The vets here are really on top of what's going on with animals. I've been going here since I moved to the Dot and always had good service.  Back in March I brought my cat in who'd stopped eating, and they weren't sure what was up, kept him overnight, and luckily everything was OK. (FYI: they don't have people staying overnight with the animals.) The next day the news about the huge food recall broke and they called to check in with me. They sell the whole line of Science Diet and toys, too.

There's something about this place that puts our kitties at ease, and that's saying something.

The moment the cat carrier comes out in our place, the cats are MIA (which is tough to do in a teeny, tiny condo).  Needless to say, my husband and I INEVITABLY acquire a few war wounds before every appointment (scratched arms, torn clothing, etc).  The entire staff at Emmerson has some sort of magical powers that allows them to not only get the cats BACK into the carrier when the appointment is over, but they do it without wearing any protective gear!  They're so animally gifted that they even clip our kitties nails during the appointment, which is a feat in-unto-itself since it normally takes two of us to pin them down when their bi-weekly pedicure is due.

Maybe the staff has some secret Dr. Doolittle thing going on....we should look into that.

Thanks to A.G I checked this place out.  I left my old vet because I was upset that every time I took my dog there it was a different tech that worked with him.  He has severe allergies to shots so I want a vet that knows my dog- and me.  Emerson passed the test!  There are only two vets that work here.  They have a groomer Mondays and Thursdays too.  They also sell Science Diet food and have lots of toys and other neat stuff for animal lovers.  Oh, and parking is a breeze.

I have two cats, one of which I adopted at this hospital. The staff is extremely friendly and knowledgeable and they take excellent care of my pets. They offer advice about diet and training and all of the people that work there are pet owners and lovers. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a quality animal hospital.

I've been taking my dogs here for over a year now and have nothing but good things to say about the staff.  Dr. Glazier is excellent and I think it does really help to have a smaller staff who knows your pet, and your pet feels comfortable with them.  My dogs are actually so happy and excited to go to the vet!  The prices are reasonable and the care seems to be quite good.  Easy parking and it's usually pretty quick to get an appointment.
