A few weeks ago, I finally got to try their famous fried chicken platter. Let me tell you, it is BOMB. BOMB!

Endolyne Joe's fried chicken is unlike any I have tasted, perhaps because it is battered in buttermilk and is flavorful without being too salty. I got 3 pieces of chicken: the wing and drumstick, the thigh, and half of the breast. In addition to the chicken are mashed potatoes and a buttermilk biscuit, with some tomato-cream-bacon-bits gravy on top. Combined, these elements form a gastronomic harmony.

It was a wonderfully delicious meal that can be split into two serving-size portions (unless you're a glut).

Things to try later: Pan-fried chicken, sirloin steak Oregonzola, and their fall harvest squash ravioli.

Their service was also satisfactory: Water glasses were constantly refilled, and we were asked how we were doing often, but not too often where it was annoying.

Went here with a couple of girlfriends of mine for dinner. The ambiance is great, warm and buzzing with folks. The food is lackluster, the fried chicken was undercooked and pink in some areas. Undercooked beef is okay but never poultry.

Would I go out of my way to visit again? Probably not. Although I do like other Chowfood restaurants.

I love all the Chow Foods places for breakfast. Man, they're just spectacular, IMO. Everything I like in a breakfast spot, all in one throw.

EJ is the usual mix of a cool building and a nice dining room that CF does so well. EJ is at the bottom of the hill in Fauntleroy. You're probably not going to be eating here if you don't wake up somewhere in West Seattle or Burien, or you maybe take somebody to the airport at the crack of dawn or something. So keep that in mind.

There's a little bit of parking on the side. You walk in and there are high ceiling, decent light, nice hustle and bustle. It's a clean, well-organized, and energetic place. I dig that vibe at that hour. Long wood bar off to the left, nice big antique-ish barback behind it, which sets a nice tone.

There are so many little things that show that the people here enjoy their work--the menu itself is funny. They hire people who enjoy restaurant work and do it well. Service is fast unless the place is absolutely buried in customers. You get good coffee in a thick, heavy mug really quickly. Having that in front of you right from the jump immediately boosts your confidence that the whole thing will go well. The regular menu is all solid, and includes all the breakfast classics. There are plenty of specials rotated in. You can kinda tell even before you order that the kitchen will be doing a good job.

Special note that the coffee cake is always spectacular, fresh every day, always a different recipe. Incredible hash browns--fresh grated, well seasoned, perfectly crispy. Bacon cooked to order. Real eggs in many of the dishes (you can't really get around liquid eggs in scrambles and omelets). I had the corned beef hash, which was decent, though the corned beef flavor could have been more up front for me--it's probably a bit more upmarket the way they do it.

Be advised that this place truly does get buried with customers. There was a big line when I finished breakfast at 9:45. There are regulars everywhere--people chatted with me while I sat at the bar, even though I had my nose buried in a book.

I've been here for lunch, too, and it was fine, though not quite the across-the-board success that breakfast is. No drawbacks, but the focus on breakfast here results in every little detail being awesome, IME, and lunch is merely very good. But, then, I love the value and luxury of eating breakfast out on the weekends.

Ok..been there before..good fried chicken..nice cool staff..not bad drinks( martini for 9.50 a lil'much), but last night the food was lacking.First they were out of fried chicken at ten of 7pm and the steak, i order the chicken special with pancetta which came out tasty but with one..i am not exaggerating one tablespoon of orzo and  1/2 a leaf of swiss chard as it accompaniments, now i have been around kitchens all my life and thats just not cool. 16.00 bucks for no sides.you guys have to look at what the line is serving and if thats what the owners want , let people know!!Like I said the service was great and the waitresses tip did not in any way show my dissappointment at the food. Also..ixnay the lentils with the tuna...oohh bad combo with a beautiful blood orange reduction.Peace out.

The menu changes and that's a cool thing to me. Food has been really good every time I have been there as well. They have good drinks as well to match the menu.

Parking can be about the worst thing around there, but that's about it.

Good penne, even better pork with polenta fries. The fried zucchini and fried mozzarella appetizers topped it earlier, though. Dessert seemed portioned for sharing, but maybe it's because we were one of the last groups there that night. There was a 15 minute wait for seating, but it really cleared out by the time we finished eating. I definitely plan on going back again to try some more. Service was friendly and the atmosphere was quiet enough to have a normal conversation with. They also have a kitchen bar to sit at and watch the cooking (as opposed to the actual alcohol bar), which might be worth sitting at for added fun.

I've been wanting to check this place out on a friend's recommendation.  Finally had an opportunity too.  Before I headed out I want to find the address and see what the yelper's had to say...of course after reading some of the reviews I was hesitant, but I had to check it out for myself.  Glad I did.

Went to Endolyne's for late breakfast.  The place was good size and there was no wait.  I hate waiting.

I started with a bloody mary and ordered the huevos rancheros.  The food was good.  And so was the service.  I'd definitely try Endolyne Joe's again.

Endolyne Joe's continues to be one of our favorite restaurants.  We came in around two o'clock on Saturday afternoon after a jog around Alki and were pleasantly surprised to find that the restaurant was not crowded and we were able to be seated immediately.

As usual, great service!

Though they currently have a Santa Fe theme going on, I ordered a turkey sandwich off the  "regular" menu.  This turned out to be about the best turkey sandwich I have ever had.  It had a hearty (flaxseed?) bread and came with, in addition to the turkey, tomato, cucumber and a yumalicious chipotle mayo.  Served with some very good potato chips on the side.

JP had the bean soup and tossed salad.  The bean soup was very good, but the garlic dressing for the salad was out-of-this-world awesome!

I decided to edit this review for length.

This place probably would have gotten 3 stars, if the chicken I ordered didn't make me ill. Granted, it was partly my fault for not sending the underdone chicken back, or simply not even attempting to eat any of it, and I take full responsibility for that.
However, there is no excuse for sending out undercooked chicken. I could tell it wasn't cooked enough just by looking at it on the plate.

Otherwise, the decor and atmosphere were pleasant enough, the service was prompt and polite, and the rest of the food ranged from pretty good to fine, but unremarkable.
I will note that several things were not at all what I would have expected from the description on the menu.

Take all that for what you will.

We only go there for breakfast.  I really love the rotating regional menu.  (currently it's a New Mexico thing).

They have some darn tasty hash browns.

I just think that the servers can be a bit snooty.

There seem to be a wide range of stories on Joe's. I've never had a bad experience here, although I do wish they drop the prices a bit. It can get spendy fast.

My experience is that you won't ever be dissappointed with the specials. They may look funky sometimes, but these folks know what they're doing.  I like to open atmosphere, the booths, and we've always had nice, if a bit distracted, wait staff.

Good bar area.  If you're in this neck of the woods, I'd recommend it.

Beth and I wandered in the other morning after a short (and bird-shitty) walk on Lincoln Park. I don't remember what she ordered except that it involved a poached egg and she liked it a whole lot. I had the migas and daaaaaaaaaaaaaaamn it was good.

Our waitress was totally friendly and told us all about her recent trip to Hawaii. The only downside to the whole thing is that she left us both wanting to go there on vacation.

I like Endolyne Joe's. I'll be back super soon.

I had honestly forgotten about the previous update. Well, not really forgotten, but, you know, life goes on. I did just get this private message through Yelp, which I really appreciate. I feel kind of bad -- I'm not going to go in and be all crazy "feed me the kitchen" or anything. But it's nice to know that I don't have to be persona non grata there!

Dear Mary:

My name is [redacted] and I was your awful server at Endolyne Joes. Please, please, PLEASE Forgive me!!! I love working at Joes and I'm usually on my game. I remember exactly who you are and would like to say I'm sorry for being such an ass... I wasn't feeling myself that night. I appreciate the yelp because it's not fair to you that I didn't give you the service you deserve, the service I so pride myself on. Hopefully, it's given me the chance to make things right.  I hope you guys haven't given up on Joes because of me. I would love to have the chance to make it up to you. Please come by and I will make things right. Again, I'm so sorry.

Dude, I totally forgive you. Will you make me a sundae?

I had a board meeting here a few weekends ago on a sunny Saturday morning. We were meeting in West Seattle because we had a member commuting from Vashon Island, and Endolyne's is just a short uphill walk from the ferry.

It's a very cute, cozy restaurant with fun decor and nice service. We made a reservation and had a nice, long table in the back room. For breakfast, I ordered the oatmeal and was able to substitute the milk for soy (yay!). The oatmeal was mixed with cranberries (I would have preferred them on the side, but... eh) with brown sugar, walnuts, and toast on the side. My fellow board members ordered pancakes and other breakfast combos.

My one complaint? They charge a splitting fee. How hard could it be to put one pancake on this plate and another on a different plate? It doesn't make sense to me because they don't do anything in terms of plate presentation of their food... Oh, and pass on their coffee. I'd recommend a latte instead.

Overall, it was a pleasant experience. If I'm in the area again and craving some breakfast, I'd head here. Otherwise, I wouldn't make a special trip.

Oh, its so nice to be back in Seattle because you get to go to places that were you're regular spots when you lived here...

What do I love about Endolyne Joe's? Where do I start? The ever changing art work and themed menu? The amazing fried chicken and the slaw (just enough vinegar) or the great beer selection?

Its all that and more! Get there early no matter what the day or time - especially on the weekend. No matter what the wait, I'll stand and wait. Enjoy!

Oh Joe's... where do I begin?

I could not write about  Joe's without mention one fabulous waiter.  I always forget to ask his name but he has longer hair pulled back and wears a great pair of Frye boots.  He is awesome and always provides the best service. He is friendly and charming without hovering. His recommends are always on point!  If it was not for this waiter I don't know if I would visit as often.

When my fav waiter is not there me and Joe's have a love hate relationship. I will order the wrong thing.  Beet raviolis... not good :(   But there is an upside... everyone around me orders delicious dishes, I steal bites... all is well at Joes :)

The menu keeps me coming back for more.  They change it EVERY MONTH! There is always something fun offered to challenge the pallet of an adventurous diner.  Avacado fries anyone? At the recommendation from "the waiter" I ordered fried pickles... they were unreal... so good.

last night I had some perfectly seasoned sword fish tacos (recommended by you know who).  Nothing ever has enough seasoning for me so this was a milestone.

I so recommend Endolyne Joe's, I love the every changing menu and the decor is fun and cozy!

Ahhhh, I wish (for the umpteenth time) Yelp operated on a 10 star scale, as Endolyne Joe's would get a 7, but THERE IS NO 3.5. Anyway. I'll round down, so you can go and maybe be pleasantly surprised, instead of rounding up and risking the wrath of the misled Yelper.

We went twice, my lovey-doo and I. Bot times, the person who greeted us at the door seemed harried and rushed. The first time she said "can I put you at the bar?" We looked around and there were many, many empty tables. She seemed a little annoyed at our "actually, we'd love a table...you know..so we can..see each other without sore necks.." she seemed a tad miffed but we were seated.

and then we had the best experience ever! My All Day Breakfast had delicious toast, perfectly poached eggs, a yummy sausage patty (option for ham or bacon instead, or no animal for less money) and - JOY - my favourite kind of has browns (the shreddy kind that are like a woven mat of deliciousness). My ONLY complaint about my breakfast was they need to drain the poached eggs better - the water they come sitting in made my toast soggy when I dipped and made the yolk too runny and diluted.

The coffee was good. Not great, not bad, just decent.

My boyfriend's Migas - godDAMN. Whomever mentioned they were like dry wood shavings either had a badly done plate or has different taste, because both my date and I were impressed by his Migas. Flavourful, generous portion and you could actually taste the tortilla strips.

The second time we went I had the same thing, but with bacon. Four really big pieces of bacon, too. Yum. My eggs were still not drained well enough, but were yummy. My boyfriend ordered off the rotating "special" menu and got the Argentinean corn pancakes (with citrus and vanilla). They were only okay. A little bland and oily, and the berry compote/syrup served with them was far overpowering and not a complementary flavor. He didn't love them.

The atmosphere here is great - it's big and bright and airy, with a full bar and a patio outside. We go to Lincoln Park a lot so I'm sure we'll be back. And I might even order something different next time...but i love poached eggs on toast.

Hung out in Belltown last night and my pal wanted to go here for breakfast this morning. I don't spend that much time in west Seattle so I was all over the opportunity.

There is an actual parking lot here which I am not used to living where I do so I was pretty excited about that. Being that it was around lunch time on a Saturday it was packed. We only had to wait about 5 minutes so it wasn't too terrible.

My pal was commenting on the rotating menus and we were pleased to find out that the theme was "Georgia". On the wall next to a painting of Martin Luther King we noticed a painting of a mint julep (we only knew this because it read "mint julep"). Naturally we each ordered one because we had never had one before. Very good btw.

We started with a banana rum cake which was delicious and went well with our mint juleps! When it came time to order I settled on the "not your mamma's meatloaf" sandwich. O M G! Two thick pieces of sourdough toast, deep fried red onions, and a thick slab of meatloaf with a bourbon sauce.

Ordinarily I would say that I would eat this again but chances are that the next time I go here the menu will have already changed!

I wonder what the theme will be?

I've been hearing about this place ever since I moved to West Seattle last year, but last weekend was the first time I made it out. See, my husband is a major breakfast person. I love the breakfast, but if I don't get it it's no big deal. Last Saturday he wanted to go out and remembered that I had mentioned Endolyne Joe's. We got there at about 11am and didn't have to wait for a table. I got Migas and coffee, he got the Forager's Omelete and apple juice. We were both pleased with our food. I think the hubby wished his dish was bigger, but he ate the whole thing (as did I) and neither of us had leftovers.

The inside of Endolyne's is pretty cool. A lot of wood and cool art on the walls, it felt really homey. Plus, the kitchen is open so you can see all the cooks making your food.

I will make it a point to come back for lunch or dinner because the menu looked tasty. Also while we were there I saw a waitress walk by with some awesome looking bloody mary's then I noticed the bar. It's nice to have places like this close to home.

Love having this place in the neighborhood. On a recent visit, I had the Bife Asado from their rotating 'festival' menu, and I hope you make it there before they move on from Argentina, because this braised short rib was possibly the best piece of beef I've ever eaten. The marbling melts in your mouth, and the bright flavors of the chimichurri sauce balance the rich meat perfectly. Really, you should be moving toward the door right now; it won't be there much longer.

Our server was very friendly, and made great recommendations. He mentioned he's been there for several years, and seemed genuinely proud when telling us about the neighborhood kids who know him by name since they've been coming to the restaurant with their families since they were babies. Daww.

This restaurant is part of six places in the area that have "themed" menus that change every quarter or so (managed by CHOW). This is a great idea because it allows people to try new interesting foods from different areas around the US, and it helps the cooking staff because it prevents them from getting bored with same same recipes day in and day out.

I also really enjoy how the decorations of the place also change with the menu theme. Local artists paint mural-like paintings to hang on the walls, and there is usually a large "centerpiece" sculpture hanging from the ceiling.

Now I suppose I should talk about the food, that's why people look at these reviews anyway! While I like that the food changes, it also makes me sad. I have had some amazing meals and have been very sad when the theme changed. I cannot remember any specific meals that I have ordered, only that I enjoyed them greatly. I think Joe's has (or had) a healthy organic section or something, and I got some sort of salad on there that was delish!

The bar tenders seem to be competent and generally make very tasty drinks. It's fun to sit at the bar with a date and chat it up with the bar tenders. I also like sitting in the bar section a little more (no kids). I think the only gripe I would have is that getting seating and food delivered can sometimes take a while - but that is usually because it's pretty busy.

For one reason or another this is one of my favorite restaurants in west seattle.  There have only been a handful of times that I have had to wait to get a seat (usually on a Sunday morning-competing against the church crowd).   A portion of their menu changes every so often- so you can always try something new and exciting-yet they have classics that won't do you wrong.
I love their breakfast menu, they have a variety of interesting choices and classics as well.  My favorite is the 'Migas' - a egg blend of chorizo, red peppers, tomoatoes, and onions, served with two flour tortilla's and salsa.  DELICIOUS!  The only reason I give it 4 stars instead of 5 is because they often don't have everything listed on their menu... but other then that it's worth a try!

I love this place! The rotating menu is awesome - I discovered red velvet cake here when they had their Georgian menu. The wait staff is super friendly and the wait is never too long when there is one.

I am pretty disappointed about one thing though: There is never any fried chicken left when I come here for dinner! I have been dying to try it and never come in time. Someday, fried chicken from Endolyn Joe's, someday.

This is where we spent our last day and minutes of 2008. It was 1/2 a block, walking distance from where we live and wanted to play it safe. We went in about 30 minutes before the new year and there were several customers, not much.  Within 15 minutes of entering, it was down to a handful of customers, if that.

The bartender was great! She was nice, cheery and hilarious. We all (with the staff) toasted into the new year with the bubblies and King 5! This was perfect - nice and cozy!

One great thing was going home, near and safe!

A MUST TRY! =)

While eating lunch here the other day, my brother and I tried to classify this place in a few words.  Amish Nouveau?  Upper Middle Class Farmhouse?  We decided to simply enjoy our spicy Bloody Mary's and converse while the kid colored and other happy families ate around us.
Out platters of deliciousness arrived, and we were as happy as pigs in slop.  The brother had a giant, messy pulled pork sandwich and hot, salty fries.  I had the best bowl of split pea soup and a perfect salad.  It was a perfect lunch for a perfectly wet, grey Seattle day.

Brunch here never disappoints, either.  The corned beef hash is homemade and probably some of the best breakfast this girl has put in her mouth.  The sour cream cloud cakes with blueberry sauce are as heavenly as they sound, and the biscuits here are fluffy and light, just like they should be.  Service is fast and usually brought on by a handsome, rough-around-the-edges fella wearing a tie of somesort.

That and a cup of coffee?  Honey, please.

I do enjoy the brunch the most.
I notice that everyone seems to have a problem with the waiters not being very attentive which we've just come to expect.
The restaurant would have 4 stars based on food and atmosphere... but due to the waiters lack of any smile or personality I took down a star. I can get food delivered and through take out if I didn't care about sitting and having a nice meal with a good server.
The changing menu is cool and there's always the regular menu if you aren't feeling very adventurous.

Deep Fried Pickles.  Yeah just like they sound-interesting at best!   However I do give Joe props for attempting this southern delicacy.  For me one try was enough, I much prefer the jalapeno's that they call bottle caps in San Diego.

Otherwise, they made me a great couple of Margaritas with fresh lime, no sour mix and a float of Grand Marnier-Yum!  There was a decent selection of beer on tap of which my table members partook.  I tried the Meatloaf off the themed side of the menu of which was a pure comfort delight.  Hubby went for the BBQ sandwich but wasn't entirely impressed.  Our other table-mate went with the burger of which she seemed satisfied with.  Overall, we were happy but not blown away.

Comparitively, 5 Spot still reigns supreme in my world of Chow!

This is our neighborhood go-to. When we moved to West Seattle we started coming here and we haven't stopped! Bad day? We go to Joe's. Need some comfort food and a place where the servers know us and are friendly without being overbearing? We go to Joe's.

We often head down for a later dinner or Sunday brunch (but it can get busy on the weekends).

We love the cozy feeling of this place and the fact that there's a regular menu with our favorites (onion rings, prawn tacos, Nighthawk, etc.) plus there's always something new to look forward to with the rotating menu, too. Recently, the fried pickles on the Georgia menu have been to die for...

We like *almost* all the Chow Foods restaurants, but this is my favorite... even more than Hi-Life in Ballard. It's just all around comfy ad good.

If you're local or in the hood because you just got off the ferry, stop in and try Joe's for yourself. :) It's worth it.

Well....shit.
We were in Wee Sea and decided that we wanted to get a drink and have some apps.

People have talked about Endolyne Joe's, so we thought we'd give it a whirl.

My bloody mary was pretty good.  My salad, on the other hand, was drenched in too much dressing.  But I was hungry, and beggars can't be choosers, so I ate the majority of it.

Our server, Laura, was...um...how shall I say...bored with us?  She didn't really pay attention to the fact that we might need refills and when she spoke to us, it was almost like she was speaking to an imaginary group of people sitting AROUND us, not directly to us.
The place wasn't very busy - so it's not like she had a bazillion tables to keep up with, so I was rather turned off.
Basically, it was like she didn't really give a shit.  And you know what?  My tip reflected just that.
I'm not saying sorry either.

We might give it another chance - for breakfast - but we'd better get some decent service or I'm changing this to 1 star.

Do not wrong a foodie.

A solid four stars with five star service.  We're from out of town -- sure wish E.J.'s was OUR neighborhood hangout.

Good food, though it's expensive and they don't make things delicious when substituting veggie options.

We live close, so I've been here a number of times. For the veggie/vegans out there, they typically have a 'market fresh' option on their dinner menu that fits the bill. To be clear, it's usually one thing, so I guess you better like it. For breakfast, though, the deal is off. Last time I went there I asked for an egg-and-veggie plate to hold the egg, and I got half a plate of food. I don't know what chef/cooks think when the say "order up" with half a plate of food, but that's what diminishes a 5-star restaurant to a 3-star rating for me.

Last word: Call before you go if you have diet snobbiness you expect them to cover. Common sense doesn't penetrate the kitchen, evidently.

Not sure if they are under new management since my last review, but I hesitantly went with my husband this morning and it was actually fabulous.  I'm vegan and they were completely willing to modify a dish with no attitude.  In the end, it the dish was excellent and I was shocked at the service.

Will definitely go back now.

This is my favorite and LEAST favorite place to eat in Seattle.....I have had great meals but I am always prepared to be disapointed. It depends on the menus and I guess it depends on who is cooking that night. We checked out the new Georgia menu a few weeks ago and I got an uncooked piece of pork......I mean RAW....I have no problem with rare...I like rare...but so raw that its chewy....GROSS! Then as punishment for sending it back-they make sure to take a REALLLLY long time to bring a new one.....oh and watch out-if they offer you a drink while you wait-YOU WILL BE CHARGED FOR IT!

thats all.....I love and hate you Joes!

A good breakfast joint, but I have yet to be wowed by their food.  You know, it's what you'd expect from a typical brunch joint (I've only eaten brunch here, so I can't speak for other meals), but it's nothing particularly special.

The first time I came here, my scrambled eggs were leathery, but the last time I went they were cooked well.  (Seriously though.  Judging a brunch place by their scrambled eggs is a good gauge to their overall quality, imho.)

So yeah.  If you don't want to get up to the Junction for brunch, you could always go here, but I'd head over to Westwood Village and go to Eats any day of the week.

This place continues to defy what you think wouldn't taste good or rather you wouldn't even think to try can be turned into an amazing piece of art that is nothing short of delicious. They have a great regular menu that you can't go wrong with. But the rotating menu is what makes this place happen. Kind of a bummer when it changes and you are madly in love with something. Still by far these people know what they are doing. From the front to the back.

I'm a big fan of  EJ's.  It's a fantastic restaurant for kids -- there's always a ton of families in there and noise so no one notices if your kid starts "talking" at the top of his lungs or throwing things across the table and they give crayons for them to color with. Always a plus.  The food is usually good -- I like the rotating menu and that there's always something new to try.  Sometimes I'll order something that's a miss but usually the food is good and occasionally really spectacular.  It can get crowded but we've never had to wait too long for a table, even on those beautiful sunny days.

Endolyne's is a fun eclectic eatery, tucked away in a corner in West Seattle.  My inaugural visit at Joe's was many moons ago with a dear friend, but I was recently brought back here for a ladies dinner (table for 6, please!) and had a great time!

I ordered the Mahi Mahi on a bed of fresh string beans and was sincerely impressed!  The waitstaff is attentive and friendly and the decor and music playing overhead gives the patron plenty of positive audible + visible distractions.

A great alternative spot to check out if you're in the mood for something a little off the beaten path of California Ave.

I usually only give an eatery three strikes....but when its the only place close to home, I get dragged there more than I would like....

That being said, I have found the secret to a decent meal here.  Stick to the left side of the menu, steer clear of the ever-changing right side....and your food will be as expected and good....not great....but good enough.

Request Nathan as your server.  He is attentive, genuine, friendly, fast, and a way better waiter than I have ever been.  For instance, my dinner guest ordered hot tea....we were sitting outside....far from the plethora of gear needed to serve hot tea (please don't order hot tea...waiters and waitresses are working hard enough....make your own damned tea at home folks),  anyway....he smiled and offered several types of hot tea by name, lemon, sugar, honey, heated mug...I was impressed.  There were several other pain in the ass requests by my dinner guest that made me cringe....but Nathan took it all in stride...and offered more than was requested.

I had the grass-fed, free-range burger...I requested it with bbq sauce and bacon, Nathan suggested grilled onions too....and it was delicious.

My dinner guest had a mahi-bread salad or some such nonsense....but she seemed to like it.  Oh, she requested bread during the meal, and he suggested that he grill it for her.....again, Nathan scores points for going beyond what is expected.

Once before I got some skinny queen of a waiter during the New York Based menu....I ordered potato pancakes...which ended up being hash-browns.....and not very good....so when he asked me why i was not eating (I never send anything back), I said that I wasn't hungry....he persisted that they were very good....so I mentioned that I am a Jew from NY and that they were kind of dissappointing....so he insisted that I have the mahi-bread salad (nothing like the crispy fried food my belly was ready for).....I said no (other guests were almost done eating and I had a yen for dessert)...he brought it and I ate the fish...leaving the bread and lettuce for the compost heap....then he came back to the table and said " What's the matter, not salady enough for you?"    (this is why I never send anything back).

So - this place is hit or miss on the service....but if you stick to the tried and true menu items and request Nathan....you will have a nice meal.
