5 reviews for Embassy Suites Hotel
Overall, I still stand by my claim that this is the best in Flagstaff....I do have one caveat however. Sarah M. is right...the internet is a problem, (to be honest, it sucks!)...it is slow in the rooms and it is an extra fee! Anyone who reads my reviews knows I judge on that issue. (usually with a negative if it doesn't meet my standards!)
I admit....when I am in Flag, I am there for family visits and I may give the internet access a bit of a pass, not that I don't want or need access, but I am a bit less worked up about it than usual. Plus, it is a small town, and my alma mater - Go Jacks! :)
I will be coming to Flag this fall so if anyone has a better recommendation, let me know...though it will have to be good to forgo the made-to-order omelet!

This is it in Flagstaff. Odd that no one has reviewed to date! This is the most comfortable place… Read more »
Overall this Embassy experience did not rock the boat. Fold out couch was inferior to the floor. Room had heating issues which were explained as the seasonal switch between AC and heat. Door cards were either corrupt or the door lock was on the edge of malfunction. Pretty cool bar and a decent breakfast for the first two days (after that it gets old). Location is walking distance to NAU and downtown (nice). This beats a few hotels which are near I-40.
Very clean and comfortable and great breakfast to boot. Location wise, the Embassy Suites is really great, nestled between the University and downtown. It was really easy to navigate around. I'd only ever stayed by the highway in Flag, but now, I'll never stay anywhere but the ES.
Rooms are a tad small for suites but perfect for traveling with a one year old. We put him down to bed in the bedroom and then watched a movie and drank a bottle of wine in our "living room." Bathrooms are quite small, but it didn't really matter much, it got the job done.
Love that the breakfast is full on cooked with eggs and omelettes and french toast - oh my! Cute little "managers happy hour" too with free beer and wine. Nice touch. Mamma needs her glass of wine after a long day hiking in the area.

Good things about this place
-free happy hour. yes i said free. you get free drinks (as MANY as you want) for at least 2 hours (it's around 5-7 ish). unfortunately, i discovered this at the end of happy hour, so I only got one rum and coke. but the bartender made it well :)
-the rooms are roomy, there's a fridge, glasses, plates
-the service: i called for extra towels, extra shampoo, and they were very helpful, speedy, and friendly
-free breakfast buffet!! free omelets (made the way you want them), fruit, oatmeal, juice, bagels, muffins
Not so good things about this place
-the couch bed. I didn't sleep here, but when i first opened it up, i found some hairs and things... i don't think they clean that ish... and they SHOULD
-their chairs. i know this is random, but the seating in the buffet hurt me, physically :( I just grabbed a chair to move it, and i got this huge splinter in my finger. Wilmar D., my hero, was brave took it out with tweezers. but it hurt and it was bleeding. and i'm forever mad at those chairs
-no remote for the family room tv (random)
-you have to pay for internet, ew
It's a nice place to stay. There are just some random things that made their rating go down, sorrrrryyy :)

The room was ok...They have interesting TV Show about local tourist favorite places. Breakfast was VERY good...They even had a cook, who make your own omelet.
