Stayed here for my sissy's wedding in Seattle...very welcoming and clean! The interior of the hotel itself has a very tropical theme...lots of little streams filled with koi fishes. They have a fitness center and a pool with a jacuzzi as well.....(the pool had way too much chlorine in it tho haha) The awesome upside to it is they have complimentary breakfast for you!! Omelet bar...waffles, pancakes, bacon, sausage....cereal, fruit, beverages. Pretty awesome! And i think they also offer complimentary beverages during happy hour or something like that.
The rooms were nice and cozy too...bedroom and living space are in separate rooms and the bathroom is clean! I would totally stay here if i ever visit seattle again.

Hotel was nice. I really liked the rooms and the layout. I didn't like the noise, was very loud (on Saturday night, but still loud and hard to relax in my room).
We also ate at the hotel restaurant and was not impressed with the service. The hostess did more for us than our actual server. Had to get the hostess' attention for drinks, crayons for kids, and to get our check. Food was good, not great. Where was our waitress?
Stayed here several times since I was little and we came up to visit the grandparents. Nice place close to the freeway. On my last visit (late Sept 09), it seemed like they were doing some minor renovations. New windows, some fresh paint (room smelled like it), but don't think they were done painting. Sinks have very low water pressure. Room nice and quiet. You can hear the fountains in the living room, but not the bedroom.
The excercise room is pretty bare bones, BUT it is open 24 hours. Pool had pretty late hours too (2am I think).
Most of the staff was great, but one girl at the front desk acted like she was doing me some big favor when I needed to extend my stay by a day (hotel was not full). Take some lessons from your coworkers.
Washer/dryer work well, but don't lock, so stay down there with your clothes.
Easy to get to/from I-5 to Seattle, but if you're going/coming from the north or I-405, you have to take some city streets. Only about 15 minutes from downtown if traffic's light, and this hotel is usually a little cheaper than the other ES's in Seattle, so don't overlook this one. There's a ton of red light cameras in Lynnwood too. Almost felt like I was home.
I actually have always liked like Embassy Suite hotels (moderately priced) for 2 reasons:
1) awesome complimentary hot/cold breakfast made to order or al a carte
2) rooms have separate living and sleeping areas
This is about the 3rd time I have actually stayed here: 1st was for Prom way back when, 2nd was for my best friend's wedding, and 3rd for an interview.
It has definitely become a bit run down since the 1st time I stayed here at least 12 years ago (yikes, did that just reveal my age?), but it was still decent.
For my most recent stay, the room was supposed to be direct billed, but I still had to end up forking over my credit card because they said it wasn't (not sure if that was the fault of the company I was interviewing with or the hotel's), but at least she told me I had free internet (they charge $4.95/day)! But, you know, pretty decent customer service. I work at a hotel part time and I'm ashamed to say my customer service skills could use some work (LOL, yes, I'm laughing at myself, but crying inside).
No, but seriously, this place is pretty decent for Lynnwood (it's actually probably the best hotel around the area). I guess some people might say it's less than decent compared to other Seattle hotels; but, geez, what do you expect? Lynnwood is 25 minutes from Seattle! But, it is a bit older and you can definitely see the years on this place in the rooms.

i've been to conventions here.
i've slept here with buddies.
my friends have parked in the parking lot and thrown up in their garden.
good banquet rooms... nothing fancy schmancy...
however, their lounge area/lobby is spectacular. cavernous and beautiful... it makes you feel like you're in an indoor garden.
