I recently 12/19/23 had to rent a car from Enterprise in Kearney Mesa on Balboa Ave. My vehicle was hit and in the shop. I picked up my vehicle on 1/12/24. I had 2 issue that I had to deal with, that was not cool. I contacted Enterprise and I was taken care of by Mandy a Manager there at enterprise. Mandy listened to what I needed, then resolved both issues, working with my Insurance company for the rental. Mandy made the whole upsetting experience pleasant. It was all because of Mandy going above and beyond to make sure I had was taken care of in a very stressful experience. Thank you Mandy a shinning star at Enterprise. I would recommend Enterprise in Kearney Mesa on Balboa. I will go to them again for my rentals.

AMAZING! This Enterprise location is awesome! It's in great location near the Gaslamp Quarter. It was few blocks from my hotel so I walked here to pick up my rental car. The staff was friendly, professional and courteous. My rental car was cleaned both inside and outside. I can't wait to come back here again.

I have so far thoroughly enjoyed my experience with this enterprise and my vehicle. As fairly assumed, due to past reviews I was not entering this experience with high hopes but after a car accident you need a rental. Everyone there that morning was extremely nice, communicative, and great customer service. There was a slight hiccup with the reservation time but they were super quick to adjust and accommodate. I would definitely go back to this location again! Unfortunately I can't remember the names but the 2 gentlemen and 1 woman there on Saturday were great!

Someone vandalized my personal car and I received a car rental through my insurance with enterprise while I had the repairs done and everyone at enterprise went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and had the same style luxury car as my personal one. I am extremely thankful for the whole team that made this unpleasant situation so much better.

I just wanted to give a good review to Christopher, the assistant manager, he has been very helpful, helping me out throughout my process of getting my car totaled. He was very communicative, and I had to extend my rental which I had to call in and book another reservation. When I did that, he wasn't physically there, but he wrote notes under my account and made the process just easier for his associates to extend my rental. You know, there's people that go through a lot of rough times in life, and this was one of mine. He was just extremely helpful and empathetic to what happened to me and my daughter. Thank you again.

I wish it was lower stars to give about this horrible enterprise location. I had a rental car for 2 weeks, I brought it back in perfect condition, 15-20 minutes after dropping off the Atlas truck. I realized I left my $100.00 dollar cart inside the vehicle in the 3rd row of the car.
I went back to explain the the staff and Brenden said it should be inside because the car was not cleaned by staff, only used as a shuttle to go pick up people in Kearny mesa. So the car was not cleaned or rented! Brendan called his staff and told them to check the back row for my cart & they said nothing was there which was untrue!
Brenden said it was strange, he took my name & number and stated he would call me once the car returned after checking again thoroughly! Brendan called me around 5pm explaining the cart was still missing and to stop by in the morning to check again!
This morning I stopped by enterprise again and Marcus the rep was so rude to me, he said I was lying and he was not going to check if they already told me it wasn't there, then said I was accusing his employees of stealing!
Then the security Harold came out aggressively telling me to take the corporates number and leave! I will be taking enterprise to court for my cart & I wouldn't recommend this location to anyone! They will steal
any belongings left inside a vehicle .
The car wasn't even clean when given to me and staff treats you like crap! I'll also reach out to my car insurance company advising them not to go through this enterprise location ever! Good luckHelpful 0Thanks 0Love this 0Oh no 0Business owner information

Have to step up and update my review of this great downtown resource to let folks know they've held up and excelled through the pandemic !!
Began weekly rentals this July for a work assignment and Maple, Chris and everyone else I've interacted with so client oriented!!
They even give me a personal phone call ( voice !!) the day before my rental to confirm and give me a chance to list any preferences. Checking out/ in never takes more than 5 minutes - 10 minutes, depending if anyone ahead of me.
I've even observed Maple taking calls from customers stuck in traffic pleading with her to stay open a little bit late to return their cars.
So much better going to the convenient F St location vice the airport!

It was easy to reserve a car online and pick up was just as easy. All we needed to do was show our driver's license and we were taken to our rental car. The person helping us had a handheld device that he used to check us in. He walked around our car to see if there was any damage and anything bigger than a golf ball, he took a photo of so that we wouldn't be accountable for it. Because of COVID-19, they disinfect the car. This is awesome but the smell of the disinfectant is very strong and gag-worthy. It smelled so bad we rolled the windows down during our drive to our resort and left the windows cracked overnight.

Best place to rent a car. Super professional, cars smell great and they had the best deal. Easy process and minimal wait to rent a car. Logged on as we were arriving and had a car in less than 20 minutes ready to go
