10 reviews for Embassy Suites Hotel Pleasant Hill
Stayed here for one night while in Wal. Creek for business. I picked the hotel because it is close to the office that I needed to be in, but was pleasantly surprised.
It is an excellent value for the price, the rooms are large, quiet, and well appointed with glass showers, HDTV, and upgraded linens. I also like the ambiance of the atrium.
Reception from 5-7 with free alcohol, as well as free breakfast (a step above the usual boring continental buffet) are definitely a plus.
Staff was courteous and quick, I was never kept waiting or wanting for information. It's also a $5 cab ride from "downtown Walnut Creek" which has a variety of shops, restaurants, and bars.
Great Shower
Flat Screen TV's
Comfortable Bed
AC/DC does not blow on my Face
Free Breakfast what's not to love! I'm a fan on this hotel chain and have stayed at many throughout the country. Keep up the good work!

I've stayed at this hotel on four separate occasions of several nights each. I would recommend this hotel. The rooms are quiet and the furnishings are fairly new. They have free breakfast and free all-you-can-guzzle adult beverages from 5-7 at night. The gym is adequate. I had a meeting downtown and used the BART station, which is right across the street.
About the only thing lacking is decent shops and restaurants in walking distance. But since this is suburban California, I guess you're supposed to drive everyplace.
Stayed here for a few nights, and had no problems. Grabbed the Bart into SF easily as it's walking distance from the Hotel. Hotel food was even decent... room was quiet and clean. Breakfast in the AM was
also a treat, and service was good.
I've stayed here a couple times now. They always had nice rooms and good customer service.
Parking is crazy expensive so part at BART less than 200 feet away.
Each room runs you about 160 dollars.

I've stayed at this hotel more than one night. Actually, I've stayed here about thirty nights. I can safely say this hotel is just fine. It serves everything that a business or pleasure traveler could want. The athletic room is small, but it has enough things to supply a good workout. The staff is always helpful and quick. I was a bit put off by the valet parking only, but after a few times I found it to work pretty well. Seeing what that indoor parking garage is like, believe me you'll be happy to let someone else to the parking.
Of course what I loved about Embassy was the complimentary breakfast every morning. The omelets were huge, filled, and always made to order. Armed with a fully stocked juice and milk bar, this breakfast is big enough to make you pass on a few lunches here and there.

Horrible horrible horrible!!!!
I have stayed at Embassy suites more times than I can count, at least 30 times or more. Our family always stays with Embassy for the nice rooms, included breakfast and indoor pools. In all of my stays I have NEVER been disappointed. I even stayed at this exact hotel twice in the early 90's and it was great.
In January we stayed at this Embassy for two nights, they were the worst two nights of sleep (or lack of sleep) that I have ever had. Our bed was broken down and actually dipped in the middle. The heater sounded like a tractor, so loud that we didn't even hear the Bart train buzzing along outside. The hotel did not resolve our issue.
After we returned home I wrote a letter to the Embassy / Hilton Corporate and was sent a e-mail from management that only tried to explain away their short comings.
I would stay at Embassy again just not this one
Really, it ought to read -2 stars.
This is quite possibly the worst Embassy Suites I've ever been to. Ever.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
They do not know the meaning of customer service. Your patience will wear thin. You will not be able to relax or enjoy yourself. They do not know how to interact with their customers in an appropriate manner. They are located right by a BART station. You will hear the BART lines running all day and night. Their shuttle driver will be rude, swear and curse whether or not he is in front of children. If you decide to order room service at this poor excuse of a hotel, you will get horrible cold food. I repeat DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL.
DO NOT STAY AT THIS HOTEL...
...you have been warned...

We stayed at the Embassy Suites for one night. We loved our room. Very relaxing, clean, comfortable and peaceful. If I could have stayed for a few more days - I would have been so rested!! That's how comfortable my room was. But we got their kind of late and had to leave early because we had tons of things to do. We enjoyed a yummy and generous courtesy breakfast - I was very full and satisfied. No complaints. I enjoyed my stay at this hotel.
my husband and I stayed at this hotel last year and had a very nice time.we took the bart and walked across the street to our hotel, no driving, no parking fees and it was very relaxing. free drinks for 2 hours everynight, and a free breakfast every morning.take your own beverages as the bar closes very early (the bartenders were not all that happy about that) It is a nice easy get away for those who just want to get away from the sirens and crack heads in san francisco! the indoor pool had been over chlorinated while we were there and we were unable to use it, but after a letter of complaint to the company.we were given a complimentary free nights stay at any embassy suite in the country. It is a 3 star at most, but it was clean and quiet and a nice getaway ( ask for a suite away from the bart and you won't hear any noise)
