I'm a huge fan of Enda King, his store, and OK, I admit it, his lovely sales associate(s) :-)
They've got impeccable taste in clothing, fantastic customer service and as other reviewers have said, I never seem to walk out without several pieces of clothing; and I consistently get compliments on my Enda King purchases.
If in LA, definitely go out of your way to visit Enda King on Abbott Kinney. -

Have you ever walked into a store where the staff treated you like you were imposing on them? This would be that store.
When I walked in the saleswoman was sitting on a couch, which I'm sure is meant for the customers. I had to ask her if she worked there in order to draw her attention from the book she was reading. I obviously irked her when I asked if the shirt I had been waiting for (for over three weeks now) was in...a shirt I had to return because I noticed it was damaged when I got it home. As she raised herself from the couch (God forbid you may actually need to get up), her curt response was, "No" and that I should "just pick out another color." "Um, okay, but I really don't want another color. If I did, I would have bought it." I replied. "Well, I'm not really sure what to tell you...it's on order." "Do you have any idea when it may be in?" I asked. "No, I don't." "Then I'd like to get my money back." I asked. She seriously looked at me like I just farted. "We have a no return policy, only store credit." as she points to a barley visible small black and red sign on a stand. Really? Black and red? Like anybody could see that.
I'll spare you the rest... it just got more and more absurd...something about calling the fashion police, the owner's poolside in Palm Springs sipping a Skinny Margarita...blah, blah, blah.
Do yourself a favor and AVOID this place!
If you want cool men's clothing, without the attitude, check out Topo Ranch just down the street.

I live in San Francisco, but everytime I'm in LA --- which seems like a weekly occurence, I stop by this amazing men's boutique on always pleasant Abbot Kinney. I have never walked in and not walked out with at least one or two items.
King's got a great eye and offers a truly enjoyable respite from the normal shopping hullabaloo. Now please... open a store in San Francisco!
(King just opened a women's boutique next door, and my girlfriend refuses to enter for fear of what she might walk out with.) -

My boyfriend is really hard to buy for. Not to mention, I'm an el-cheapo. So when I step into a Mens clothing store that has cool guys clothes with a good mix of sale item's I'm excited! Trendy without being to teen-beat or whoa! way out there, Edna King Men had a great style and vibe. I ended up getting him 2 cool T's at only $20 each but heavily considered a jacket for $75 and a really cool belt. I will take him back to this shop to try on some dud's for sho!

One of the few men's stores near me that has a decent selection and reasonable prices. The man himself helped me pick out some shirts and jeans and helped remove and unwanted seam for me. Prettay, prettay good

bought something in this store in april. liked it and called may 27 to find out if there were other items like it. called 3x long distance and got answering machine promising a call back -- after 2 days it never happened. called again 2 days later and got same machine-- still no call back.
i will never walk into that rude store again nor will i let anyone i am with on abbott kinney walk into that store.
