long story short, my insurance company was jerking me around...when I got to enterprise to get a rental, the last straw was a company policy requiring that I have a cc not associated to my bank account in order to avoid paying out of pocket for a deposit and expenses. It was the last straw for me, and I almost had a melt down in the enterprise office, tho it wasn't their fault for this security measure.
I saved them the embarrassment of having them watch me flip out, but letting them know I had to step outside for a break down. they knew what was up. after about 10 minutes of me being back on the phone with my insurance, zach, from enterprise, said they worked out a deal for me since they understood what situation I was in.
Zach and the gang were super rad and helpful and were the only source of sunshine for me today. THANK YOU!
I knew I would be flying into Seattle one whole day before a wedding one and a half hours north of Seattle SO...not knowing how busy the car rental place would get, I decided to just book right after I made my plane reservation (one month in advance) for just one day. It was all done over the phone and the guys were super friendly.
Once I arrived to Seattle and it was the big wedding day, my local friend dropped me off. And let me tell you, I am SURE GLAD that I placed a car rental reservation through this site rather than going back to the airport (which is what my friend did and she spent a few HOURS waiting in line for her car rental).
It was a red, two-door Chevy Cobalt...vroom vroom (sorry, I had add that in...what's a car rental review without a vroom vroom?).
Seriously, check-in and check-in was no hassle at all. Max 20 minutes of your time. Most of it was me asking neurotic kinds of questions (this was my first car rental experience since getting my license in October 08...and my first solo car trip that lasted more than 30 minutes).
Speaking of which, I guess I was zoning out somewhere in lalaland but I guess I missed the part about filling up the tank. Ooops. Don't forget to do that, kiddos. :)
Next time I am in Seattle and in need of car rental, I will surely come here again. I'm pretty sure this is the only Enterprise (other than the one at the airport) that is open during the weekends. The rest are only open during the weekday.
This place took 9 hours to call me back. Go to the Boylston location. Enough said.
Easy breezy and got the car we needed for four people for a few days.
enterprise on westlake ave was amazing.
i booked a day in advance online to get the weekend deal, which, after taxes was about $50 for two days.
they offer free pick up and drop off in the downtown seattle area.
of course, they were too busy first thing saturday morning so they offered to pay for our cab fare if we brought them a receipt.
we get there saturday morning and they bumped us up for free to a cute silver corolla.
of course we forgot to fill the tank but instead of charging us the standard $5 a gallon they gave us a discount on that too!
they definitely bent over backwards to please us, and i wasn't even high maintenance!!
I am going to be flyin' out to Seattle next week on Wednesday. I will be there for about one week. And, with the weather being what it is (cold & snowy) I know I will need a rental. So, I called up Enterprise and asked what they could do for me as far as giving me a deal for the rental and picking me up and things like that. They took care of me quickly and was able to give me a reservation real quickly. I can't complain. I requested a certain type of vehicle. Whether they can get it or not I am not sure but I am glad that they offered to try even. The manager there who helped us to work out a great deal for an entire week's rental while keeping the rate the same as the weekend and with a free upgrade was named Scott LeBas. He was a real nice guy who made sure that we understood our options and gave us as much information about insurance policies, etc as possible. He was really friendly and I really liked working with him. THANKS to everyone at this Downtown Seattle location!
