Wine by the glass was nice - had
The dessert flight was fun - enjoyed the ports.
Micro-brew beer choice was diverse.   Something for all the adults.

Chill-in environment that's well lit but intimate.

Try the BROWNIE!!!  Holy crap their brownie dessert is the best I've ever had.  In fact, the only reason I'm giving this location 4 stars, is because of the brownie.  Their beer selection has always been a hit also.  The wine selection on the other hand, can be hit or miss.

Overall, I love Eola Wine Company, but this particular location isn't exactly my favorite.  I only say this because as soon as the local shops close on this end of Park Ave, the area goes dormant (excluding a few restaurants further south).  The place is either half empty with an out of place DJ playing, or filled with drunk senior citizens talking loudly.

My advice, go to the downtown location at night and the winter park location only during the day/afternoon.

    Good wine selection, grumpy bartenders.

Sit anywhere besides the bar if you want to enjoy your evening. All the table servers are friendly.

I really am over grumpy bartenders, back when I was in college and going to college bars, I could accept some attitude from a bartender, but guess what bartender! I make a lot more money then you do now SO LOSE THE ATTITUDE. Cheer up and don't talk down to me.

I already reviewed the Lake Eola location so I'm not going to say much other than it's one of the only places I'd be caught dead drinking on Park Ave.

If you're lucky, you'll enjoy a half empty bar with good music and barkeep banter. At worst, you'll find this place is full of Winter Park silverbacks and socialites looking to get out of their reverse mortgage mansions and hit the streets. You're guaranteed to overhear some silly convos between "backseat Barbaras" and their Tommy Bahama-clad potential fuckmates. Come for the wine, and stay for the social experiment. Cabana boys sometimes infest the waters too.

The food here is good, and perfect for covering for a missed dinner. Share it. The drink selection is robust, however I'd like to see more beer rotation. I like the girls and guy who work here.

Fabulous.  I totally understand the great reviews now and I have no idea why I never tried this place before!  My boyfriend and I went for a stroll down Park Ave last night and this was one of the few places with an affordable menu.  We sat inside in the romantic, dim lighting and ordered flatbread and bruschetta.  The flatbread was great, but the bruschetta was out of this world!  The spread they had tasted like the best pasta salad ever made.  I know it sounds weird, but it was delish.  Boyfriend ordered a beer flight, which I've never seen.  Overall, I really can't say enough about Eola Wine Co.  It's simple, elegant, chic, and fun.  Five stars!

This is probably my favorite place to get a beer in Orlando.

They take their beer really seriously here and always have a quality selection and they're constantly changing their taps, which makes you want to drop by regularly to see what they have.

My fiance likes the wine selection, too.  They have a really good Moscatto (she sticks with the sweet wines).

The food is also really impressive.  The bruschetta is awesome.

I think what I like most about Eola is that it's chill and hip and, though it's on par with the quality of food and wine/beer that you'd find on Park Ave, it lacks the hoity-toity vibe of, say, The Wine Room.  I knew I was a fan of Eola when I went there on a Saturday night and they were playing the 'XX' album in its entirety.

Come one Saturdays and Sundays before 4 and tap beers are two-for-one.

Eola Wine Company is my go to place in WP for drinks and appetizers.  The wine and beer selection is phenomenal and the apps are simple and delicious.  I would recommend any of the flat breads.  They are crisp and flavorful.  The brie and raspberry puff pastry is really nice too.  They also have a cheese plate with an impressive selection to choose from.   Ample outdoor seating makes this is a great place for people watching as well.  The location is large enough for a group, but small enough for an intimate date with your hubby.  Check it.
    * If, by chance you are looking for all the fun and less WP pretension, they have a second location in down town Orlando.

The beer/wine menu was impressive and so was the ambiance.
However, the bartender was too cool for school so that was a little distasteful. Overall though, I would stop in for a few drinks. It's a nice trendy, hip place to go with friends.

This is the second Eola Wine Co location Great wine bar, one of the only to offer wine flights. Flights are smaller pours of several wines, the flights rotate out usually based on the seasons. Nice microbrew selections on tap. Tapas styled munchies are available, all are great.

Great place to enjoy a Happy Hour or late night glass. Service is great, nice place to have a private party or group. Park Ave offers a nice backdrop for their outside seating.

I've been to Eola Wine Company in Winter Park several times and have always enjoyed it. The flights are great for sampling wine and they go well with the cheese plates, which you can pick 3 or 5 different cheeses to try. They also have a large selection of beer. With plenty of seating inside and out, I've never had to wait for a table or been made to stand. They play really good music and on Fridays there is an excellent live DJ.

The waitresses are very knowledgeable about the wine and beer, but when it gets busy, don't expect prompt service. The crowd is usually laid back and this is always my first choice over The Wine Room.

If you are looking for a place on Park Ave to have some wine and good conversation, this is the place to go.

I really enjoyed coming here with my mom and one of our family friends for "linner". It has a very relaxing atmosphere and you can sit on couches and lounge with delicious food and drinks.

We started out with a mimosa flight, which all of us shared. The flight comes with four different mimosa flavors: original, banana, raspberry, and peach. All were delightful, but I think peach and banana were my favorites! The cool thing is that once you order a flight, they give you some time and then you can order your favorite of those for (a 5th), and it's free.

We ordered a bruchetta flight with traditional tomato topping, hummus , and salmon tartare. I really liked the traditional. One of my favorites was the cheese spread. They provide a lengthy list of cheeses with descriptions, and you pick either three or five for your cheese board. It comes with crackers and grapes. Amazing, and it really gives you the opportunity to try something new. Finally, my last favorite thing was the chicken flatbread. Absolutely delicious.

This place can be a little pricy, but we ended up taking tons of food back with us (including cheese!) and we had a wonderful time.

I had a friend in town who loves wine, so dinner at Eola Wine Company immediately came to mind. I had witnessed patrons enjoying flights of wine on the sidewalk while shopping on Park Ave. and definitely wanted to give it a try! Needless to say, we were not disappointed.

The night started off a little rough - 15/20 minutes went by and not a single waiter addressed us. But once they realized we were there, the service was great. We both ordered wine flights, the buffalo chicken salad and a cheese plate. I'm no wine connoisseur so this place was perfect for me - I can try 4 wines instead of trying order one with no idea what I would like. And the buffalo chicken salad was incredible -- one of the best chicken salads I've ever had! Cheese was also good and I was impressed with their selection. Overall, a great place to grab some wine & cheese on Park!

I really love Eola and I don't go there often enough.

It's a very relaxing place to sit and have a few glasses of wine with some friends. The wine list has a nice selection, and all of the food I've tried is very good. They also have a good beer list, but I personally stick to wine most of the time.

The outdoor seating is great for people watching on Park Ave.

I am always very impressed with the music selections as well! I always feel very comfortable and at-home at Eola!

My husband and I (in town visiting the in-laws) stopped by the Eola Wine Co. on Park Avenue for New Years Eve. Our impression of the place was mixed. The wine was pretty good, the cheese plate was pretty sad, and the atmosphere was more like a slow Tuesday night than a New Year's Eve celebration.

We tried four different wines. Of those, we really like one (a Stag's Leap Chardonnay), felt that two were okay (two Sav Blancs) and really disliked one (a Rhone blend from Napa). The selection of wines by the glass was good in that most regions and varieties were represented. Both white and red wines are served in large Pinot/Nebbiolo balloon-style glasses. They also have wine flights.

The atmosphere is nice and mellow (very laid back with music that is loud enough to enjoy but quiet enough to talk). The servers are attentive but forgetful (our waitress had to come back and ask us what we had ordered on several different occasions).

The big miss for us was the cheese plate. They had a nice selection of cheeses on the menu and we ordered three. (After all, a wine bar is nothing without cheese). They were served on a large platter with (I kid you not) nearly an entire box worth of crackers (your basic grocery store variety), a cluster of sad looking grapes, a cup or more of plain, somewhat dusty walnut pieces, and a ramekin of olives. The cheeses themselves were good but the servings were very small compared to the accompaniments. This could have been executed a whole lot better than it was.

Prices seemed reasonable (wines range from $7-12 per glass, cheeses are $15 for three and there are plenty of other small plates/bites in that price range).

I just love this place! There's nothing like relaxing with a glass of wine, enjoying fresh air and people watching on Park Ave. Eola provides outdoor seating, a fantastic selection of wine and beer, and delicious appetizers.

Personally, I prefer the wine and bruschetta flights - great way to taste a variety of wines and toppings. You get a little bit of everything!

I really need to visit this place more often! The flat breads are fantastic, the beer and wine selection is always great. My husband is a beer aficionado and if he approves of a place, it must be good! Do not miss out on the chance to have one of their cheese boards. The cheese selection is fantastic and reasonably priced. Seriously, have you ever tried to make a comparable cheese board at home? You would spend a fortune! Go, grab a drink, and enjoy!

Eola Wine Company, I wronged you before.

I went back this past weekend and I'm impressed. I didn't enjoy the beer I ordered and the bartender was good enough to let me sample a few before I chose my next drink, AND he didn't charge me for the first one. Awesome customer service.

I also tried the bruschetta sampler and it was excellent and fresh, even close to closing time.

This is fast becoming my favorite place on Park Avenue.

Along the infamous Park Avenue in Winter Park, Florida there are a few different posh, fancy restaurants and hang out places, but the best, in my opinion, is Eola Wine. The atmosphere is very elegant, relaxed and simple with decor to match.

Their list of wine and beers is not extensive but features only the best brands and varieties of both. Plus, the menu changes once or twice a year, which allows you to try new things. Personally, I favor the whites over the reds. The conundrum is a white blend that is the perfect combination of sweet and bitter with very light fruit flavors. Evolution is similar but has a bit of a kick which is what makes it stand out next to conundrum. For the beers, I am a devote Orange Blossom Pilsner fan. With the lightness and hint of orange what's not to love?

For food, you can't go wrong here either. The bruschetta is excellent, as is the Brie wrapped in a pastry dough and topped with a raspberry jam. If you're looking for something a little more filling, their steak wrap will do the job. The cheeses also make for a great snack and always come garnished with an array of nuts and fruits.

    Survey says....two thumbs up!

Winter Park is loaded with Wine Bars vying for dominance.  While each seems to have its own charm to offer I really enjoy this place in particular.  The staff is very knowledgeable about their constantly changing selection of wines.  The place is cozy with couches and tables and some great artwork up on the walls.  I like this place as a nice break from the Wine Room down the street as this place is never as crowded, you're pretty much guaranteed a place to sit, and there is table service, all of which can be iffy or nonexistent at the Wine Room.

They don't have a set close time and the staff never seems upset about staying a bit later to cater to people who come in towards the end of the night.  All in all I think the staff, the atmosphere, the selection, and the service all are reasons you should check this place out.

We had wine and cheese at Eola Wine bar on Park Place. Fairly good selection of wines by the glass, better than most in South Florida but not as diverse as the wine bar just down the block on Park Ave. But they also don't have the stratospheric prices or the need to spend an additional 3 bucks on a card to access the wine machines. The machines themselves are a pain because they never slip and give you a slightly more generous pour.

Great location to kick back with some friends and enjoy a glass of wine or 2...... or 3...... or .....well, you get the idea. Nice wine selection at typical Winter Park prices. Great location right along Park Ave, excellent for enjoying this perfect weather we've had lately and just people watch. They have very neat little wine flight selections which gives you an opportunity to sample 4 glasses of wines that are grouped together. This was great with me, I tried a selection of reds including an Oregon Pinot along with some selections of reds from Argentina, Spain and Cali. My food and wine selection wasn't a match but I chose to try the salmon tar tar regardless and I really enjoyed it. Inside is nice as well with a very warm and comfortable feel. When the weather's right though...... I'll be relaxing on the patio sipping some good wine and laughing at the yuppies as they attempt to park their luxury cars on the side of the street and end up scratching up their rims and bumpers.

this is a nice wine bar on park avenue. the choices are varied, and  they have samplers if you want to do some tastings. of course they have some light menu items that go very well with wine. the bartenders are very knowledgable about wine and can help steer you in the right direction for your taste. the outside tables are great for enjoying the park avenue experience. the overall atmosphere is relaxed so you can feel at ease right away. i had a thoroughly enjoyable time here.
