I don't know how anyone makes it past the amazing pizza to sit down in the restaurant. I've tasted a lot of pizza on the Island and in NYC. This is by far my favorite and even though I don't live in the neighborhood, I travel to it about once a week for my Emilios fix. By far my favorites are the Marinara slice and the Salad Pizza. Unbelievable flavor, fresh ingredients. Also, don't forget to grab a spumoni ice ($$$ but worth it) on your way out.
Good pizzeria, also a restaurant section with a wicked looking menu. This review is on the pizza. . . It's good slice eating here: The neopolitan has sloppy-looking assembly with a heavy sauce visibility and just-melted/ lightly-cooked mozzerella cheese is excellent, a bit irregular looking, great sauce and not too oiley. Also offer Grandpa's slices with breadcrumbs, and a nice chicken marsala slice with sausage and chunk pepperoni. Always high-traffic, so they don't sit around too long. Somehow is (or was) affiliated with the equally good Branchinellis in Hauppauge, & has the same feel, with the ovens in plain view showing you how things are done here.
Let's get one thing straight, yelpers! The best pizza is not in NYC but on Long Island. Now that I moved to Los Angeles, I rush to this place every time I visit my parents. I grew up in Commack and probably ate there once or more a week. Not that it applies to me but they do have lots of different types of pizza. I usually eat the regular cheese slices, Sicilian slices or the occasional meatball hero which is pretty tasty as well. The place is usually crowded inside but worth the wait. Pauly says -- good stuff!
Great italian restuarant. They have a pizza counter in the front and a few tables to sit at and then there is a regular restaurant in the back. This place is always packed and rightfully so. It's fairly priced and the food is delicious. They also have just about every type of pizza you could imagine. If you ever find yourself here you have to try the eggplant pizza, you won't be dissappointed.
