We stayed here earlier this week for a Disneyland trip. We got the AAA rate of $140. I basically stayed here because of their "Manager's Reception" aka 2hr long happy hour of free wine, beer and cocktails. They limit you to 2 drinks when you walk up to the bar to order but you can have as many as you like! The website said they have appetizers too but what they offered were chips & salsa, popcorn and pub mix. You can't really complain...FREE drinks for 2hours!!

The room was spacious and clean. They had 2 flat panel HDTVs, one in the living room and one in  the bedroom. The bedroom was separate with a door. We didn't come with kids, but I think it would have been perfect for families. The kids can stay in the living room and the mom and dad and get the separate bedroom. The bed was comfy, nice quality sheets and pillows. I enjoyed how the comforter had some weight to it. The towels were thick and of generous size. The shower head was at a good height, not too low! The water pressure was good too.

They have an indoor pool that is heated. Their hot tub is not too hot which is nice. We used the pool for about an hour, it was nice. There was about 4 other people using the pool when we were there.

Breakfast was nice! They offer "Cooked to Order Breakfast" included in the stay. You basically walk up in the atrium area and there are tables and areas of food and drinks. For the hot breakfast area the person asks if you want potatoes, bacon or sausage and then you can have them make your omelet and get french toast or pancakes. The omelet was awesome!!! They had tons of toppings and it just came out really good! Their system was good too, there wasn't a huge line like you would find at a typical Sunday brunch place for an omelet. It was all-you-can-eat, so if you wanted more you could just get up and get it. They also had pastries, fresh fruit, cereal, toast and bagels. To drink they had coffee, hot chocolate, sodas, and juices. It was so good, the breakfast was worth $30 on its own in my opinion for 2 people.

I would stay here again. It was my first Embassy Suites stay and it looks like I'm a fan! :)

This place is a 2 star hotel simply for their customer service. Ultimately I booked this hotel to attend a local wedding. I requested early check in and was told it shouldn't be a problem, just confirm it closer to the check in date. I called to confirm it - was told no problem. Dropped some fellow out of towners at the hotel the day before I was going to check in, so I PHYSICALLY spoke to the front desk and was told again - no problem. Come check in time I was told there was nothing available, and the manager said he didn't know why I was told I could get early check in as Embassy Suites doesn't do that.

Really? You're kidding.

That manager chapped my hide (yes...I wrote that). If you see a young, male manager with a dated faux-hawk make sure you don't let him be dickish to you - like he was to me and my BF. We never got an apology, any type of comp and (knowing full well that we were pissed) gave us the same crappy room someone else yelped about - under the hotel AC tower, overlooking the scrap yard that was in full swing at 8am ON A SUNDAY!!

*sigh*

The only redeeming quality about this hotel is the happy hour - free drinks for 2 hrs everyday - not just Monday - Friday - and the awesome bartenders that gave me extra shots to save me extra trips to the bar. My BF and I made a point to drink enough alcohol to equal the cost of the room. We even got extra room keys to share with our friends that weren't staying at the hotel.

Suck it faux-hawk douche! Suck it good!

One of worst embassy suite stays I've had. The room was not what was requested and was overlooking a scrap yard which had trucks constantly beeping and some kind of horn each time they used the crushing equipment. This started early in the morning. As though this was not bad enough there was a air conditioning cooling tower and extremely loud fan that ran 24/7. I have stayed at many embassy suites, many are excelent,  but this one is just horrible.

The breakfast was so busy that you had to wait 15 minutes to get your food, and that wad not the worst. When you ordered your eggs you also had to chose the other items, so that by the time you got your eggs the rest if the food wad cold. My over easy eggs were broken and over cooked and full of burnt bits of the other food being cooked as the griddle was nit cleaned between omelets and other items. The orange juice dispenser spat out juice but at such force as to splash out of the cup and all over me and the counter. I will never come back here and I would recommend you skip it as well.

I remember when I 1st heard of this place. I was in 6th grade. It was such a popular place to have a birthday slumber party. I was never allowed to go to slumber parties, but now I can see why this place was so popular.

Plus:
Great customer service, atrium, koi streams, waterfall, plants & trees, indoor pool, kiosk to check in/out & print boarding passes, complimentary breakfast (made to order omelets & much more) & happy hour everyday (includes soda/juice for the kids), roomy suites (private bedrm & living rm, sofa bed, refrigerator, microwave, 3 sinks, 2 flat screen TV's, plenty of storage space, towels, pillows, & blankets), and right next to the freeway.

Minus:
Air conditioner didn't work threw out the rooms & the toilet didn't have a strong flush.

Whats not to like about embassy suites! Since this was not the first time I stayed in Embassy Suites, I figured I could not go wrong staying there on my trip to Disneyland! I called them first to ask whether the hotel was close to Disney, and they said yes. Best of all, they have a free shuttle to take you to and from Disneyland every 20 mins or so. Just call or go to the front desk to sign up for your time slots! The shuttle ride is only about 10-15 mins, and you dont have to pay for parking at the park. That's great!

The rooms were clean - and big. There is a seperate living room from the bedroom (seperated by a door), so you def. get a lot of space from this hotel. In the mornings, there is complimentary made to order breakfast : eggs, sausage, pancakes, fruit, omelets, bacon, hash browsn, pastries, cereals, milk, juice, etc. And in the evenings, they have a manager's receception, which they give you complimentary snack mix, and drinks/wine. There is a swimming pool, a workout room and a business center for guests to use. You will def. feel like this is your home away from home.

Whenever I travel to Southern California, I try to get my company to book my stays here.

It's pretty much like every other Embassy Suites.  They have the cocktail reception every afternoon, with light snacks.  I never really go to that since I'm not a big drinker.  The breakfast is awesome - all you can eat, omelet bar, lots of fruits, pastries, cereals and all the staples.  It's so good - the biggest reason I love this hotel chain. The atrium is pretty nice, cute turtles and fish.

The rooms here are really nice.  They've been recently remodeled so the decor is pretty sleek.  The suite comes with a living room and bedroom, that are actually separated by a door, so that's really nice.  The room has a nice wet bar with fridge and microwave.  Very spacious bathroom.  There are also pretty nice flatscreens in both rooms.

The service here is great.  The only problem I really ran into was that the staff misplaced some things I shipped there.  Other than that, the staff and hotel stay was great.  The location is convenient if you have a car, though its kind of in an odd location, and if you're on the east side of the building you get a lovely view of the metal scrapyard.

This is not the first Embassy Suites I've stayed at, and because of the brand I was expecting similar quality like my previous stay at an Embassy Suites in Las Vegas.

Because it was around Christmas time the lobby was furnished accordingly for the holidays. The staff was very nice and helpful while checking in.

The place was similar to other Embassy Suites, with the atrium setup. This Embassy was much nicer than the one in Las Vegas, although the one in Las Vegas I speak of is by the Convention Center which caters more to business travelers. I'm sure the other Embassy Suites would be a much better comparison when it comes to style points.

The rooms here however, were much better. No complaints from the Las Vegas Convention Center Embassy Suites, but these were just better in everyway. Both TVs were LCD HDTVs (yes there are 2, one in the living area, and another in the bedroom). As you can see from the submitted pictures, the decor has a very modern elegant feel to it. I have absolutely nothing bad to say about the room. It was very clean as well, but most if not all Hilton brand hotels are.

There is an indoor pool and jacuzzi, and MEDIUM fitness center. I say medium because saying small would be describing the Hampton Inn brand of Hilton hotels. The machines seem up to date with built in LCDs into them. Unlike many hotels, the use of the pool/fitness center is INCLUDED with your rate.

And of course the complimentary breakfast (that means free and included with your stay) was very welcomed. The eggs are cooked to order. They will cook it how you like it, as well as omlettes. I like to throw in a tip to show my appreciations to the cook. Other breakfast items include the usual bacon, sausage, french toast, pancakes, yogurt, cereal, muffins, etc etc. Several choices in beverages as well. What I did notice about this Embassy Suites breakfast is all the hot items are given to you after you ask. At other Embassy Suites, you just help yourself. Interesting; perhaps many have taken advantage to where they had to result in this tactics. Shame on you who have taken advantage.

After gathering your food you get to sit in the spacious atrium. They even have a pond with real live fish.

My only complaint is INTERNET ACCESS IS NOT INCLUDED. I was very surprised by this because I've stayed at several Embassy Suites/Hampton Inns, and they have always been complimentary. I'm also a Hilton Honors member and usually if there is a charge, its free for members. Oh well, can't have it all I guess. That was the reason for my only star deduction.

I did not have a chance to make the manager's reception but that is always something you can't miss. Who can say no to free alcoholic beverages.

Overall great hotel, with friendly staff. Clean rooms, and great amenities that are included which are often overlooked. I'll stay here again without hesitation, but only hope they had free internet access.

I have stayed here 3-4 times already and have always had a great experience with ALL Embassy Suite Hotels.  This recent stay I brought my two dogs and STILL had a wonderful experience.  I was able to let my dogs run around unattended as long as I placed the do not disturb sign on the door.

The dogs were allowed to walk around the hotel which made them very happy!  They were not allowed during their COMPLIMENTARY COOKED-TO-ORDER breakfast and their EVENING of FREE BEVERAGES and SNACKS, which is understandable.

Again... FREE COCKTAILS... is A PLUS!

This is my definite NUMBER ONE PLACE TO STAY WHEN I'M IN ANAHEIM!

**UPDATE 5.25.08**

Here once again!  They now have a gift for your pets when you arrive.  They give a really soft blanket for you to put on the couch, biscuits, and a "PET IN ROOM" sign.

Had belgian waffles today that were delicious!  Their BED is as comfortable as always...

There was a wedding during the first two days of our stay.  VERY CROWDED.  When we were at the gym about 5 kids came in soaking wet and left with the floor drenched (including my workout mat).  BUT the gym seemed to be updated since the last time I came.  Medicine Balls, FREE WEIGHTS, and stability balls were there for you to use!!

I really liked this place. I love the outdoor but really indoor feel. Its all the good things about inside and all the good things about outside.
The rooms are nice and clean and their complementary breakfast is to die for!

The ONLY problems i had were that ttwo of the employees were kind of rude to us and that our dog was not allowed to come sit with us at breakfast, even if we sat far away from the eating and food area.

All Embassy Suites Hotels have the same looking lobby.. They have this weird foliage.. and man-made stream with little bridges and koi fish swimming in the ponds.. And then they have these glass elevators that take you up and down and you can see all these weird potted palms while you go up to your floor or come down to the lobby.. I don't know.. it's just weird and sort of jungle-looking and uncomfortable for me.

I was here for a wedding reception and the ballroom was dark and shabby. Food service was slow and the waitstaff was hard to flag down. Overall, this particular location is old and somewhat run-down. It feels that way when you enter it. I would say its best quality is its proximity to the freeway.

Hubby and I usually stay here when visiting Disneyland. Very much like all the other Embassy Suites I've stayed in. They have a Manager's Reception in the evening with free drinks and free cooked to order breakfast in the morning.
