Dave delivers... no question about it. He has provided some great stuff for some of our CityTrees (http://www.yelp.com/bi...) volunteer plantings, and also he catered one of my company's seminars last year. Everyone was delighted with the quality, variety, presentation, and very generous quantities of all dishes!
Personal fave: the hot and spicy Creole potato salad, best-ever tater salad ever! -

This is a small business run by Dave Hyman in Redwood City. I've never hired him direclty but have been to several events he has catered, and the food has always been outstanding. The question you hear the most is "wow, what's in this?" or "how did you make this?" and Dave is more than happy to tell you.
Dave has a great sense of presentation and style. He is professional through and through. Highly recommended. -

Our company recently used Encore's services for a luncheon. The food was great. So many great flavors, a few of us were sitting around trying to guess what seasonings and spices were used. The combinations of flavors were great. The desserts were delicious. I would recommend them to anyone who appreciates great service and food.

I recently had the pleasure of working with Dave, owner of Encore Performance Catering, when he catered a Celebration of Life for some family friends of ours. He has over seven years of experience specializing in an event that has become quite a niche for Encore Performance Catering.
I helped organize the catering, which Dave made simple, since he was flexible with the menu, helping us find appropriate dishes for the number of vegetarians that would be attending. He was also capable of preparing a beautiful spread on short notice. I had called him only about a week beforehand.
We had given Dave a key to the house, while we were at the funeral. That way he was able to set up and have everything ready for us when we returned. His staff was great. Everyone was empathetic to such a touchy situation. Dave also recommended that we took time to have family and guests give testimonials as a way to honor our loved one that passed. It was a great touch, since this part truly made it a "celebration of life."
After the event, Dave and his crew cleaned up everything quickly and efficiently, as well as boxing all the remaining food in these easy to handle containers. He didn't waste anything and we had delicious leftovers for days. Thanks Dave! -

After attending several weddings that were catered by Encore, I hired them to do a dinner for 16. The evening was lovely and effortless, the food delicious.
