This was my second time staying here for business. It is a good hotel, especially since someone else is picking up the tab.

Love the evening socials of free wine/beer/cocktails and free made-to-order breakfast. And, it is good.

My first stay I was able to score a corner suite which was much brighter than the traditional suites since it had windows in the living room. But, the other one was OK, too. They have a little wet bar and a fridge and microwave. No complimentary water, though.

Their shuttle is convenient and since my company doesn't provide rental cars, using this service is wonderful. It takes me out to the restaurants within a 3-mile radius and takes me to work, too. They run all the time and haven't ever had an issue waiting.

Their beds and pillows are much better than they used to be, so big plus there. I do wish they would change out the old tube tvs in the bedrooms, but I didn't watch it anyway, so can't really complain.

They have wireless internet, for a fee. They also have a business lounge with computers - but don't bother trying to use them. Pay for the wireless fee and be able to actually get work done.

The hotel is typical Embassy Suites with a large atrium and a manager's reception was going on when we checked in.  We went up to the room, which was a corner one (not a suite), and discovered it wasn't properly cleaned.  There was water in the bathroom glasses and hair on the pillows.  We called the main desk and they apologized, and offered us a regular suite.  So we went down to swap key cards and the new room was cleaner, but the A/C wasn't working right.  So once again, we had to switch rooms.  Finally settled in and went down to get some snacks.  The reception had some nacho cheese and chips, plus the usual drinks.  I've definitely had better stuff at other hotel's evening receptions.

The next morning we checked out the breakfast downstairs.  The omelet was okay, but the biscuit/gravy was pretty nasty.  The potatoes were barely warm, and the fruit was rather mushy.  I ended up eating pastries and cereal because the hot line was ridiculously long to go through again.

Overall I probably won't stay here again, there are much nicer and newer places around for cheaper rates.

Average embassy suites....outdated style.  Free drinks for two hours every night.  Free breakfast....but it ends at 9am! ....Crap!
    Terrible internet.

Lousy old furniture that desperately needs an update and breakfast that stops at 9AM. Heck, I don't even mind paying for breakfast, but ending at 9AM is not acceptable, will not stay here again. This room looks more like grandma's house than a nice hotel. AVOID.

If you are a Hilton fan, check out the Doubletree Galleria nearby. It's not as fancy a hotel, but the rooms are way, way nicer and breakfast until 10:30AM makes it worthwhile.

My family and I stayed at his property a few weeks ago at the beginning of our family vacation. Our ultimate destination in the area was downtown Atlanta to visit the Georgia Aquarium and World of Coca-Cola Museum. Staying a bit out of downtown really helped with availability and saving some money on both the room and definitely enjoying the free parking.

I think I've determined that when traveling with family on an extended road trip type of vacation, having a "suite" hotel format really helps give each other some space as needed. This family vacation being a bit of a working one for myself also allowed me to take advantage of the separate rooms to get work done without keeping the rest of the family awake with the lights on.

We also enjoyed the free continental breakfast the morning we left. I had a great cooked-to-order omelette. My son really enjoyed the bacon and cereal as well.

Great location, helpful and attentive staff, comfortable rooms and convenient to downtown Atlanta and Kennesaw State University.

    Summary:
--decent business hotel, but ok for families
    --free parking
    --free, not gross breakfast
--quiet rooms, generally in true suite configuration

This place would be better if:
--more healthy choices were offered at breakfast
--free internet with security was available as an option (though the support costs might preclude this).

I've stayed here a couple of times while doing business in the area.  The hotel is the predictable Embassy Suites product, which is reason enough for selecting it explicitly over, say, a Hotwire or Priceline alternative.
