fillers, Evolence has a survival time of 6-12 months.  Once the product lifetime has passed, the product dissolves naturally and safely into the body.  Aside from this known fact of dermal fillers, Dr. Escobedo has personally sought to help this patient have their needs attended to.  This patient has rejected all efforts made by the practice as well as Dr. Escobedo himself.

  I cannot say anything about Dr. Escobedo because I did not meet him however, I would like to comment about my unpleasant experience I had at his facility and with his staff. I took off work to be able to book at 10am appointment to receive a chemical peel + phototherapy for my acne. I was told it would take less than an hour and I'd be out by 11am.  I arrived 10 minutes early but no one was at the front desk, I had to shout "hello" before anyone came. The medical assistant put me in a crampt room where there was no comfortable place to sit (a very low and small bench w/ no back support right next to the wall) where I was given paper work to fill out. After I filled out 6 pages worth, and after about 10 minutes the medical assistant came back and told me I was not able to have the procedure done because the doctor was not in to approve it. I asked if I was at least able to receive the phototherapy and asked how much it was. He walked away and about 15 minutes he came back. I gave him the money and he was gone for another 15 minutes. It was now 10:47 and I had been sitting on a very uncomfortable chair in a tiny room for over 45 minutes so I finally walked out and told him I had to be at work. I asked for my money back. After another 5 minutes for him to get it back I was finally able to leave. There was no follow up apology or attempt to reschedule. They simply let me leave unhappy. I will never go back to this office ever again.
