Wow. I thought it was interesting that they greeted us at the door and guided us to the counter. Then the young man was unclear of the discount code on the screen (are we in trouble here??) and the manager squared it away (whew). Of course the rainy weather was a hinderance in 'selecting' a car. We had chosen a Fusion, but they had nothing like it. I suppose the Tuesday before Thanksgiving is a bit tough to keep a variety of cars available. Once we accepted the Chevy HHR we were on the way. The worn wipers made the airport exit a bit dicey. Finally at Moms place in NJ. Glad to be off the wet roads!
Next up was visibility in this car. Not the fault of Enterprise, but they really should not rent this car to anyone over say 5'7". I actually had to lean forward and scrunch down to see traffic lights. What was Chevy thinking!!! When we returned to car the checkin agent asked if the rental was OK. Well, not really and I told her of the visibility issue. Then to our amazment she asked if there was anything she could do to make it better. I thought -- what the hell -- how about knocking off the prepaid fuel. Done! Damn that is truly customer service.
Not to end there. It seems my husband's cell slipped out of his pocket. I called them from the terminal and the woman that answered asked how long ago and what car, then appearantely ran out to check the car. She came back on the phone and said we could come back or she could send it around on the next shuttle. I opted for the latter. Sure enough the shuttle came around and returned the phone.
This place truly goes the extra mile for the customer. We will gladly rent from them again! -

I chose them for this personal trip only because they were inexpensive. This was a family emergency, so I had my corporate travel service make the arrangements. I told them specifically to use my personal card (that I gave them). However, when I got home, I realized they charged my corporate card. I should have check at the time.
When I got back to work, I found they charged my corporate card! I called them, and after being bounced around to a couple people, I was told I had to go back to an Enterprise rental office that uses an "Odyssey reservation system". How in the hell am I supposed to know which office as that !?!? I was told (very snotty) that a major airport has to fix this. Absurd!!
I'm sticking with National. -

I traveled to Philly for the holidays. I was so happy and lucky to get a deal online the last min with Enterprise. I have only deal with Alamo the last visit when i was in Philly. First the service was Fantastic. I hoped on the bus and was directed to to there rental center inside i was guided by Nick who assisted me in the up-most professional mater. I picked my car and i was on my way out. Dropping off the vehicle was a breeze. I followed the signs and the young lady inspected the vehicle and printed out my bill.

I traveled to Philadelphia on business and wanted to rent a car to get into the city and see some historical sites of the surrounding areas. Enterprise offered the cheapest price through expedia so I chose to book with them. After only having rented from Hertz in the past, I wasn't sure what to expect but the service was fantastic. Travis was absolutely great helping me get everything situated, upgrading my rental at no charge, and just a sweetie. He ensured I knew where I was going and took great care of me. And seven days later when I returned the car, he remembered me! He asked how my trip was and had a genuine interest. Overall, it was wonderful service and I look forward to going back!

I travel a lot and normally rent from Hertz. However, this trip Enterprise beat Hertz by 30% on price, so I couldn't justify the added expense.
Usually the service at most Enterprise rental locations is slow. However, that was not the case with this one. There was a team of people who greeted us coming off the airport shuttle ready to assist. They quickly got us registered and walked us out to the car, which is standard Enterprise procedure.
The girl who helped us was very friendly and informative. The place was clean and they even had complimentary snacks (pretzels & water) available...(see pics for details).
Also, a huge plus was the poster of Rocky Balboa in the lobby (see pics)....you know you're in Philly Baby!!! Yo Adrian!!
Will I return? Next time I'm in Philly...you bet! -

SLOW, SLOW, SLOW
Waited at least 45 minutes in line to be served. There was only about 15 or so people ahead of me but their systems are antiquated. I had to give information I had already put in my reservation and then give phone numbers twice so they could register my husband as driver.
If Enterprise requires you to indicate a time you will be picking up, why don't they have enough staff to handle the number of renters?
We had to stay in a hotel near the airport instead of with friends because we were concerned the return would take as long or longer than the pick-up.
We will never use Enterprise again based on this miserable service.
Also, if you do go here...feel free to get in the line for their gold customers because a couple did this and they didn't verify they had the status...thus they got in and out while the rest of us waited, waited, waited. -

The are top rate ... over the past 3 times i have rented from them they were able to get every car i wanted and i was able to get my upgrades (on line with http://ebates.com) . but the one thing they were not up on was what to do when a problem come in that was not their own... i would like to feel that everyone in enterprise can fix any problem that i have.. but i felt that last star need to still be earned for me.

I've rented from Enterprise both in my home town - Madison, WI - and in Philadelphia. We needed a car for one night to get to New Jersey and they were very accomodating. They had plenty of selection and great pricing. We weren't sure how much gas we would need to get from Philly to Atlantic City, so we purchased the pre-pay gas. We ended up using less than half a tank, and they provided a refund for the difference even though we had signed up for the pre-pay. They weren't pushy on the upgrades either, though they did thoroughly mention all available products.
