This is a decent place to get a haircut in Fremont. I used to go here and liked it well enough and always found their services to be moderately priced. I don't know if I'd go here for a major makeover or style change, but its a safe bet for maintenance and basic cuts.

I have Paula cut my hair and she's AMAZING!!!

I've tried many other salons in Fremont and they do a great job the first time, an OK job the second, and by the third cut, you're off to find someone better.  I've been going to Paula for two years now and I'm not looking for anyone else.  

A cut and full color is less than $100. And more importantly, they don't overbook, so you're not waiting around forever waiting for your stylist.  I can be out in 90 minutes, not 2+ hours like some other salons in Fremont.

Went here once to touch up my highlights - the lady (forgot her name) left the bleach on too long and my hair snapped off. Not to mention the parts that were supposed to be blond were WHITE AND GREY!  All I was offered was a free deep conditioning.

Needless to say, I never went back. Besides, when I got to a salon I want to see stylists with hip hair - not old fashioned 1980s styles.

I absolutely adore Karlene - no one else can ever touch my curls.  She took me from waist-length hair to chin length and it looks great - all this when every hairdresser I've ever seen has told me that I "can't" have short hair.  She also does great color and is super nice on top of all that.

Oh, and Joanie does a fantastic job on my brows.

If you have curly hair and want a great stylist go and see Karlene at Entourage!
She also has beautiful natural curly hair. Karlene is a sweetheart and fun to talk to.  The prices at Entourage are unbelievely affordable.  $35 for a cut, are you kidding me?!  Their receptionist will offer you a cup of cappuccino or a glass of wine as you walk through the door.  The salon's environment is relaxing and low key.  They are located at strip mall in Fremont.

Alright everyone your search for a good hair cut ends here!
Paula cut my hair. She took her time. She listened carefully to what I wanted and we talked extensively about what would and would not work and WHY.
So I held my breath as she grabbed the scissors and she went to town! Man that girl knows her way around a head with those scissors! I am very picky and I was asking her all kinds of questions and she even consulted with other stylists to see if they would do the cut the same way or if they had any other ideas. I really appreciated this aspect. I felt like I was getting a "group" cut they all had good input and Paula discussed with me why she was thinking what she was thinking.  The other thing that I loved was that she wasn't afraid to be funky. I wanted a little something different not the plain Jane style. I wanted my cut to work for me I don't want to have to spend even 30 minutes doing my hair. I want my cut to do all the work. Paula really made that happen. You know when you leave a salon and you think that there could just be some more "umpth" in your cut? Like the stylists was just going through the motions of what they have been taught? Well I think Paula really tries to understand what you want and she gives it.
I have NEVER been this pleased with ANY hair cut. I am 31 by the way so I have a little bit of experience.
Then Paula waxed my eyebrows and again she took her time and we came to a decision on shape and thickness all the while she was explaining her reasoning for her thoughts to me.
I am amazed at how calm and relaxed she is and how knowledgeable she is. She made me feel like she was on my side and not out to get a buck. Like she really wanted me to leave happy and boy did she deliver.
I have had my hair done at Visual Image and numerous AVEDA salons. I do not mind paying top dollar to get what I want. I have NEVER gotten this good of a cut from ANY of the above mentioned salons.
As far as pricing goes I could not be more pleased. Cut was 40$ and eyebrow wax was 17$. At first I was thinking that there is no way I could get a quality cut for 40$ I was proven wrong. I work hard for my money and it is nice to feel like it is manageable to live in the bay area. I have lived here all my life and thought that you had to pay 75-130$ for a good cut.  Paula used a Rusk product on my hair WITHOUT trying to sell it to me. I hate feeling like a salon is trying to nickel and dime you, I assure you, you will not experience that here.
All of the other stylists were very friendly and upbeat. They seem to have a great flow there. Professional receptionists always smiling and looking like they actually want to be at their job they also offer drinks.
I know that Paula also does some neat color stuff so that will be my next journey.
Location does leave a little bit to be desired but centrally located in Fremont just kinds of hard to find in the center but it is a jewel.
Again I recommend this salon and Paula with all my being. I have never felt this good about a cut. I can't wait to go back for some color now that I Have saved so much $ on the cut...
