Oh so tasty! Oh so cheap! Not until I arrived in Minneapolis, did I hear about this chain.
From a land dominated by Subways, I felt so ignorant that I did not know what a decent sub tasted like. I haven't eaten at Jared-ville since.
MMMMM...freshest bread, meat, cheeses, and veggies.
They scoop out the bread guts of your sub roll to make maximum room for your requested ingredients and then wrap the bread guts in with your sandwich. Brilliant!
I cannot eat mayo (see my tragic 8th Street Grill review) http://www.yelp.com/bi... so I can easily recommend the Tappy - Genoa salami, Capicola ham, provolone cheese, lettuce, tomato, onions, and their own oil and vinegar dressing.
I do not know what exactly is in that dressing, but it takes that Italian sub to another level.
Major added bonuses:
1. They deliver.
2. Open late to satiate my post-Stub & Herb's alcohol absorption craving.
3. Watch away. Open food prep area lets you make sure you receive spit-free food.
