I'm not sure where to start when discussing the many reasons I'm in love with Emily's Catering.

    - They are extremely generous.  My charity, Austin Browncoats, needed some passed appetizers donated for a charity function.  Emily's jumped right on supporting us and our mission.

    - When my previous choice for a caterer wasn't going to work because they quality of food was subpar and they doubled the price with no reason, I was left in a bind.  Emily's put together a tasting lunch of a few items on our desired wedding menu that were OUT OF THIS WORLD.  I was blown away by her ability to tackle our inspired menu.

    - Emily (owner) goes above and beyond for you.  She takes the entire experience of creating your menu very personally.  She doesn't just bring and make great food.  She decorated out entire buffet area to look like our wedding.  She added all of these personal touches because she takes complete ownership of her area.  She truly is a creative genius.

    - When our wedding planner backed out TWO DAYS before the wedding, Emily helped us make sure our wedding went off without a hitch.  Without her, things would've been much more difficult.

    - Everyone at our wedding marveled at how amazing the food was.  We heard OVER AND OVER how Emily's provided the BEST wedding food they ever had.  Hell, many said Emily's provided some of the best food they'd ever had.  PERIOD.

    - Emily delivered food to us at my wedding.  She also checked up on us a few times to make sure we had everything we needed.  Her composure, relaxed nature and smile was so calming on a day that could've been somewhat stressful.

    - When my wedding venue accidentally threw away out take-away meals (since we barely got to eat at the wedding, Emily agreed to provide us with an anniversary meal for free -- whenever we want it.  She is going to make us out wedding meal.  She didn't have to do this, but she opted to because she is not just an amazing caterer and chef  -- she is an amazing human being.

If you want an amazing caterer who can cook anything, keep a smile on her face and take charge if you need her to -- Emily is the person for you.  Oh, and by the way, she's also extremely affordable.  In actuality, she's a bargain.  Whodathunk?  An amazing caterer who is reasonably priced -- in Austin?  I truly believe that Emily is the only caterer I've met in this town who 100% is in this profession for the love of food and people -- and how great food makes people happy.  She made my wedding so amazingly special.  I owe her more than just kind words.  I one day hope to repay the favor.

Emily's Catering is fantastic, I called her to see if she would donate 3 appetizers for a charity event we held on New Years Day. And sure enough, she said yes.
We picked up the food and it was amazing, everybody came up to us and complemented us on the food that was served at the event.
Emily is and amazing Lady and a great cook.
If you ever need catering she is the one to go to.

I found Emily's Catering through Yelp, and Michelle C. wasn't kidding.
We had a Tex-Mex menu with absolutely fantastic pulled pork tacos and quesadillas with some really delicious salsas and a remarkable cilantro pesto that I'm still dreaming about.
All of the food was wonderful, and nearly as impressive was the presentation. My bid said one fresh floral was included, so I expected a neat flower arrangement, but my goodness, there were flowers everywhere! They really added so much to my decor (and it totally needed it). The staff was all very friendly and fabulous.
I could not be happier with everything that Emily's Catering brought to the table.

I love Emily's Catering.  They always do an excellent job, their food is scrumptious, and their prices are reasonable for their level of quality.  Their stuffed brie appetizers are insanely good, as are their lemon bars.  My law firm used to throw a holiday party and invite every lawyer in Austin.  We had the last one catered by Emily, and she did an amazing job; we got tons of compliments on the food.

Plus, Emily is a great woman.  She is very generous about giving back to the community, and she's fun to be around, too.  If you use Emily's Catering, you can support a woman-owned business and eat fabulous food at a good price - can't go wrong with that!

Emily's Catering sponsored an event I put on for Austin Fashion week and they were very easy to work with!  The food they donated had meat in it, and I'm a vegetarian, but it didn't last long so it must have been really good.  I really appreciate their help and I hope lots of people took their card from our event and will use them.  I was very impressed with how easy they were to work with.

I used Emily's Catering last weekend for an extended family dinner to honor my infant daughter's baptism and Emily's did a lovely job.  With the baby and also a two-year-old boy underfoot I wasn't sure how I was going to prepare to entertain 25 people (and their small children) plus get my own family dressed and to the church on time.  Emily's Catering set everything up while we were gone and when we got back, voila... a kid-friendly dinner that was presented elegantly and beautifully enough for the adults to appreciate.  I got to spend quality time with my own guests, too, which doesn't always happen when you are the hostess.  The attendant Emily's Catering sent did such an efficient job that I hardly noticed her.   What I noticed was happy guests, compliments on the food and service, and a tidy kitchen  when it was all done.  Keep up the good work.
