Located smack in middle of the design district, right across from michael's is this little urban oasis. it's open to the public during the day for FREE. super modern. zen like, with bamboo shooting up to the sky. you can also rent the space for parties and photo shoots. very cool space.
UPDATE: I just love this place. Raised it from 4 to 5 stars. It's just so cool and there's really nothing else like it Miami.

Fantastic spot in the middle of the Design District. It's not really a conventional lounge, but a landscaping and design project that lends itself to be utilized as a lounge for special events. Best time to check it out is during the Design District's Art Walk every 2nd Saturday of the month.

A very Zen-chic-Miami feel can be had here, especially during the Art + Design Night every second Saturdays of the month. They would even have a few bars open so you can order drinks. There's some hors d'oeuvre (but I would skip them), and plenty of seating to go around to have a nice conversation with a friend. There's music too, but not loud enough to drown out conversations.
