I don't think I realized how good Equilibrium was until I switched jobs and moved out of the Financial District. I recently joined BSC and now I am really missing The EQ.
This gym is bright and sunny and extremely clean. The women's locker room is beautifully kept and the towels are so clean they are still warm. The bathrooms are sparkly with good shampoo/conditioner/shaving cream (yes ladies, they provide razors as well). You don't have to do silly things like bring your own lock for your locker or carry your own water bottle (they have fountains AND cups).
The yoga classes are excellent (esp. the mid-day hatha class).
Bottom line - if you work nearby - sign up already. -

The little gym that could. Expensive but it's nice when only 15 people are there (and that's considered crowded). The trainers know your name and are totally helpful and cool. It's kinda snoody but that's the appeal...I think. Like, the weights are in Kilograms. Yeah, Kg.
So if you like working out with a bunch of financial dudes...this is the place for you. They even have a spa and a little cafe (so all your bases of well being are covered).
