This is the saddest little outlet store in the all the world. But it's full of cookies and coffee cakes, so it's the happiest little outlet store in all the world. Confused? Me too.

It's pretty tiny, with shelves along two walls and a center display area. I have never seen it as well stocked as in the photos on the review page, so either those girls were there on a good day or the store has gone to hell. It has the air of an IGA, circa 1975, if that means anything to you. A perpetual "going out of business" sale.

But the deals are good, if you like Entenmann's. Or Brownberry, Boboli, or Thomas', since they're all related companies. As you would expect, the products are mostly bread-related, but there's a selection of spices and mixes, which come from heavens knows where. For example, today I picked up a bottle of Cholula hot sauce. At $2.89, it was the most expensive thing I bought. They generally have something for 50 cents at the checkout counter -- today is was Thomas' whole grain mini bagels (a 1 lb. bag), and if you spend more than 10 bucks, you get a free loaf of bread. They also have a rewards card program.

If you have fond memories of the old Wonder outlet store on Diversey, this doesn't come close. But if you need some sugary crack, it's here. Appropriately enough, the Casual Male Big & Tall store is in the same mall.

I haven't been here for a while, but I hope they still have the 12 for $12 deal!

12 items for $12. For me that's at least 3 boxes of chocolate chip cookies and a cake. The rest of it I just grab whatever looks good. While the products are visually imperfect (like the icing on the cinnamon rolls wasn't put on correctly) the taste is there. If you thing 12 items is too much, buy for some friends or just be a trooper and eat it all.

In addition to this place there's the Dollar Tree next door and Target. Holy crap.. what more do you need?!?!

My flat mate and I have nick-named this place "The DOOM store" aka doom for trying being healthy.

You know it's good because it's Entenmanns!

Didn't even know this was here until I went to Dollar Tree and saw it.  The lady at the register was super nice, and it seems like everything I bought got me something free, so I walked out of there with a lot of stuff for hella cheap (and I just put it in the freezer, so it should last a while). Like everyone said, it is a crapshoot what they will have, but I will definitely be going back.

Everything they make tastes the same - from fake vanilla flavoring. Ew.

I actually found this store by accident while looking for another store along Addison.  I decided to check this store out.  All the products are first rate.  This is an outlet store so you will have to watch all the dates, some of which are close to expiration so be warned.  They did have a suprisingly decent selection of other products such as salad dressings, sauces and some canned goods by other manufacturers.  It's a pretty small shop and they cram in as much as they can.  Definitely another one of the no-frills stores in Chicago.

An interesting selection of baked goods from breads to donuts to pastries to pizza stuff - it's usually a hit or miss here with the bargain deals.

This outlet store is full of good deals, but as you might expect, the selection can be a bit random.  They always have bread and it will often cost only a $1 a loaf!  They have other random items, such as pizza crust, tomato sauce and canned goods.

A place to come and get bread (and some incredibly junk foody donuts and such) for real cheap.  A good place to go if you're shopping for more than 4 people or so and want to buy in bulk, otherwise, it's not really worth stopping in here...
