This 8 story Embassy Suites is an older one in the chain, but it has been remodeled and is clean and friendly. It has all the amenties of the chain, like free hot breakfast and manager's happy hour, and of course, a 2 room suite that is spacious and convenient. I had a king with 5 pillows and the bed was comfy.

We held a small corporate meeting here, and the staff was very accomodating to our needs. The dinner and luncheon  served for 20 people were very tasty, with great flavors  and the service was on point. When we had some technical issues with our own projector, they gave us an industrial strength one that they discounted 80%, which made our presenatations go well.

This Embassy Suites has a free shuttle to and from O'Hare, which you pick up at the Bus/Shuttle center at door 3. It is also 2 long blocks walk to the Chicago Transit Authority's Blue line into Chicago (15 stops, about 40 min each way,  $4.50 round trip) or one stop west to O'Hare.  Downtown you can choose from mal of Chicago's sites.

Being here, you are right nesxt to the Rosemount Convention Center, and even in the dead of winter, there are human Habitrails from the Convention Center to this hotel. There are also some nearby dinging choices, like Morton's Steakhouse.

We got a special group rate, and that was about $120. Not bad with free drink and hot breakfast, and near the Chicago Transit Authority.

My boyfriend and I spent our Valenties Day here. The parking sucks 22dollars that could be free. Then the long haul to the car was ridiciouls. No carts to bring your luggage to the room. Yeah one night but I packed for a week you never know. Then we go up to our room our fridge was not on it smelled like fish and mold. And our tv remotes didn't work took 2 phone calls to the front desk and the man 30mins just to come up and change the remote batterys. He ended up telling us that rooms have been vacant for a year. The bed was comfortable and our sleep was well. Then came breakfast ewww the biscuits and gravy were like throw up and cold, potatos were frozen, the sausage and bacon cold and greasey it was unbealievable. The rooms are spacious and nice just a few things off point.

This was my first introduction to Embassy Suites, and let me just say - I'm sold! That manager's happy hour business really can't be beat. (Possibly a little TOO good.) There's nothing like a nice big suite to come "home" to.  We had a wonderful stay that was very relaxing.  During our stay (over Thanksgiving) the participants of the Irish dance competition descended on the hotel. While it was obviously an isolated event (and the hotel did not plan it) the dancers certainly increased the charm factor.  There were even signs posted around one morning reminding the kids "no running in the hallway after 9." Cute.

What a fantastic deal!  I just recently stayed here for a weekend and I have to tell you that it was the best experience I have ever had with a hotel chain.  You get a large two room suite that includes a microwave, 2 televisions with cable, fridge, pull out sofa bed, ironing board and iron, hair dryers...you name it, it's there.  For the price you also get a  free breakfast (and I'm talking a HUGE selection that includes your choice of eggs, bacon, waffles, bagels, cereal and fruit) FREE cocktails and snacks for two hours every evening and the hotel has a nice hot tub, pool and workout room.  The weekend price for all this was only $110 per night.  There is also room service, a restaurant (with Starbucks) and a lounge on the facility.
