My wife and I stayed here just to get out of the house one night. I liked it. Its a medium size hotel and the bar/atrium was really cool. Right when we checked in we went to the Manager's Reception, where they serve free beer and mixed drinks. I think it was from 530-730pm Mon-Fri. The room itself was nice too. Our room was on the top floor over looking the Dr. Pepper Ballpark. We even had a private balcony. We went out on the balcony and there was a baseball game in progress. So we watched the game for a while. The balcony even had 2 chairs and a small table. The room was huge. A little living area and then a big bedroom. If we ever need to just get away for a night...we will probably stay there again.
Peace Out,
MZ

I live in Frisco, no not Frisco, Tx but San Francisco. We're not suppose to call it Frisco so that you can. You have a nice Embassy Suites. Big and grand.
Your coffee that you serve at breakfast sucks and it taste like instant, but you probably purposely did it so guest will go to the Starbucks shop, which we did.

Oh yes, it's a family weekend complete with karaoke, dancing, food, and lots of laughs. I'm in town for a big, old family wedding and this was a great choice for the hotel.
Gotta warn ya though don't expect to have too early of a check in as this is one busy place. I had never stayed at an Embassy Suites before but I was pleasantly surprised by the service and the rooms (suites).
My room had a separate living room and bedroom, it was well laid out and very comfortable. The only complaint I had were the pillows weren't soft enough but then again, I'm a soft pillow purist.
There is a complimentary continental breakfast complete with an omelet station. And I've read about a Manager's Reception however, being in town for a family affair, I haven't had time to scope out the reception myself but based on breakfast imagine it's satisfactory. For the business traveler this would be a great choice, I especially like their remote printing.
This is the simple comfort hotel and sometimes that's all you need.

Great, easy to find location. The hotel was so easy to find amidst a city with few buildings over 3 stories.
I attended for a conference and found the hotel to be a step above. Great conference rooms, great food and the AV service staff were on the spot for any problems.
As with any conference location, loud music and thin walls don't go well together.

I spent two nights here recently for a mini-tradeshow event. Room rate was $159 / night + $8 to park if you use garage. (There are plenty of surface parking spots for free!)
My room was a huge suite - with a door close off the "living area / office / breakfast bar" from the sleeping area.
My king bed was immensely comfortable.
Very good cooked to order breakfast from 6:30-9:30AM weekdays. Manager's Happy Hour every day from 5:30PM-7:30PM. (Don't forget to tip!)
The front desk staff was very nice. I didn't have my Hilton Honors number when I checked in, when I returned to the desk to provide the lady that checked me in remembered me by name. Nice touch.
On Monday nights, they set up a huge screen in the bar area for folks to watch Monday Night Football while enjoying their free drinks... can't miss with that by my humble standards.

I recently spent 3 days at the Embassy Suites in Frisco for a conference, and I had a mixed experience. I live about 7 miles away in Carrollton, but I had to move into this hotel during that time.
Upon arrival, I checked in at the front desk where they explained some sort of $150 check/charge that would be a deposit, even though my company was paying for the room. When I asked a question about it, the bored girl replied, "As it says on this sign..." and pointed to a fine-print explanation of the charge that was on a plastic folded display card on the counter about 30 lines long. OH YEAH, I read that right after I said Hello. How could I ask such a dumb question...when the answer was RIGHT THERE all along? So this was not a great first impression.
My company was provided with a dedicated bell boy, and while he was very friendly and helped me bring my bags and computer equipment to my room, he stayed around for a tip which was very uncomfortable - we were going to give him one large bonus at the end, and not have to tip him every time we needed help since it would be about 10x a day. He should have known that, but after he did it to a few other people, we made sure his boss conveyed to him that his tip would be provided at the end, and would be substantial. Sigh.
The fact that parking cost extra was a huge turn-off, since there were only about 30 free parking spots it seemed, which were always full. I was not coming and going much, but one day it hailed. Luckily my car did not get damaged, but that was a stress on top of the stress of hosting a couple hundred of our biggest clients for several events over 3 days. They could have given us free spaces in the garage, but this place just seemed to nickel and dime us, even though we were already paying them exhorbant amounts of cash.
The room service was very expensive ($35 just for the ribeye), but the attention to detail was impressive and the food was delicious. Since my company was paying, the cost wasn't a big deal, and I was very happy to get to my room every night and be treated to such service.
The rooms are very, very nice and comfortable. I had a suite with a separate living area, a desk, and a wet bar. The bedroom had its own tv and the bathroom was sparkly clean.
On the night of a Mavericks game, they brought out a big-screen TV into the main dining area of the atrium and I had a great time surfing the web with my laptop out there and taking in the game with other fans.
Overall, I would recommend this hotel to anyone who expects to pay a lot for every little thing they need. If money is no issue, then you will be treated very well here, in great comfort.

I stayed here while attending a conference, and got a good deal because of the conference.
The hotel service is great, there is free cooked-to-order breakfast, free cocktail hour (YES FREE ALCOHOL BETWEEN 5:30-7:30pm), both everyday. My only gripe was that overnight parking in the garage was not free, costing us $8 a night.
Conference/banquet facilities are pretty nice too.
