I recently went to Elle Marie to get a much needed cut and color. The stylist actually LISTENED to me. Kudos.
I got what I wanted and the price was very reasonable. I will definitely be going back!
I went in on my birthday to have my hair reconditioned and blown out for my party a few hours later and they were all in such a rush that after I was done being rinsed out, they basically scooted me out the door, sopping wet. I was given the option of blow-drying my own hair or waiting another hour or so for a free stylist to do it, but I chose not to because I had scheduled a make-up appointment as well. Luckily my husband was able to get me in for a blow-dry straightening appointment at the Alderwood Mall, but that was after I sat in my car crying from the embarrassment of being made to feel like I was basically escorted out of their salon.
I don't think I'll be back after that, which is sad because I have been going to my stylist for about four years now.

I have been to this salon for my cuts and colors (Whitney is my stylist) on many occasions and I must say, I thoroughly enjoy Elle Marie. Not only is the vibe there exceptional, but the decor is tasteful and the people are friendly and relaxed. I have been to many salons Downtown, Bellevue and Kirkland and living in Mays Pond, I decided to just try Elle Marie for a change. I am so glad I did. They certainly raised the bar on all of those other salons! By all appearances they provide a fantastic environment not only for their staff, but the clientele as well. I will continue to be a repeat client!!
