4 reviews for Enrapture Salon & Day Spa
I was just in WA over the weekend from San Diego for my good friend's wedding as a bridesmaid. She took us here to get our hair and makeup did, and I must say that I'm impressed. We showed up scrubby - and left the salon fabulous (at least from the neck up).
Unfortunately I forgot her name, but the tall young lady with the long black hair simply asked what I wanted, and gave me a bangin hairstyle in 5 minutes flat. Her makeup artistry was also great - I still looked like myself but better. I'm still getting compliments on how I looked that day.
This salon has good service with personable staff. It's worth checking out.
I tried this place out about two months ago, after a two year hiatus from no haircuts. (That's what happens when you have kids. And fear of no-skill hairstylists) Finally fed up with a straggly dead-ends and no style, I caved in and went. Before I'd go to Lynnwood but I wanted to go somewhere local: 1) to avoid the traffic and 2) get familiar with local businesses and support them.
I checked out their website and saw that their prices are waaaaay cheaper than say, THE BIG NAME beauty/salon/spa chains (hint, hint) it got my interest for sure.
The building is unassuming, and the signage is not really attention grabbing when speeding down 19th. They're located behind Cascade Bank a little hidden from the main road. When I went, around 6:30pm, there was plenty of parking. Not sure what it would be during the day.
The place is clean and calm. The girls working there are professional, and know their stuff. Michelle, who did my hair, didn't mind that I brought in a picture for reference and went straight to work. When I asked questions about care and maintenance she was helpful without pushing to sell products. She did a great job giving me a new look.
It takes me a long time to get haircuts 'cause I always have trouble being satisfied with the end results after spending so much, or I've had really really bad experiences. No one seemed to know how to cut Asian hair! Well, I'm more than satisfied, and I didn't spend half my bank account to look and feel great. I'll be going back. This time to add highlights!
This review really needs to be dated as I have not been to this salon in over three years. With that aside I will say that I loved a stylist there named Rachael.
She was a magician! Every hair cut from her was what I wanted. I had to stop going because she was limiting her hours. I am in there process of checking on her employment status there so more to come.
I just went back and was again pleased to have a fab service. Tea, hand massage and great color done. The owner called me by name after being gone for so many years. Now that is good customer service!!
I would recommend this place to all who want a chic style/color service without the pretentious staff who never listen.
The main reason I went was the positive reviews online, so these mean a lot! However, the reviews stated great prices and it was honestly the most I've ever paid for both hair color and a cut. There prices online did NOT match what I was charged, and I do not have long hair or thick hair or any special circumstances. I was not shown the colors chosen for me, as their policy is not showing you any mirrors or what's going on until the end, then a big "reveal". If you know your stylist and agree on colors and details, that would be okay, but this was a new place for me and I had no idea what to expect. It truly did turn out "okay" but not the colors I wanted or would have chosen. The quotes I was given for service seemed alright. When I finished and went to pay it was almost double of what I expected and a real shock... so basically because it wasn't exactly what I wanted and then cost me almost double what I was expecting, I'd recommend going somewhere else.
